Abstract

This study entitled as “The Impact of Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning on Organizational Performance through Innovation as an Intervening Variable (Case Study on Grand Inna Malioboro Hotel). The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between knowledge management, organizational learning, innovation, and organizational performance. The samples used in this study are employees who have positions as supervisor, officer, manager, and executive with the number of sample returned is 60 respondents. Data analysis techniques used in this study are Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this study prove that: (1) There is a significant positive relationship between knowledge management and innovation; (2) There is a significant positive relationship between organizational learning and innovation; (3) There is a positive not significant relationship between knowledge management and organizational performance; (4) There is a positive not significant relationship between organizational learning and organizational performance; (5) There is a significant positive relationship between innovation and organizational learning; (6) The roleinnovation mediates the relationship between knowledge management and organizational performance; (7) and the role innovation mediates the relationship between organizational learning and organizational performance.

Abstract

Diversity in the e-banking research models indicates that a behavioral research tends to be developing. Inaddition, that in the e-banking adoption research models, included in observation setting, shows that the ebankingadoption research is a very interesting phenomenon so that the conclusions, implications andlimitations of the previous researches give a chance to carry out further researches suitable to different andunique observation setting.The first year research orients to the examination and map of an e-banking adoption and the second oneexplores and exploits potency for building intention to use in the e-banking as effort to develop and grow a selfindependentbanking customer and develop all the potencies in relation to customers into a smart customer.Referring to the diversity in the e-banking research models, the map result is limited to the amount of journals(50 titles). When the journals can be reduced with the diversity in the models and cases in various countries, theimplication to the generalization has not been satisfactory. However, these journals are representative todetermine a model for building observation setting suitable to a research, included in making questionnaires.Based on the description above and limitation to empirical journals in number as a reference to map, it issuggested that a further research needs to add more journals, particularly to develop the findings of usedmodels and approach as well as method.

Abstract

An analysis of a small industry is a wide variety and refers to developing and empowering; therefore, in along term, it can be autonomous in a strict competition. The study aims to examine a small industry performance ofchips in Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency, Jogjakarta. The study is useful for describing the characteristics ofindustry specifically. It was a qualitative approach with data gathering through depth-interview with key person.The findings of the study indicate that UKM (middle-small sized industry) in a variety of forms has differentcharacteristics. However, there are a number of serious problems for sustainability. Some problems are a license,location and capital since a majority of UKM is not bankable, a lack of human resources including regeneration andsuccession for sustainability, dualistic leadership as owner as well as manager, serious management problem –incredible accounting, pay standard, raw-material assurance, additional product, marketing aspect and waste ofproduction.A further research needs to design all problems referring to the findings of the UKM cases in industrycenter for chips. Although the generalization of the findings is not broad, it shows a classical problem of UKM toneed analyzing more intensively for answering the problem. For a further research, thus, it is necessary to includeall of the parties to find a solution for the continuity of UKM that can positively contribute to labor marketrecruitment and micro and macro economy improvement. However, the study is limited to the case so that thegeneralization can not be reached. The conclusion, but, can concretely describe a variety of problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan mutasi kerja dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 4 Semarang. Mutasi kerja merupakan bagian dari strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia yang mencakup promosi, rotasi, dan demosi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara terhadap empat informan dari berbagai unit kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mutasi kerja telah dilaksanakan secara sistematis dan menyesuaikan kebutuhan organisasi. Dampak mutasi terhadap kinerja karyawan sebagian besar bersifat positif, terutama dalam hal pengembangan keterampilan, perluasan pengalaman, serta peningkatan keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi. Penempatan kerja yang lebih dekat dengan domisili juga meningkatkan kenyamanan dan efisiensi waktu. Namun, ditemukan beberapa kekurangan seperti pelaksanaan mutasi yang mendadak, minimnya pelatihan, dan kurangnya komunikasi yang dapat menimbulkan kebingungan. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi bahan evaluasi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas kebijakan mutasi kerja di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of work discipline on employee productivity at the Bekasi Regency Personnel and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDM), prompted by issues such as tardiness and non-compliance with dress codes. A qualitative approach was employed, using observation, semi-structured interviews with six informants, and documentation (February-June 2023, May 2025). Findings reveal that the GPS-based attendance system is hindered by signal issues, with personal awareness as the main barrier. Theoretical review highlights the link between discipline and productivity, along with preventive-corrective approaches. Discussion suggests optimizing technology and enforcing strict sanctions. Conclusion: enhanced work discipline can boost productivity, with recommendations including infrastructure improvements, sanctions, and training.
