Abstract

Peneilitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dan tanggapan siswa terhadap model pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan konvensional. Metode penelitian menggunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-posttest Kontrol Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Insafuddin Banda Aceh. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas X1 dan X2 berjumlah 60 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan pretes, postes dan angket. Analisis data mengunakan uji t. Tanggapan siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada kedua kelas dengan thitung = 2,292 dan ttabel = 1,645. Berdasarkan data angket memperlihatkan bahwa siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, bersikap positif terhadap pembelajaran biologi pada materi jamur (fungi). Tanggapan siswa terhadap model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa serta meningkatnya kemampuan melakukan analisis terhadap permasalahan yang telah diidentifikasi setiap kelompok.

Abstract

The study, entitled “Application of  Picture and Picture with  power point  media to improve student learning outcomes on human Digestion Food in the Elementary School 54 Banda Aceh’ was caried out on August to September 2013 at SDN 54 Banda Aceh. This study aimed to determine the increase student learning outcomes in V class  through the application of Picture and Picture with  Power Point  media to Improve Student learning outcomes on human Digestion Food in the Elementary School 54 Banda Aceh’. The methode used in this study is experimental with Pretest-postest control group design. Data were obtained from the administration of pretest and posttest at the end of the lesson. Analysis of the data using the t test. The statistical results showed that the value of the t-test was 4,21 then t count t-table of 1.645. The conclusion of this study was application of picture and picture with power point media was increased student learning outcomes than using convensional method

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the types of plants is utilized by the society in Pidie for skin disease drug. Data collected by Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and purposive sampling. Research object are tuha peut, healer, adolescents: 17-20 years, adults: 21-40 years, and the elderly: 60 years. The data were analyzed descriptively. Parameters measured were the types of medicinal plants, how to use medicinal plants. The result showed 57 species of plant are classified into 37 parts used as drug by the people of Pidie. The conclusion of this research is the species of plant most widely used as drug by the society of Pidie based on famili of Anacardiaceae and Euphorbiaceae.
