Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to recognize letters by using letter beam media in group B children at TK IT Afta Banten. The ability to recognize improved letters is to mention letters, show letters, and connect letters. This study was conducted because there were problems in recognizing letters in group B. This study employed classroom action research and conducted collaboratively between researchers and classroom teachers. The subjects of this study were 19 students of TK IT Afta Banten. The object of research in this study is to increase the ability to recognize letters using letter beam media. The data collection technique used observation and interviews. Meanwhile, for research instrument used a checklist observation. Based on the result findings it can be concluded that the ability to recognize the letters of group B children in TKIT Afta Banten can be improved using letter beam media in the process of playing media guessing letters in children's letters are made by groups and playing alternately then the child plays according to the teacher's instructions mention letters, show letters, and connect letters. The finding of study shows that the ability of students to recognize letters improve that is in the initial conditions of 59.78%, The finding of this study shows that there is an improvement from the first cycle was 73.53%, to the second cycle was 83.42%. Abstract

Abstract: Curriculum 2013 in Indonesian Lesson of SD / MI. Law Number 20 Year 2003 on National Education System states that the curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the objectives, content, and materials pelajaranserta means used as a guideline penyelanggaraan learning activities to achieve educational goals tertentu.Kurikulum 2013 was developed based on several factors, namely the challenge eksternal.Tantangan internal and internally with regard to the achievement of educational standards refer to eight (8) National Education standards, in addition to how to strive for human resources who have the competence and skills through education so as not to be a burden. External challenges, among others, relating to globalization and other issues related to environmental issues, technological advances and information, resurrection indrustri kreatifdan cultural and educational development at the international level. Keywords: Curriculum, 2013, Lessons Indonesian SD   Abstrak : Kurikulum 2013 Dalam Bahasa Indonesia SD/MI. Undang-undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang sistem Pendidikan Nasional menyebutkan bahwa kurikulum adalah seperangkat rencana dan pengaturan mengenai tujuan, isi, dan bahan pelajaranserta cara yang digunakan sebagai pedoman penyelanggaraan kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan tertentu.Kurikulum 2013 dikembangkan berdasarkan beberapa faktor, yaitu tantangan internal dan eksternal.Tantangan internal berkaitan dengan pencapaian standar pendidikan yang mengacu kepada 8 (delapan) Standar Pendidikan Nasional, selain bagaimana mengupayakan agar sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi dan keterampilan melalui pendidikan agar tidak menjadi beban. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing loose parts–based learning media on improving pre-reading skills in children aged 4–5 years. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a control group pre-test–post-test design. The sample consisted of all students in classes B1 and B2, totaling 30 children. The study was conducted in four sessions: the first for the pre-test, the second and third for the treatment, and the final session for the post-test. The research instrument was a pre-reading skills test consisting of 20 validated items. The results showed that the experimental class, which received learning activities using loose parts media, achieved an average score of 71.96 or 72 percent, categorized as effective. In contrast, the control class, which received conventional learning without treatment, obtained an average score of 32 or 32 percent, categorized as ineffective. Hypothesis testing using the non-parametric Mann–Whitney test yielded a Z value of −4.071 with a significance level of 0.00, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, indicating that the use of loose parts media has a significant effect on the pre-reading skills of children aged 4–5 years.
