Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the final grade assessment items in the odd semester of Arabic for fifth-grade students at MI Kebomlati Tuban for the 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data in this study were obtained through question sheet documents and answers to the fifth-grade students of MI Kebomlati Tuban and were analyzed using formulas according to classical test theory (CTT) by using test validity based on the difference in power, the level of difficulty, and the question fraud. The results of this study are: (1) the results of the different power test show that there are 2 items with very good quality of difference, 19 good items, 7 medium items and 7 other items that do not have different power, even 1 of them has a value negative. So that the 7 items cannot be used; (2) at the level of difficulty, 9 items were found in the "difficult" category, 19 items were in the "medium" category and 14 items were in the "easy" category; (3) As for the quality of distractors in the final assessment questions of this semester, on average, they function well. Keywords: Questions, Question Quality, Evaluation, Arabic Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis butir soal penilaian akhir semester ganjil (PAS) mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab siswa kelas V di MI Kebomlati Tuban Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui dokumen lembar soal dan jawaban siswa kelas V MI Kebomlati Tuban, dan dianalisis menggunakan rumus-rumus sesuai teori tes klasik (TTK) dengan menggunakan validitas tes berdasarkan daya beda, tingkat kesukaran, dan pengecoh soal. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) hasil uji daya beda menunjukkan terdapat 2 butir soal dengan kualitas daya beda sangat baik, 19 butir soal baik, 7 butir soal sedang dan 7 butir soal lainya tidak memiliki daya beda, bahkan 1 soal diantaranya bernilai negatif. Sehingga 7 butir soal tersebut tidak dapat digunakan; (2) pada tingkat kesukaran ditemukan terdapat 9 butir soal masuk dalam kategori “sukar”, 19 butir soal dengan kategori “sedang” dan 14 butir soal dalam kategori “mudah”; (3) adapun kualitas pengecoh dalam soal penilaian akhir semester ini rata-rata berfungsi dengan baik. Abstract

This study aims to describe the satisfaction of PKPBA students with the use of the WhatsApp platform in learning Arabic. The Learning Arabic PKPBA consist of Istima’ Learning, Kalam Learning, Qiroah Learning, Kitabah Learning Mufradat Learning and Tarakib Learning. This research uses descriptive statistical analysis method in processing the data. The population of this research is PKPBA students who are at the Faculty of Humanities UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, amounting to 400. Researchers took 61 students as samples of this study. The results of this study indicate that the satisfaction of PKPBA students towards learning Arabic using WhatsApp is very high. Maharah Istima's learning got a satisfaction score of 52.8%', Kalam got a satisfaction score of 60.8%, Qiroah got a satisfaction score of 57.1%, Kitabah got a satisfaction score of 56.1%, Mufradat got a satisfaction score of 31.2% and Tarakib got satisfaction value 53.3%.

