Abstract

The purposes of this study are (1) to describe the feasibility of evaluating early childhood learning textbooks containing the Tri Kaya Parisudha character with a think talk write strategy developed in terms of content and construct validity, (2) to describe the feasibility of early childhood learning evaluation textbooks containing characters. Tri Kaya Parisudha with a think talk write strategy which was developed in terms of practical use in the classroom. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) model or research and development. Research and development is a process or scientific steps used in researching, producing or improving existing products. This development refers to the model of the Borg and Gall measures. The data that has been obtained using an instrument that has been designed and then analyzed descriptively with qualitative descriptive techniques. The quality of the product in the form of teaching materials developed must meet the feasibility of the aspects of validity and practicality. From the results of research data analysis, the conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) early childhood learning evaluation textbooks containing the value of the tri Kaya Parisudha character with thik talk write settings have met the feasibility of content validity with a score of 4.52 being in the very good category, (2) early childhood learning evaluation textbooks containing the value of the tri Kaya parisudha character with the thik talk write setting have met the practicality seen from the aspect of using time which is classified as efficient, and the student score of 3.72 is in the good category.

Abstract

This study describes the nature of learning Indonesian and to describe the application of the whole language approach in learning Indonesian in elementary schools. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. This research was conducted at the Elementary School 4 Dharmasaba. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis technique, which comprises reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions and verifying. Based on the results of interviews and document analysis conducted in the research process, it can be concluded that: (1) Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level includes listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and has been adapted on the demands of the 2013 curriculum. (2) Application of the whole approach language in Indonesian language learning has improved students' Indonesian learning outcomes, as evidenced by the increase in the average learning outcomes before and after the application of the whole language approach from 76.75 to 80.25.

Abstract

Early childhood education to develop moral potential and religious, social, emotional, independence, cognitive, language, motoric and artistic values for children's readiness connects elementary school level. Language development is one of the developments that need to be developed in early childhood. Through language that is permitted by children to translate experiences into symbols that can be used to communicate and think. Language development for kindergarten children based on reference to early childhood education standards No.58 of 2009, developed three aspects, namely accepting language, expressing language, and literacy. Whole language is a learning approach that teaches language in class or school in a whole and fun way. Learning to hear, speak, read and write is not carried out separately but is carried out together in an integrated manner in all areas of ability in kindergarten. Early childhood language development has a very close relationship with children's readiness in facing the 4.0 revolution era, because optimal child development will be able to stimulate all child development so that later when they are adults they will be ready to face the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve mathematics learning activities and outcomes in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tista in the academic year 2019/2020. Based on the results of the study, it can be explained that the average percentage of mathematics learning activities in prasiklus reached 37.18%, the average percentage of mathematics learning outcomes reached 64.18% and classical completeness reached 47.06%. After applying the STAD type cooperative learning model in the first cycle the average percentage of student learning activities increased to 58.82%, the average percentage of learning outcomes reached 74.47% and classical completeness reached 74.47%. With the improvement in cycle II the average percentage of learning activities increased to 80.08%, the average percentage of student learning outcomes increased to 82.35% and classical completeness reached 100%. Keywords: STAD type cooperative model, activities, learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in science learning outcomes of elementary school students by applying the examples non examples learning model assisted by audio visual media. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of Kubutambahan Elementary School No. 1, Kubutambah District, Buleleng Regency in the Academic Year 2019/2020 with a total of 28 students. This research is a classroom action research study consisting of two cycles. Student learning outcomes data were collected using test instruments. Research data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that learning science by applying the examples non examples learning model assisted by audio visual media can improve the learning outcomes of students with excellent predicate science. Keywords: learning models, examples non examples and audio visual, learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Project Based Learning (PjBL) methods support by visual media could increase the interest and learning achievements of science in fourth grade students of Elementary School number 1 Penatih in the academic year 2019/2020. The method of collecting data that used to this research is the test methods of collecting data on student learning achievements. Based on the result of research could explain the average percentage of student learning achievements of Social Science increased to 40% and the classical completeness increased to 30%. The use of Project Based Learning (PBL) methods support by visual media in the first cycle the average percentage of students' learning interest increased to 60%, and classical completeness reached 50%. With the improvement in cycle II the average percentage of interest in learning increased to 80%, and the classical completeness reached 85%. Abstract

This research aims to: 1) know the difference in interest in learning mathematics between students who follow the problem-based learning model with students who follow conventional learning models, 2) know the difference in mathematics learning outcomes between students who follow the problem-based learning model and students who follow conventional learning models, 3) simultaneously know the differences in learning interests and learning outcomes of mathematics between students who follow the problem-based learning model and students who follow conventional learning models. This study is a quasi-experiment with randomized post-test only control group design. The population of this study is all students in grade V elementary school, cluster XV, Buleleng district. There were 182 students, while the study sample comprised 60 students, comprising 30 students as a control group and 30 students in an experimental group. The research instrument uses questionnaires to measure interest and tests to measure students learning outcomes, which are further analyzed using one-way manova. the results showed: 1) there was a significant difference in the learning interests of students who followed the problem-based learning model with conventional learning, 2) there are significant differences in math learning outcomes that follow problem-based learning models compared to conventional learning, 3) there are differences in learning interests and math learning outcomes of students who follow problem-based learning models and conventional learning. The results of data analysis show that the application of problem-based learning models has a significant influence on students nterests and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The result of analysis in this research are as follows: 1) there is difference of learning result and social attitude of students following the learning model of value clarification techniques with lesson study setting with conventional learning. 2) The result of the influence of learning model to the learning result obtained statistical value F = 14,372 with significance level <0,05. There significant differences from student learning outcomes that follow the learning with the model of learning value clarification techniques with lesson study settings compared with those following the conventional learning. 3) The result of analysis of the influence of learning model on social attitude obtained statistical value F = 8,918 with significance level <0,05. There is a significant difference of social attitudes of students who follow the learning with value clarification techniques learning model with lesson study setting compared to those following the conventional learning. Keywords: value clarification techniques; lesson study; social attitudes; learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to compare the social studies curriculum developed in Indonesia with that of the United States. The analysis focused on the history of development, the material taught and the evaluation carried out on social studies learning. The results of the analysis show that social studies education in Indonesia and America has a different history of development, if in Indonesia it developed because of the G30/SPKI rebellion while in America it developed because of the civil war due to multiethnicity in the country. Social studies material in Indonesia is developed in an integrated manner with other subjects taught at the elementary school level, while social studies in America is theme-based. The development of social studies material in Indonesia and America was both developed with the standard 10 themes set by the NCSS. The general assessment of the social studies assessment in both Indonesia and America emphasizes three areas of competence, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies.
