Abstract

Areas with natural forest potential that are still preserved have the potential to birdwatching activities, a concept of sustainable tourism to preserve the environment and increase the participation of local communities. Protected forests in the South Malang area are natural forests which are still protected by habitat conditions for wild animals, especially for bird species. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential development of a birdwatching track based on the distribution of birds in the Protected Forest Area of Sumbermanjing Kulon KPH Malang. Make a path of observation and identify the types of birds found in protected forests. Knowing the community's response to birdwatching activities around protected forests through interviews. Data analysis was done by making a map of the distribution of maps and the potential of the observation pathway using the ArcGis 10.3 program. There are 51 species of birds with 3.4 species diversity (H ') in the high category. The potential of 22 birdwatching routes with mostly flat road conditions (59%), sloping (23%) and steep (18%). Bird species that can be found in 6 species of birds for each observation pathway. Knowledge of respondents related to the ability to recognize 3-5 species of birds 40%, recognize 70% birdwatching activities, and 83% of respondents' agree with the development of birdwatching as a tourism. Keywords: birdwatching, ecoturism, Kondang Merak, protected forest

Abstract

Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) is a common phenomenon and a frequent complaint among office workers. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), 1.7 billion people worldwide suffer from musculoskeletal disorders, with 17.3 million of them experiencing Low Back Pain (LBP). Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify the factors associated with Low Back Pain (LBP) among employees of the Jambi City Health Office. This research used a cross-sectional design with a chi-square test. A total of 99 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The variables examined included age, length of employment, physical activity (exercise), and work posture. The results showed significant associations between age (p = 0.003), physical activity (exercise) (p = 0.001), and work posture (p = 0.022) with complaints of Low Back Pain (LBP), while no significant association was found between length of employment (p = 0.546) and complaints of Low Back Pain (LBP). Age was found to have the greatest influence on complaints of Low Back Pain (LBP) (PR = 1.519), indicating that employees aged ≥ 35 years are 1.519 times more likely to experience Low Back Pain (LBP) compared to those under 35 years old

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of cultural arts learning (two-dimensional fine arts) in class XII of SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. In this study, researchers used learning theory from E. Mulyasa (2013). This type of research is qualitative. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The author made observations and then interviewed several sources. The author reviews documentation regarding the information data that the author has obtained. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The results of the research show that the implementation of cultural arts (two-dimensional fine arts) learning for class XII at SMAN 2 Pekanbaru is guided by the curriculum, syllabus and lesson plans. The curriculum used by SMAN 2 Pekanbaru in class XII is the 2013 curriculum which is implemented face to face. In preparing learning plans, arts and culture teachers are also guided by the 2013 curriculum which has been determined by the school and the syllabus is determined by the government and then adjusted to school conditions. The learning methods used are lecture, discussion, question and answer and practice methods. The media used when learning Fine Arts are worksheets (students), printed books, and the internet. The tools used by teachers in teaching and learning activities are whiteboards, markers and assessment sheets. The evaluation assessed by the Arts and Culture teacher is the completeness value of the assignment collection, knowledge value, and skills value.

Abstract

Lipophilic drugs have low water solubility and often exhibit inconsistent absorption profiles, which can lead to suboptimal therapeutic outcomes in clinical use. Lipid-based drug delivery systems have emerged as a promising and widely studied formulation strategy because they are able to significantly enhance the solubility, bioavailability, and systemic distribution of lipophilic drugs. This study aims to identify how various lipid emulsion systems modify the pharmacokinetic profile of lipophilic drugs, compare the differences in effects among different types of emulsions, and highlight the key formulation characteristics that contribute to these pharmacokinetic parameter changes. The study was conducted through a comprehensive literature review of national and international scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025. The results indicate that lipid emulsion systems modify pharmacokinetics primarily through increased drug dissolution, accelerated absorption processes, reduced first-pass metabolism, and facilitation of lymphatic transport pathways. These mechanisms consistently result in increased Cmax, AUC, and overall bioavailability. The formulation characteristics that strongly influence these outcomes include nano-sized droplet distribution, lipid type selection, surfactant and co-surfactant composition, amorphous drug form, and the physical stability of the emulsion system.
