Abstract

This research is aimed analyzing the problems of household waste management system in Sumedang regency, obstacles in the household waste management system, and efforts to overcome the obstacles of the household waste management system in Sumedang regency at Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan. The researcher used qualitative analysis based on descriptive method. The data were taken purposive sampling technique. Research informants by Waste Management and Gardening Division Head, Sanitation Services Section Head, Section Head of Waste Management Partnership and Development, Waste Management and Gardening Management Staff. The data were obtained through literature study and direct observation in the field. This study used Miles and Huberman’s theory with the steps: Reduction data, presentation data, Conclusion drawing/verification, and Triangulation. By using the methods above, it was found that the household waste management system is not good enought, because the soid waste management system is seen from the operationa technique to carry the transportation up to the finalstage in the landfill, the laws and reguations governing the clear waste management, inadequate activites in terms of institutional meeds of employees, the financing is still not enough and the participation of the people who are still less concerned about the waste. The obstacles in the household waste management include uneven service for all regions, lacked of staff, lack of facilities and infrastructure on waste management, the tools were broken, the cost of procurement of equipment is less, lack of maintenance costs, the people who throw garbage carelessly, dump location is very close to the residential.There were efforts to overcome these obstacles by expanding the service area, adding jobs, making good use of facilities and infrastructure, performing maintenance and quality tools, procurement of priority items, staff skills in repairing tools, repairing garbage dumps, maintaining cleanliness of dumps.

Abstract

and Building Tax (PBB-P2) payments in South Sumedang District. The method used in the preparation of this proposal is a Qualitative Research Method, with an independent variable namely Community Participation. The informants were as many as 4 people, namely the sub-district head, the head of the governance section, the UN collector, and the village head. Based on the results of interviews and data analysis, it was concluded that community participation in the payment of land and building taxes in rural and urban sectors in South Sumedang District can be said to be quite good. Constraints contained in the Land and Building Tax Payment in rural and urban sectors in the Sumedang Selatan Subdistrict are weak personal awareness, lack of information, lack of free time, and economic capacity of the community. Efforts to overcome these problems are conducting intensive socialization to the public, and the existence of clarity of information by providing online services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine, get the data data and objective information abaout Strategy for the Development of Public Service Quality in Kecamatan Sumedang Utara during the Covid-19 Pandemic. In this study, using qualitative research methods with data collection, observation steps, in-depth interviews and documentation. From this research, the results obtained are the factors that support the Quality of Public Services in the Strategy for the Development of Public Service Quality in Kecamatan Sumedang Utara during the Covid-19 Pandemic as a whole. using technology, lack of ability or skills resulting in mismatches in dealing with competency problems. Obstacles were encountered regarding the Quality of Public Services in the Strategy for Developing the Quality of Public Services in Kecamatan Sumedang Utara during the Covid-19 Pandemic, namely: in terms of budget, interest or awareness of employees, facilities, and when employees face new things, lack of funds and environmental conditions or organizational climate that is not supportive, lack of expertise in the analysis phase of a problem at hand, does not meet predetermined standards, mistakes occur if you collect data too quickly. Efforts to overcome obstacles include developing potential, training and developing continuously, using analytical techniques in problem solving, anticipating complex problems, working beyond / meeting standards, work carried out accurately according to the competence of employees in the Service Sector in North Sumedang District.

Abstract

The core of the problem in this study is to determine the effects of organizational culture on employee performance in Sumedang Selatan District Office, Sumedang Regency. This study aims to determine the implementation, correlation, and effects of organizational culture on employee performance in Sumedang Selatan District Office, Sumedang Regency. This study used a survey method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and data processing related to the problems studied namely organizational culture and employee performance. The analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis, correlation test, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The research sample used as many as 46 people, namely all civil servants in Sumedang Selatan District Office. The results of quantitative calculations were obtained based on the value of the Pearson correlation (r). It is known that the r value for the effects of organizational culture (X) on employee performance (Y) is 0.713 r table 0.290. So it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the organizational culture (X) to employee performance (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the integrated Hajj information and computerization system (SISKOHAT) in the hajj pilgrimage in Sumedang Regency. This research uses a descriptive method, which is a method of one type of research whose purpose is to present a complete picture of the social setting or what is meant by exploration and clarification of a phenomenon or social reality, by describing the variables relating to the problem and the unit understudy with the phenomenon that is tested. The informants are the Head of the Office, the Head of Haj and Umrah Services, the Hajj and Umrah Service Unit Employees, and the SISKOHAT Operators. Based on the results of the research, the effectiveness of the integrated hajj information and computerization system in organizing the hajj pilgrimage has been going well, but there are still obstacles, namely the service support factor or a network from SISKOHAT, as well as people's understanding of the system. Strategies or efforts to ensure the effectiveness of SISKOHAT in carrying out the hajj properly are as follows: holding cooperation or MOU with local governments to improve network quality, organizing education and training, technical guidance or other training to improve employee integrity, and collaborating with extension workers at KUA and KBIH to provide understanding to the community or prospective pilgrims. Suggestions put forward for the effectiveness of the SISKOHAT in organizing the hajj run well are as follows: improving the quality of the SISKOHAT network to minimize existing obstacles. Also, it is necessary to hold comprehensive socialization for the community regarding the implementation of the hajj pilgrimage in Sumedang Regency, especially regarding hajj pilgrimage services using SISKOHAT.

