Abstract

Accreditation is a government assessment for a Higher Education. Based on the regulation of the minister of education and culture of the Republic of Indonesia number 87 of 2014 article 6, the validity period of the accreditation status and ranking of accredited study programs and tertiary institutions is 5 (five) years. During this time, the institution must prepare the documents used for accreditation. In 2019, the government has implemented changes to the standard accreditation assessment criteria of an institution, the evaluation of accreditation documents refers to several documents, one of them is Study Program Performance Sheet (LKPS) which is recapitulated in an excel. This research focuses on data integration at LKPS. In the LKPS excel data there is a relationship between the data with one another. One of the data that has a relationship is data related to lecturers with tridharma activities. Given that the application of this new rule began in 2019, this research focuses on designing the concept offline, namely Database integration made using Microsoft Access. LKPS analysis results have determined that there are 30 tables of which there are 22 integrated tables and 8 tables that do not have integration.

Abstract

In 2020, Indonesia experienced a pandemic known as the Corona Virus or Covid-19. The government-imposed social distancing rules affect Indonesian society for teaching and learning activities at the university. Governments impose rules on online learning systems. The online learning system provides convenience, but on the other hand, there are adverse impacts for some students, one of which has a mental workload. The study aims to measure and analyze student mental workloads using the Rating Scale Mental Effort (RSME) method. The number of respondents was 111 students. The mental workload measured is a quantitative learning system that is quantitative with the delivery of the material directly (Synchronous) and the delivery of the material using the recorded video in advance (Asynchronous). The indicators of mental work effort are workload, work difficulties, job satisfaction, mental effort, anxiety, and work fatigue. The measurement results show that the RSME value of the workload indicator and the work difficulties between the online learning methods are significantly different. Mental workloads, technical difficulties, work mental ventures, work anxieties and work fatigue when online learning is high enough on the learning system using Synchronous, with a value of 93.27; 94.5; 94.27; and 96.54. However, for job satisfaction, students are more satisfied learning by using video recording than Synchronous, i.e., several 79.61. The results show that the recommended online learning method is with video recording.

Abstract

Abstract

Design of Decision Support System (DSS) for final project topic recommendation for ITERA Industrial Engineering students by integrating Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) and Certainty Factor (CF) methods used to support this research. A common problem is when determining the final project research topic, where most students have difficulty finding a topic that is in accordance with their respective fields of expertise. This causes the final project to take longer than the estimated standard time for graduates, which is normally between 4-5 years. The purpose of this study is to assist final year students in determining the final project title that suits their preferences and academic needs. The CBR method is used to search and compare cases based on case similarities with data contained in the database, while the CF value is applied to handle uncertainty and provide a level of confidence in the resulting recommendations. The results show that the integration of these two methods improves the accuracy and relevance of recommendations, as well as providing better transparency through the presentation of Certainty Factor values. System evaluation shows a high level of user satisfaction and a decrease in the time required to determine the final project topic. The design and development of a decision support system for final project topic recommendations was successfully carried out by integrating the Case-based Reasoning and Certainty Factor methods implemented on web hosting, performance evaluation and the impact of system use on user satisfaction showed that users felt satisfied when using the decision support system.

Abstract

Workers in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) generally acquire work skills informally through experience or family tradition without receiving formal education on occupational safety and health (OSH), as observed among workers at Pak Afif's Tofu Factory in Bandar Lampung. This condition is reflected in the low usage of personal protective equipment, a dusty work environment with inadequate ventilation, and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders resulting from intensive manual activities. This community service activity aimed to improve workers' OSH literacy through non-formal education by integrating andragogical principles and the Work Improvement in Small Enterprise (WISE) framework, ensuring the learning process aligns with the participants' work experience and practical needs. The program was implemented through the stages of planning, preparation, implementation, and continuous evaluation. Learning outcomes were measured using pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed an increase in OSH knowledge, with an average score increase of two points among the five participating workers. These findings indicate that non-formal education based on andragogy is effective in enhancing safety awareness and literacy within MSME worker communities.