Abstract

Purpose- The purpose of this research is how to integrate in Qawaid Learning at Ma'had Insan Qurani Aceh Besar in learning objectives, teaching materials, teaching methods, and learning evaluations. Design/Methodology/Approach- This research uses a qualitative approach by using the form of a case study. The data sources in this study were the principal, deputy head of the learning section, and Arabic language teachers specifically for qawaid lessons. The data collection techniques used by the researcher were in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. While the instruments used are interview and observation guidelines, data analysis is data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display). Findings- The result of the research is that the Qur'anic people have well integrated qawaid learning both in learning objectives, teaching materials, teaching methods, and learning evaluations. Research Limitation/Implications- Researcher has not revealed things related to students' understanding of qawaid learning with an integrative curriculum, therefore researchers and observers of Arabic learning can continue research on various aspects relevant to this research, such as examining the correlation of qawaid understanding with understanding of Arabic reading texts.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu unsur terpenting dalam pendidikan, evaluasi dapat memberikan informasi tentang berhasil atau tidaknya pencapaian tujuan yang telah direncanakan. Guru biasanya belum menganggap serius kegiatan ini, sehingga menyusun perangkat penilaian dalam evaluasi masih belum melakukan langkah-langkah pengembangan perangkat sebagaimana mestinya, yaitu memperbaiki butir-butir pertanyaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merekomendasikan soal tes unsur bahasa yang terdiri dari bunyi, kosa kata, dan struktur kalimat berdasarkan tingkatan siswa kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metodologi penelitian dengan mengacu pada surat laporan Dirjen Pendidikan Agama Islam No. 3211 tahun 2022 bahwa persiapan ujian unsur kebahasaan dilakukan melalui 1) Menetapkan tujuan penilaian tes bunyi, kosa kata, dan struktur kalimat. 2) Menentukan substansi unsur kebahasaan dengan memperhatikan gramatikal mashdar sharih. 3) Pemilihan materi yaitu tentang Pekerjaan. 4) Menentukan bentuk pertanyaan yang terdiri dari menentukan bunyi kata, menentukan kalimat dan perbedaan kata, menampilkan jawaban singkat, jawaban gambar yang dilakukan secara tertulis. 5) Menetapkan pengaturan soal tes dengan pembagian 30% mudah, 40% sedang, dan 30% sulit. 6) Penyusunan kisi-kisi. 7) Menuliskan soal tes dengan bahasa yang jelas, lugas, tidak rancu, dan menitikberatkan pada inti permasalahan yang dimaksud.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discussesed about the importance of vocabulary analysis in multiple choice, because look at the facts occur, the teacher was asked questions only based on the book without considering whether a different strength, level of difficulty or deceptive force. The purpose of this study was to analyzed in the form of the differential power, difficulty and the deceptive power found among the students of the second grade-A at Khairuddin High School Gondanglegi Malang. This research uses a mixed research method. Data collection methods using documentation and data analysis using content analysis techniques. Data sources in this study are primary data sources in the form of documents on the results of student assessments and secondary data sources in the form of supporting references from research articles and related books. The results of this study are: 1) The discriminatory power of 60% is very low and 40% is low, medium and difficult category must be reviewed but the difficulty without be reviewed. 2) The difficulty level of the questions is 46.66% easy, 26.66% medium, 26.66% difficult. 3) The deceptive power, there was 16 options that were accepted so that they could be used immediately without review. Abstract

This research aimed to develop an Arabic language book for students of the Islamic Economics Department at the State Islamic Institute of Curup, based on economic purposes with a contextual approach. The model for teaching the Arabic language that had been used by the lecturer was found to be ineffective, as it did not integrate language and economic subject matters. Based on research on contextualized language learning, the researcher investigated the effectiveness of a contextual approach in teaching Arabic language to students in Islamic economics. This study aimed to answer the following research questions: how to develop an Arabic language book based on economic purposes with a contextual approach for students of the Islamic Economics Department at the State Islamic Institute of Curup? What is the impact of the Arabic language textbook on students' Arabic language competencies based on economic purposes with a contextual approach for the students of the Islamic Economics Department at the State Islamic Institute of Curup, Bengkulu? The research hypotheses suggested that the Arabic language book based on economic purposes with a contextual approach would effectively promote students' competencies in the Arabic language. This study sought to develop the aforesaid book with an experimental design to measure its impact. The results showed that the use of the Arabic language book significantly improved students' Arabic language skills and that the use of lesson materials accompanied by a dictionary was effective. This study provides insights into the importance of a contextual approach in teaching Arabic language to students in specific fields, such as Islamic economics.