Abstract

Traditional market management requires a precise and measurable system given the important role of the market in supporting the local economy on the one hand, and the complexity of the problems to be faced on the other. Efforts are needed to ensure a targeted traditional market management system, among which is oriented towards the identification and stewardship of appropriate strategic issues. This qualitative research is carried out to apply a multi-perspective approach that is considered accommodative to the variety of variables, in mapping the strategic value of various problems that arise in the management of traditional markets. The research was conducted in the traditional markets of Bantarujeg, West Java and produced strategic mapping of problem groups related to administrative, financial, organizational and traditional market development.

Abstract

Interest in reading is the emergence of feelings of pleasure or strong interest that encourages individuals to carry out activities so that they do it on their own accord. Then there are attempts to do this activity repeatedly. reading is an important activity. Human civilization will not be far from this activity. Even in its history, a civilization is said to be advanced if humans at that time had the ability to read and write. Even in Islam, the first commandment to the Prophet Muhammad was to read (iqra`: read). It has also been proven, a nation with a high interest in reading becomes a nation that excels in science and technology. By reading, you can find a variety of knowledge and make discoveries in both the scientific and social fields. Based on research on reading interest, broadly speaking, there are two factors, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors generally include perceptions, motivations, and individual feelings towards reading activities. Meanwhile, external factors relate to the environment, ease of access to books, availability of facilities and infrastructure, technological developments, and even distribution of reading books. Therefore, a unique literacy is needed to support the reading culture of the community. Literacy has an important role in the life of a learning community that lives in an era that is based on current knowledge, technology, and information. Human civilization can be awakened by mastery of literacy based on reading, writing, and critical thinking activities. Literacy is a process of how a person communicates in society. In addition, literacy can also be interpreted as practice and social relations related to knowledge, language, and culture. Libraries with librarians can be used to develop a literacy culture for users in particular and society in general. With the available resources, together with stakeholders and community groups, they can innovate, create, and vary literacy-based library services. Thus the literacy culture will grow and develop.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of the management information system policy for the Silidakep application and the constraints of the implementation of the information system in North Sumedang District are able to optimize the work of employees serving the community in the field of population and civil registration. Data was collected through library and field studies including: observation, interviews, documentation studies and triangulation. Determination of the sample/informant in this study was carried out using purposive sampling. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out by referring to the technical analysis of the Miles and Huberman model, namely: data reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation), and conclusion drawing/verification (conclusions). The implementation of the policy on the use of the siladakep application at the North Sumedang District Office has been running but is still not good. This happened because of obstacles such as: (1) Lack of understanding of the siladakep application because the community had not received comprehensive socialization, (2) the community had not received comprehensive socialization, one of which was caused by most of the employees not mastering the siladakep application, (3) The lack of stability of the internet network due to the use of this siladakep application, the main element is the internet network as a supporter of access to the entry of the application. With the end of writing this report, our researchers suggest that the leadership of the North Sumedang District Office should further improve the facilities in the office, and give more attention to employees so that they are more aware of carrying out and completing their duties optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Komunikasi Internal terhadapEfektivitas Kerja Pegawai di Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Sumedang. KomunikasiInternal merupakan suatu upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan seseorang,organisasi, atau sistem dengan berdasarkan dukungan sumber daya yang ada untuk mencapai tujuanyang telah ditetapkan. Efektivitas adalah pengukuran dalam arti tercapainya indikator-indikatoryang telah ditentukan seperti sasaran, sosialisasi dan tujuan. Suatu organisasi mempunyai tujuan danorganisasi ada justru untuk melakukan aktivitas dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengantujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakanteknik analisis data deskriptif inferensial mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan data yang telahterkumpul sebagaimana adanya dengan membuat kesimpulan. Teknik sampling yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling jenuh, dengan jumlah populasi 70 orang sehinggadidapat jumlah sampel 70 orang responden.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, Komunikasi Internal berada pada kriteriaCukup Baik dengan prosentase sebesar 67,51%. Sementara itu, Efektivitas Kerja Pegawai beradapada kriteria Cukup Baik dengan prosentase sebesar 65,96%. Adapun hubungan KomunikasiInternal dengan Efektivitas Kerja Pegawai di Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Sumedang,diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar 0,45, dalam kriteria Sedang. Dan pengaruh Komunikasi Internaldengan Efektivitas Kerja Pegawai di Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Sumedang diperolehnilai koefisien Determinasi sebesar 20,00%, sisanya sebesar 80,00% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktorlain yang tidak diteliti (faktor epsilon).

Abstract

Mobile libraries are one of the programs of public libraries to serve people who are not reached or difficult to reach by public library services, considering the limitations and weaknesses of public libraries. One of the purposes of mobile library services is to provide information and science services more closely. The Regional Public Library and Archives Office of Sumedang Regency is a government facility as a service to the community, which aims to provide sources of information materials in the form of reading books and other archives. The methods used in this study are descriptive survey methods and literature studies. The descriptive method is a method that seeks to solve or answer the problems faced in the current situation. Based on the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that the quality of mobile library services at the Archives and Library Office has not been effective and efficient in meeting the needs of the community. The quality of service from the tangible aspect is the condition of the vehicle that only has 1 functioning so it is difficult to reach many areas. The quality of service from the aspect of reliability, namely scheduling in mobile library services, has not been well scheduled. Even for routine schedules have not been implemented. The quality of service from the aspect of responsiveness is that the service of librarians is not good because it does not quickly respond to the needs of visitors and cannot help visitors who have difficulty finding books optimally. The quality of service from the assurance aspect, namely the officers have not been friendly and polite, the officers have not been able to answer questions asked by visitors, and there has been no rearrangement of what book collections need to be fulfilled if making a tour visit with the aim of meeting the information needs of the people of Sumedang. The quality of service from the emphaty aspect is that officers have not been able to manage tools in the library. Officers have not been able to help visitors if they have difficulty in finding the information needed.
