Abstract

Mapepegat in the Ngaben ceremony is a form of yajna implementation aimed at Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa and its manifestations with the aim that the Atma can run smoothly towards the creator, and ask that in this life and life not be bound by worldly elements. The Mapepegat ceremony carried out by the people of Tengkudak Village still has imbalances in its implementation in terms of time and place of implementation and is not very well known by the community at large. This research raises a problem, namely about the theological meaning of the mapepegat ceremony in the Ngaben ceremony held in Tengkudak Village. To analyze this problem, symbol theory is used. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data comes from the field or from the place where the research is carried out, while secondary data is data that comes from literature or literature. Data collection was collected by means of observation, interviews, literature and documentation. To analyze the data obtained using descriptive qualitative methods. Mapepegat in this Ngaben ceremony uses the facilities and infrastructure of the ceremony such as the mapepegat banten. The meaning in the mapepegat ceremony is described through several meanings including the meaning of sincerity, the meaning of togetherness, the meaning of harmony and social meaning.

Abstract

Yoga merupakan sebuah ilmu yang menjelaskan mengenai hubungan fisik, mental, dan, spiritual untuk mencapai sistem kesehatan menyeluruh dalam tubuh. Ini membuat penulis ingin mengangkat tentang “Pengaruh Yoga Asanas Dalam Meredakan Nyeri Haid Sebelum Menstruasi Pada Remaja Putri Ekstrakurikuler Yoga SMK Negeri 2 Denpasar “. Dengan tujuan nya melalui dua poin pertanyaan yakni: 1. Bagaimana praktek dari pelaksanaan yoga asanas untuk meredakan nyeri haid sebelum menstruasi pada remaja putri ekstrakurikuler yoga SMK Negeri 2 Denpasar?, 2. Bagaimana pengaruh yoga asanas dalam meredakan nyeri haid sebelum menstruasi pada remaja putri ekstrakurikuler yoga SMK Negeri 2 Denpasar ? Hasil penelitian ini dilihat dari praktek dari pelaksanaan yoga asanas dan pengaruh yoga asanas dalam meredakan nyeri haid sebelum menstruasi pada remaja putri ekstrakurikuler yoga SMK Negeri 2 Denpasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner pretest dan post test, dengan tipe non Equivalent Control Group Design. Untuk pengumpulan data dengan cara mengisi partisipasi kunjungan latihan setiap melakukan latihan selama 2 bulan lamanya. Setelah melalui tahap analisis, pada Crosstabulation memaparkan hasil bahwa, terdapat hubungan di dalam pengaruh yoga asanas pada nyeri haid sebelum menstruasi. Selain itu karakteristik siswi SMK Negeri 2 Denpasar memiliki umur 15 -18 tahun, dan beberapa siswi SMK pernah mengalami Nyeri haid. Dari penilaian dalam penelitian ini dilihat gerakan yoga asana yang mampu meredakan nyeri haid sebelum menstruasi antara lain: Halasana, Sarvangasana, Bhujangasana, Chakrasana, Janu Sirsasana, Marjariasana, Ustrasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana, Trikonasana, dan Padahastasana.

Abstract

Nata Mudra Karana dance is a sacred art in Malang RegencyThis happens because this dance has adopted many sacred pandita mudra movements and is believed to have holy spirit energy. Therefore, this research becomes very important in order to reveal the Nata Mudra Karana Dance Procession in the Melasti Di Ceremony Balekambang Beach, Malang Regency and its influence on Hindus in Malang Regency. This research reveals the form of function and meaning contained in the Nata Mudra Karana Dance. The theory used in this research is Religious Theory to examine the formulation of the first problem. Functional Structural Theory ( Talcott Parsons ) to examine the formulation of the second problem. Symbol Theory and Aesthetic Theory to examine the formulation of the third problem. This type of research is qualitative with Hindu theological approach. The result of this research is the procession of Nata Mudra Karana Dance starting from the form of staging, preparation of infrastructure, place and time of implementation and procession of Nata Mudra Karana Dance. The Nata Mudra Karana dance has the following functions : (1) Religious function (2) Social function (3) Cultural preservation function (4) Entertainment function. The meanings contained in the Nata Mudra Karana Dance procession are (1) Theological meaning of the color element of the Nata Mudra Karana Dance (2) Theological meaning of the elements of the Nata Mudra Karana Dance movement form and (3) Socio-cultural meaning of Nata Mudra Karana Dance.

Abstract

Sanskrit is one of the classical languages that plays an important role in understanding the sources of Hindu teachings and preserving Hindu cultural and spiritual heritage. Madyama Widyālaya Jñana Dharma Sastra has made Sanskrit one of the local content subjects taught to students. This study aims to determine: (1) the existence of Sanskrit language learning at Madyama Widyālaya Jñana Dharma Sastra; (2) the factors that support and hinder Sanskrit language learning; and (3) the efforts undertaken to maintain the existence of Sanskrit language learning from the perspectives of Humanistic Learning Theory and Motivation Theory. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The research informants consisted of the principal, Sanskrit language teacher, and students. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that Sanskrit language learning at Madyama Widyālaya Jñana Dharma Sastra continues to exist and plays a significant role in enhancing students’ understanding of Hindu teachings, preserving Hindu cultural and spiritual heritage, and developing students’ religious character. The learning materials include Devanagari script, Sanskrit grammar, the Bhagavad Gita, and Subhasitam. Supporting factors include students’ learning motivation, interest in Hindu culture and teachings, teacher support, learning facilities, and a conducive school environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include the complexity of the learning materials, limited learning resources, and differences in students’ abilities. Efforts to maintain the existence of Sanskrit language learning include the use of engaging teaching methods, provision of learning facilities and media, integration of Sanskrit into religious activities, giving rewards to students, improving teacher competence, and strengthening students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
