Abstract

Financial technology (fintech) is a technological development in the financial sector since industrial revolution 4.0 begun. Fintech models is ranging from crowdfunding, peer to peer lending, investment management, payment, market aggregator. The paper argue that finctech is becoming daily lifestyle in urban area. The paper is tested acceptance of fintech as a payment method of 400 rural respondents Boyolali. By united theory of acceptance and use of technology, the study revealed that the variable values of performance expectations, social factors, facilitating conditions show an alpha value of less than 0.05 and the significance value indicates an adequate category, so the results show a relationship with user acceptance, while the effort expectation variable shows an alpha value of more than 0.05 and the significance value is included in the very weak category so that there is no effect on user acceptance. In the test results the moderating variable of experience can strengthen the relationship between social factor variables and conditions that facilitate user acceptance, but the moderating variable cannot strengthen the business expectation variable

Abstract

The development of Islamic financial industries, especially Islamic Banking in Indonesia, needs the contribution of educational institution in creating professional in the field. There are two categories of education in Indonesia, formal and non-formal education. In formal education, Islamic economics education taught in higher education since 1990s followed by primary and secondary education who pioneered by Tasikmalaya’s government in West Java since 2006. In non-formal education, Islamic economics education taught in Pesantren since 16 centuries in the old fashion called fiqh muamalah. However, this study find that Pesantren Sidogiri, the oldest non-formal and traditional Islamic educational institution in East Java has launced in Islamic Economics program since 2005 in the new fashion but still maintaining old tradition eg. teaching materials from kitab kuning, and others. Pesantren Sidogiri creating new educational program called “muamalah program”. In this program, santri trains in modern economic sistem called Islamic economics. The choise of developing education program is based on the need of the community where the pesantren operates. The curriculum developed by Pesantren based own initiative under supervision of tarbiayah wa taklim madrasiy board where subjects are different and not follow the national curriculum as public schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

Surakarta has a very diverse tourist potential. As a Muslim-majority country, Islamic attributes are thought to be influential in increasing tourist visits. Therefore, this study aims to explain how Islamic attributes, quality of service, destination image and tourist loyalty influence tourism in Surakarta. The type of research used is quantitative research with a random sample of 200 respondents from a population using simple random sampling techniques. The data collection was carried out using questionnaires that were distributed directly at some tourist points in Surakarta. Data analyzed using the Smart Partial Least Square model. In addition, Islamic attributes directly influence the image of tourist destinations in Surakarta with a t-statistic of 4,586 and a p-value of 0,000. The quality of service from tourism has a direct influence on the picture of the tourist destination in the city of Surakarta, with a statistic of 7,278 and p- value of 0.000. Furthermore, the Islamic Attribute directly influences the loyalty of tourists who have visited it with the statistic t-values of 4,072 and 0,000, and the quality of the service directly affects tourist loyalty so that tourists want to make a return visit with the t-static value of 3,236 and the p- value of 0.001. The Islamic destination attribute frequently seen and heard by the public in connection with tourism in Surakarta directly influenced tourists' loyalty with statistical values of 3,567 and p - value of 0,000. This study successfully proved that destination image variables, Islamic attributes, quality of service, and loyalty of tourists play an important role in halal tourism of the city of Surakarta as well as tourists who will visit or tourists that will make repeated visits.
