Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is the most expensive asset of an organization compared to other assets because HR is the main driver of the company's organization. Human Resources also always  have  to  improve  their  competence,  along  with  the  development  of  the  era  of globalization. In order to compete with other human resources, it is required to obtain, develop, and maintain quality Human Resources. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of training on employee performance, to determine the effect of competence on employee performance, and to determine the effect of training and competence on employee performance. Data Collection Methods Data collection in this study was carried out in the following ways: Questionnaires  used  with a  Likert  scale.  The  results  obtained  that  training  has  a  positive influence  on  employee  performance.  The  significance  value  of  t  is  less  than  5%  (0.000), indicating that training (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). Thus, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, so the hypothesis which states that training has a positive influence on employee performance can be accepted. Competence has a positive influence on employee performance. From the calculation results, it is obtained that the t-count value for the competency variable. The significance value of t is less than 5% (0.000), indicating that competence (X2) has a positive and significant influence on employee performance (Y). Thus it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H2 is accepted, so the hypothesis that competence has a positive influence on employee performance can be accepted

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of auditor competence on audit quality; 2) The Effect of Auditor Independence on Audit Quality; 3) Correlation of Auditor Competence to Auditor Independence 4) Effect of Competence and Independence of Auditors together on Audit Quality. This research includes causal associative research, namely research with the characteristics of the problem in the form of a causal relationship between two or more variables. The population in this study is the Inspectorate of Sumedang Regency. Samples were taken as many as 23 auditors at the Sumedang Regency Inspectorate. Techniques Data collection is done by using the questionnaire method. The questionnaires were tested for validity and reliability before collecting research data. Prior to the analysis, the analysis prerequisite tests were carried out including linearity test, normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Analysis of the data used to test the hypothesis is to use simple regression analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed that: 1) There was a positive and significant effect of Internal Auditor Competence on Audit Quality with t count 7.856 > t table 2.093 and correlation coefficient of 0.874; 2) There is a positive and significant effect of Auditor Independence on Audit Quality with t count 4.221 > t table 2.093 and correlation coefficient of 0.696; 3) There is a correlation between Auditor Competence and Auditor Independence with a correlation coefficient of 0.629; 4) There is a positive and significant effect of Auditor Competence and Independence together on Audit Quality with F count 35.928 > F table 3.52 and the correlation coefficient is 0.894;

Abstract

In this study, the focus of research is Employee Work Communication at PT Telkom Kandatel Sumedang. The purpose of this study is to find out how work communication is at Telkom Sumedang and to find out how to improve employee work communication at Telkom Sumedang. The research method used is a qualitative research method, using a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, documentation and triangulation. To obtain information, the researchers determined three informants, including the head or head of Telkom Sumedang, sales promotions and technicians. Based on the results of this study that employee work communication at PT Telkom Sumedang is optimal but not evenly distributed. It can be seen from the readiness and alertness of each employee in carrying out their duties. Efforts to overcome so that communication is evcenly distributed, leaders must communicate more directly (face to face) with employees personally, motivate and evaluate employee performance. With the habit of communicating directly with the leadership, employees will be optimal in carrying out their work and improve the quality of communication to provide written and oral messages. Employees must also be more thorough and follow the applicable procedures.

Abstract

CV. Seven Brave is a company engaged in the convection industry, has employees who are not optimal in their work due to several things such as compensation that is not in accordance with the stipulated UMR, the absence of social security provision, etc. Based on this, this study aims to analyze work motivation and efforts to increase work motivation on CV. Seven Braves. This study uses a qualitative research method approach with the research variable is work motivation. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling technique. Research informants amounted to 8 people. The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with steps including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study that work motivation on CV. Seven Brave as a whole is quite good and has met expectations, with compensation according to company policy, giving bonuses and employee benefits that are adequate, family-friendly employee relations, good training and guidance. Attention is needed in terms of providing compensation in accordance with the stipulated UMR, and social security for workers

