Abstract

The title of this research was “The Efforts in Improving Students’ Learning Outcome inCultural Arts Dance Subject by Using Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) Class VII6 SMP 30 Rumbai Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau". Formulationof the problem was how to Increase Student Learning Outcomes Method Using Student TeamAchievement Division (STAS) at Subjects Cultural Arts Dance Class VII-6 SMP 30 RumbaiKecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau. This research was a type of classaction research. Based on the data that has been analyzed and in the interpretation of data, itcan be concluded that the application of the method of STAD can improve students' skills inunderstanding the pattern of the dance floor as well as demonstrating a broken swing danceclass nine VII.6 SMP Negeri 30 Rumbai Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru ProvinsiRiau school year 2014/2015. The data can be seen in the initial test before using STAD andafter using the learning method STAD first cycle and the second cycle which included theabsorption and mastery learning. Pada preliminary tests before using STAD gained 53.04%while the absorption of mastery learning 11.90% of students 5 out of the 42 students. Whenusing the learning method STAD first cycle absorption Values for quiz grades and brokenswing dance nine students rose to 64.78% and reached 33.33% completeness study that 14 of42 students. While absorption and mastery quiz on the second cycle increased to 73.30% and66.67% completeness that 28 of 42 students.

Abstract

The title of this research is "Presentation Form of Pelalawan Kingdom Dance at the Bina Tasik Studio, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province". This study aims to determine the form of presentation of Pelalawan Kingdom dance at the Bina Tasik Studio, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Pelalawan Kingdom dance uses dance movements with 5 basic dance movements, namely the salute movement, the Pangean silat movement, the rowing movement, the circular movement, and the last is the final movement. The musical instruments used to accompany the Pelalawan Kingdom dance are the long drum, kompang, gong, calempong, drum, violin, accordion and darmuka. The title of this dance is taken from a historical story about the Pelalawan Kingdom. The theme of the dance is about the feud or war between the Portuguese and the Malacca Kingdom which resulted in the Malacca Kingdom being destroyed and a new kingdom being born, namely the Pelalawan Kingdom. The type of dance is classified as a new creative dance type. The presentation mode is symbolic representational dance. The number of dancers is 11 dancers, of which 5 are male dancers and 6 are female dancers. The women's dance costume uses the kebaya tabuh shirt and the men's costume uses the Malay cekak musang shirt. The makeup of the female dancers uses beautiful makeup while the makeup of the male dancers only uses powder and eyebrows. Lighting but because this dance is danced during the day and the stage is outside the field, no light is needed. Dance properties are the door and wall of Pekan Tua, the door and wall of Pelalawan, keris and shawl. The audience was attended by school residents and invited guests.

Abstract

Kalinco Group Plate Dance in Rambah Tengah Utara Village, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The theory used by researchers in Existence is Jazuli (2016:52) which explains that there is space and time: space includes value systems, performance and events. Time includes the process of creation. The method used by researchers is qualitative research using descriptive methods, namely by collecting accurate data from sources regarding the existence of the Kalinco Group Piring Dance to improve research results and make it easier to formulate the problem. The results of this research are found in space and time. The existence of space is based on the value system in this plate dance, namely in this dance the social value of mutual cooperation is found in the movements when the two men are in the middle of the dancers. One man rides another man so that cooperation between dancers is formed. The existence of space related to the performance of this plate dance is that the performance of the plate dance begins with the dancer entering the stage with a plate on the palm of his hand. The existence in question is not a place where an object is located, but the word existence contains the meaning of the existence of an activity that is continuously carried out, so that the activity continues to run smoothly (Hanum, Ritawati and Satria, 2022). This traditional art is very closely related, especially to older people, which still survives today. Older people think that this traditional art is an art that needs to be preserved, so they hope that the traditional art of Masukkiri will survive and continue to exist, however, the younger generation thinks that Masukkiri is out of date and only for the old (Jannah, Effendi and Susanto, 2021).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the perceptions of arts and culture teachers at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras in implementing the independent curriculum in Pangkalan Kuras, Pelalawan, Riau. Based on the results obtained in the field, it can be concluded that the author raised the Perceptions of Arts and Culture Teachers at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras in Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The research used descriptive qualitative research methods. The objects of this research are: 1 Cultural Arts Teacher, Curriculum Representative, and 1 Student. The formulation of the problem in this research is: What is the perception of arts and culture teachers at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras in implementing the independent curriculum? This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The conclusions of this research are: 1. The arts and culture teacher at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras has a positive perception of the implementation of the independent curriculum because the independent curriculum can increase motivation for the teacher and the independent curriculum is also very interesting to learn, 2. The arts and culture teacher at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras has difficulty in designing teaching modules and the diversity of student opinions.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the values contained in the Kombuik Dance in Gunung Sahilan Village, Gunung Sahilan Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Regency. The results of this research conclude that the religious values contained in the Kombuik dance are the religious values contained in this dance, namely in this dance, in the middle of the dance, the dancers form a circle and recite prayers and prayers which are intended as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT has provided sustenance and the gift of health so that it can continue. Abstract

