Abstract

Academic information system is a system that is urgently needed by universities to manage academic business processes. State Polytechnic of Creative Media implements SIAM as Student Information Academic System. SIAM being developed has the advantage of being able to convey more detailed information. In addition, SIAM has implemented the SSO (Single Sign On) system where this technology is in great demand, especially in very large and heterogeneous networks. In this research Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI) methods used to conduct usability test. SUMI is a rigorously tested and proven method of measuring software quality from the end user's point of view. The analysis results from SUMI will be used to improve the development of the academic system life cycle.

Abstract

Abstract

Literasi finansial sangat diperlukan untuk mendidik manusia agar sadar dan paham mengelola keuangan secara bijak. Akan tetapi, kurangnya kemampuan dalam memanajemen keuangan membuat masyarakat tidak dapat memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dan mengelola keuangan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan pembuatan aplikasi pembelajaran literasi finansial interaktif ‘Belajar Duit’ untuk Siswa SMPIT Nurul Ilmi. Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) telah digunakan sebagai metode pengembang aplikasi tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI), nilai skala pengujian yang diperoleh yaitu Efficiency 97,1; Affect 95,2; Helpfulness 96,5; Controlabillity 93,5; dan Learnability89,7. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi ‘Belajar Duit’ sangat efisien untuk membantu proses belajar mengajar di SMPIT Nurul Ilmi.

Abstract

The advancement of technology in the fields of finance and investment has encouraged companies such as HSB Investasi to offer digital services supported by advanced technological systems. This study aims to UI/UX of the HSB Investasi website through a redesign process. The development focused on aligning information and features between the website and mobile application, refining navigation structure, and enhancing information presentation to ensure better user comprehension. The applied method follows the Design Thinking approach, which includes stages such as problem identification, solution design, and interactive prototyping. Alignment between platforms was conducted to prevent user disorientation when accessing both services. A quantitative approach was employed using the SUS instrument, involving 30 respondents selected based on predetermined user segments. Initial evaluation of the previous website version yielded an average usability score of 63, which fell below the acceptable threshold. Following the redesign, the score significantly improved to 89, categorizing it as “excellent.” These findings indicate that improvements in design and cross-platform consistency contribute significantly to the optimization of user interaction comfort and clarity. The addition of onboarding features and a more intuitive navigation structure also helped new users better understand available functions. In conclusion, the implementation of the Design Thinking method proved effective in significantly enhancing the overall UI/UX quality of the HSB Investasi website.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan prototipe aplikasi laporan kinerja harian untuk Karyawan PT. Samoto Mega Teknologi menggunakan metode Design Thinking. Permasalahan muncul dari sistem pelaporan manual via WhatsApp yang tidak terstruktur, memakan waktu, dan menyulitkan pelacakan data. Metode ini dipilih karena dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan User melalui lima tahapan: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test. Data kebutuhan diperoleh melalui survei menggunakan metode convenience yang menunjukkan bahwa seluruh divisi PT Samoto Mega Teknologi menilai sistem saat ini tidak efisien. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dikembangkan konsep aplikasi dengan flowchart menggunakan Draw.io serta desain dan prototipe melalui Figma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe yang dirancang dapat mengoptimalkan proses pelaporan kinerja, meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi tim, serta menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan aplikasi secara penuh di masa mendatang