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate social responsibility and good corporate governance as a proxy for managerial ownership on firm value in manufacturing companies. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The samples taken were manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2016 to 2020. The total research sample was 6 manufacturing companies determined through purposive sampling. The analytical method of this study uses multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that corporate social responsibility has no effect on firm value. Good corporate governance has no significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Toga Peak Cafe Sumedang, which is located in Sukajaya - South Sumedang, approximately 5 km from Sumedang city. The method used in this study is a survey method with a verification descriptive analysis approach. The Effect of Atmosphere (Store Atmosphere) on Purchasing Decisions at Toga Pak Cafe Sumedang, shows that there is a positive relationship between store atmosphere and purchasing decisions. Store atmosphere has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions at Toga Peak Cafe Sumedang, meaning that if the store atmosphere is not considered or left unchecked, it will reduce purchasing decisions. The Effect of Store Image on Purchasing Decisions at Toga Peak Cafe Sumedang shows that there is a positive relationship between store image and purchase decisions. This means that increasing store image will increase purchasing decisions. So by increasing the superiority of characteristics or characteristics or a better store image it will influence purchasing decisions. The influence of atmosphere (Store Atmosphere X1) and Image (Store Image X2) influence Purchase decisions (Y), the path coefficient value of 0.8427 is obtained. Based on the test, it is obtained that the value of Fcount is greater than the value of Ftable, from this value it is obtained that the decision H0 is rejected, so that the Store Atmosphere variable has a significant and positive effect on the purchasing decision variable.

Abstract

The focus of this study aims to analyze how the potential for work accidents in CV. Gema Mekanika Mandiri and CV. Huda Jaya. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential for work accidents and efforts to control work accidents carried out by companies using job safety analysis in controlling the potential for employee work accidents. This type of research is a comparative research and this research method uses qualitative methods that describe the results of the analysis of potential hazards in a work process using the Job Safety Analysis worksheet. The collection of research data is carried out by making observations, interviews, documentation and filling in the job safety analysis format. While in analyzing data, researchers use the miles and huberman model method, activities in analyzing data start from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The informants in this study numbered 5 people on CV. Gema Mekanika Mandiri and 7 people on CV. Huda Jaya. The results showed that the job on CV. Gema Mekanika Mandiri and CV. Huda Jaya is a job that is at high risk of work accidents seen from indicators detailing work steps, identifying hazards, and determining control measures. Then efforts to control potential work accidents carried out on CV. Gema Mechanics Mandiri is by increasing awareness of the importance of wearing PPE on employees, increasing the number of PPE, rejuvenating employee PPE, and supervising the environment around the workshop, then on CV. Huda Jaya is by increasing awareness of the importance of wearing PPE on employees, increasing the number of PPE, rejuvenating employee PPE, ensuring the work given to employees is balanced and carrying out maintenance of electrical installations

Abstract

This study aims to find out about Marketing Communication in Building Brand Awareness at Distro Madman Wear Sumedang. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used in this research is a purvose sampling technique with research informants, owners and leaders of distributions and consumers of Madman Wear Sumedang distributions. The research was conducted using the Miles Huberman model with steps including Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Drawing Conclusions. The results of the study found that Marketing Communication in Building Brand Awareness at Distro Madman Wear Sumedang was not optimal based on the assessment of the dimensions of Marketing Communication which included (advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, public relations and word of mouth) and Brand Awareness covering (top of mind, brand recall, brand recognition, unaware of brand). The conclusion of this study for the Distro Madman Wear Sumedang is to further develop product innovation and maintain brand image and intensify marketing activities so that the Madman Wear Sumedang distribution brand can be embedded in the minds of consumers.

Abstract

Every company always has a target to make a profit. It takes the right methods and calculations to obtain these profits. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role in determining the selling price using the variable costing method and the ABC method on CV. Madani Digital Printing. After using the calculation with the determination of variable cost of goods, the expected profit can be achieved while the selling price per set is higher. The selling price per sofa set using the ABC method is lower than the variable method. CV. Madani Digital Printing has not set a precise and accurate selling price. The company's calculation method is not correct, CV Madani Digital Printing has not done it well in setting the selling price, there are marketing costs and administrative and general costs that have not been taken into account. By determining the selling price using the variable costing method, including marketing and administrative and general costs, it is proven that the expected profit can be achieved. Using the ABC method can be useful for CV Madani Digital Printing to achieve maximum profit as expected, continuous evaluation must be carried out considering that changes in material costs are very dynamic, so that in setting selling prices more precisely and competing with competitors