This research aims to find out extracurricular activities in dance In Increasing Student Interest at SMK Negeri 1 Kuok. The theory that researchers use is extracurricular theory. According to Suryosubroto (2013:287) extracurricular activities are additional activities outside the program structure carried out outside normal class hours in order to enrich and expand students' knowledge and abilities, and interest theory. The definition of interest is also mentioned according to Hidayat (2013 in Pratiwi 2015), is something that originates from feelings in the form of a tendency towards something, giving rise to certain actions or activities. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis, with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this research conclude that in extracurricular activities students get more material and time to learn dance. In extracurricular activities, students receive material that is different from the learning they receive in class. Therefore, extracurricular activities play a very important role in increasing students' interest in dance. These activities can increase insight or knowledge in the arts, especially dance. Students' interest in dance extracurricular activities at SMK Negeri 1 Kuok can be seen from the evaluation results of the 15 samples in this study, including all those who took part in dance extracurricular activities expressed interest.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the extracurricular dance offerings at SMK Negeri 1 Kuok T.A 2023/2024. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis, with a qualitative approach, the reason the author took this research is because this method involves directly the object being studied. The subjects in this research were 15 people, the location of this research was carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Kuok, which is on Jalan Sei Maki, Kuok sub-district, Kampar district. From the results of the analysis of findings in the field, the conclusion was drawn that the material taught in Persembahan dance. The method used in the dance extracurricular at SMK Negeri 1 Kuok was the lecture and practice method. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. Extracurricular dance facilities and infrastructure include an arts room for practice, laptops, speakers and cellphones.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out about cultural arts (dance) learning in the independent learning curriculum in class x 3 of SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses qualitative descriptive research methods. The subjects in this research were class x3 students and arts and culture teachers at SMAN 1 Base Kuras. The results of this research are that in the independent learning curriculum, teachers are no longer fixated on books, but teachers can be more creative in teaching and students are expected to be able to make new discoveries. Learning in the Independent Curriculum uses teaching modules as a guide for learning in class. In learning, teachers also make what achievements they want in that semester. In class X 3, teachers use Phase E. Based on the results of this research, it was observed that teachers were starting to be able to adapt learning activities using the independent curriculum, even though there were still difficulties in compiling teaching modules, teachers were still able to use teaching module templates that had been provided by the government for students. It was observed that students had also adapted the learning curriculum accordingly. with what is taught.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the values contained in the Rewang (kojo samo) tradition in the community of Delik Village, Pelalawan District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. This research uses the theory of Uu Hamidy (2014: 49). The method used is descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study amounted to 4 people consisting of 1 Batin Dolik (Delik Village tribal leader), 1 Delik Village customary leader, 2 Rewang members (kojo samo). The results of this study conclude that the Rewang Tradition (kojo samo) is a hereditary tradition that is preserved and considered important by the Delik Village Community because of cooperation and can help ease the burden in a celebration event activity, namely marriage. Rewang (kojo samo) tradition contains educational value, religious value, social value and tradition value. The value of education in the rewang tradition is to receive teachings that the community or the younger generation does not know in cooking. The religious value of the rewang tradition is eating together and praying (thanksgiving) for the smooth running of the wedding tomorrow. The social value of the rewang tradition is the existence of mutual help, and cooperation between the community and other communities. The value of tradition in the rewang tradition (kojo samo) is that it has become a community habit that the elders used to do until now.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain the significance of the Kombuik Dance Movement in Gunung Sahilan Village, Kampar Kiri Regency's Gunung Sahilan District. The study comes to the conclusion that each of the nine movement kinds has a distinct significance. In addition to the message conveyed by this movement, the dance's main goal is to express gratitude to Allah SWT, who has provided the local community with an abundance of sustenance through the rice harvest.
