Abstract

Humans develop a set of knowledge. This is predicated on the fact that he needs it. Because people inevitably have to determine for yourself how he behaved towards the prerequisites-a precondition of his life, and because the whole of reality is potentially took, he was in such need of accuracy and the overall integral knowledge of reality. Human beings can only live well when he responded to the reality of it as it is, and for that he should know, of the review historically, fitsafat was the one who originally handled the "knowledge" of it. Studies that increase the quantity and quality of human knowledge. Science-the science of organizing human knowledge systematically in order to be effective, and develop methods to add, deepen, and fix it. For the sake of that purpose, science should limit themselves to specific areas and develop the methods as precisely as possible to the each field.

Abstract

Education as an institution allows preparing human resources that have the readiness and competence in global competition. Learning program prepares learners with integrative interconnect. In addition, the program language proficiency skills and skills that are hard skills and soft skills. Therefore, strategies are needed education system and school management processes that lead to the formation of character learners. Rationally, character-based education is critical for immediate implementation, therefore, the central issue is examined in writing regarding strategy, a readiness of human resources, indicators of success, design implementation, evaluation strategies, barriers and policy components required. This study used a qualitative approach to presenting the study; (1) The description of the reality of education in Indonesia in general; (2) Strategy to build a new discourse of understanding the implementation of character education based on local wisdom

Abstract

The development of the madrasa in the context of modern it is quite interesting if it is linked with the phenomenon of globalization which brings significant changes to systems and madrasah curriculum which previously was the result of the development of the educational system individually and pretty loaded with Islamic education. Recent development shows that the madrasa has been doing adaptations with the demands of globalization, which became a milestone for the formation of "modern" madrasah with an image in contrast to the madrasa. In this context, the madrasa seems to not see globalization as a thing to be feared but should be faced.

Abstract

Since the beginning of the emergence of Psychology flow (the flow of behaviourism), seen as a man filled with mechanical problems. This flow then sees the problem that exists in humans, not to mention with the view of psychoanalysis who viewed the memories of the past as the cause of suffering that exists today. That's why psychology that deals with the problem often referred to as negative psychology, because in its more to the negative side of human pathological. Psychology meant only limited offer of therapy over psychiatric problems. In fact, humans do not just want to be free of the problem, but also crave happiness. Martin Seligman, a psychologist expert study of optimism, pioneered a revolution in psychology through the positive psychology movement. Positive psychology positive emotions associated with the excavation, such as happy, kindness, humour, love, optimistic, kind, and so on. Positive psychology is not intended to replace or eliminate suffering, disadvantage or disruption (soul), but rather to add to the Treasury or to enrich, as well as to understand scientifically about the human experience.

Abstract

The most crucial factor for a teacher is to have four competencies, including pedagogic, personality, social, and professional. This study focused on professional competence. Professional competency ability is the teacher's competence in mastering broad and in-depth learning material that allows guiding students to meet competency standards. Teacher professional competence has the direct mastery of the scientific structure of subjects that are taken care of broadly and deeply so that it can help teachers guide students to master their knowledge or skills optimally. Based on the data collection process, an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the development of teacher professional competence will at MTs Darul Huda Mayak Ponorogo, and strategic competency quality offers at Madrasah MTs Darul Huda Mayak Ponorogo.

Abstract

The development of quality educational institutions, often associated with the development of the quality of teachers. Because of teachers as educators who have a strategic position, it has a direct influence on the teaching and learning process of students. The quality of the results of the study is determined by the quality of the meetings between teachers and students. So that the quality of education in school graduates are depended on the teacher and the management of related components in the teaching and learning process. Based on data analysis, it was found that (1) the efforts of the school principal in improving the effectiveness of teachers performance generally are determined by three factors, namely: a) the role of the school principal, includes the formulation of a vision and mission, making plan of work program; b). The management of school and teachers, by applying the School-based management; c) the role of the teacher as a personality. (2) The efforts of increasing the effectiveness of teachers' performance supported by following factors, namely: an open attitude of the school principal, as well as the support is given to teachers, cooperative attitude of the Committee, the learning environment, as well as the participation of parents and the community. (3) the efforts undertaken in the increase the support and resistance are trying to maintain the values of Islamic teachings, keep blending religion with public knowledge (characteristic of religion). In addition to school principal and teachers and other parts of the school, always discuss and dialogue with the parties concerned, as well as perform the continuous evaluation. The school principal also gives a chance and the opportunity to the teachers to develop themselves, more creative, innovative, and competitive.

Abstract

When the tide of unemployment hit the USA and Europe, in Japan the opposite phenomenon occurs. In 2002, in Japan deaths were recorded because of excessive works. In this country, the phenomenon of death because of excessive works is called Karoshi. Karoshi is common in Japan.  It becomes deadly syndrome as a consequence of long hours works. The debate about deaths from excessive work already sticking out in Japan since the 70s. The first official case of Karoshi was reported in 1969 when a 29-year-old male worker died because of stroke. It is estimated over ten thousand workers died each year due to death by brain and stroke caused by an overload work. Karoshi often happen to male workers dominantly. The main cause of karoshi is stress due to high pressure in the work environment, and work habits of exceeding a  standard of normal working time (8 hours). In addition, their extra time to work is imbalance with and the salary they earn. In its development, the phenomenon of karoshi contributes to the term salaryman and workaholic.

Abstract

Sejarah persentuhan agama dengan psikologi mengalami pasang surut. Bentuk persentuhan itu sangat dipengaruhi oleh model dan metodologi serta pergeseran paradigma yang dipergunakan psikologi. Pada perkembangan awal psikologi digunakan sebagai pisau analisis dalam membedah perilaku beragama. Menjelang awal abad ke 21 pola hubungan ini mengambil bentuk lain, dimana teori psikologi dilahirkan dari pemahaman terhadap perilaku beragama. Dalam sejarah perkembangan psikologi selanjutnya terlihat bahwa lahirnya teori psikologi yang kemudian disusul teori psikologi yang lain adalah karena semangat mengkritik, yaitu mengkritik teori psikologi yang lama untuk kemudian membangun teori psikologi yang baru. Ini sesuai dengan pendapat Thomas Samuel Kuhn (1970) dalam bukunya The Structure of Scientific Revolution mengatakan bahwa pergeseran ilmu pengetahuan merupakan hal yang biasa dalam sejarah perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Pergantian dan pergeseran paradigma ini terjadi akibat paradigma yang sudah ada tidak mampu lagi merespon perkembangan kehidupan manusia. Dan gelombang revolusi ilmu pengetahuan selalu ditandai oleh pergeseran dan penggantian dominasi paradigma ilmu yang berlaku.