Abstract

Based on Peter Newmark's translation methodology theory, this study aims to identify and classify the accuracy of the use of diction in the novel Al-Lis} wa al-Kila>b. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this research type. Reading techniques, document analysis, and sampling were used to collect data. Meanwhile, data is being analysed at the following stages: 1) identify and classify the original text based on the translation method, then compare the diction with the translated text, and 2) analyse and provide reasons for the translated text's incompatibility with the original text. The results showed that the most appropriate translation method to use in this novel is one that favours the target language, because translation methods that favour the source language have some diction inaccuracies. The original text's source language contains a style of language that cannot be interpreted lexically but must be interpreted contextually. The study's implication is to improve the reader's understanding of the author's intended message. مستخلص تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد وتصنيف دقة استخدام الإلقاء في رواية "اللص والكلاب" استنادا إلى نظرية بيتر نيومارك في منهجية الترجمة. يستخدم هذا النوع من الدراسة منهجا نوعيا وصفيا. يتم تنفيذ تقنيات جمع البيانات من خلال تقنيات القراءة وتحليل المستندات وأخذ العينات. وفي الوقت نفسه، يتم تحليل بيانات من خلال المراحل التالية: 1) تحديد النص الأصلي وتصنيفه بناء على طريقة الترجمة، ثم مقارنته بإملاء النص المترجم، 2) تحليل وتقديم الأسباب المتعلقة بعدم توافق النص المترجم مع النص الأصلي. أظهرت النتائج أن أنسب طريقة ترجمة مستخدمة في هذه الرواية هي الطريقة التي تفضل اللغة المستهدفة، حيث توجد بعض الأخطاء في استخدام الإلقاء كطريقة من طرق الترجمة لصالح اللغة المصدرية. تميل اللغة المصدرية في النص الأصلي إلى احتواء نمط من اللغة لا يمكن تفسيره معجميا، بل يجب تفسيره في السياق. الآثار المترتبة على هذه الدراسة هي زيادة فهم القارئ للرسالة التي يقصدها المؤلف. الكلمات المفتاحية: تحليل الإملاء؛ طرق الترجمة؛ اللص والكلاب؛ بيتر نيومارك

Abstract

This study analyzed the grains of Arabic for the final assessment of the semester in the Pantoktan Pesantren Al Yasini Pasuruan. The grain of analysis is called a double option amounts to 50 items. This analysis aims to know the characteristics of good tests based on validity, differentness, casting rate, and difficulty level. This research is quantitative research whose data analysis is presented in descriptive. The result of the item grains is said to be 100% valid and divided into three easy, moderate, and difficult categories. In addition, the letters of Arabic are also analyzed by the power to know the difference in leaf ability, so obtained five categories are ugly, enough, well, very good, and inappropriate. In addition to analyzing the matter, this study also analyzed the pattern of answers as a castled rate that the result of 144 options may be loaded and the remaining six may not

Abstract

Evaluation in teaching is one of the important aspects that an educator must do. Evaluation is a benchmark for the success of achievement in planned learning. The process consists of obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting data about the learning process and student learning outcomes. This research aims to provide alternative recommendations for language element test questions consisting of sounds and vocabulary based on the level of Madrasah Aliyah according to the stages of preparing valid and correct tests. This research aims to recommend language element test questions consisting of sounds, vocabulary, and sentence structure based on class levels at Madrasah Aliyah. The steps for writing question items include (1) determining basic competencies, (2) material selection, (3) making indicators, (4) compiling grids, (5) compiling draft questions, (6) reviewing tests, and (7) finalizing. In this article, researchers only write five stages, divided into three simple steps: determining basic competencies and materials, making indicators and compiling test grids, and drafting tests

Abstract

This research intended to find out: 1) indicators of disciplinary attitude assessment, 2) assessment techniques discipline attitude at Al-Irsyad Tengaran Islamic Boarding School 7 Batu City, 3) efforts in instilling the values of discipline to the students at Al-Irsyad Tengaran Islamic Boarding School 7 Batu City. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative research methods. The data sources used by researchers in this study were school principals, heads of curriculum sections, Arabic subject teachers and students at Al-Irsyad Tengaran Islamic Boarding School 7 Batu City. The research results are: 1). There are 10 indicators for discipline attitudes assessment, 2) the assessment technique is carried out by the teacher for each subject in each note, but based on predetermined indicators. 3) inculcating the value of discipline including; a) the teacher and the pesantren always invite and guide the students to be on time, b) the teacher and the pesantren always invite the students to always maintain good and polite speech, c) the teacher and the pesantren also always appeal to all the students to can maintain neatness, especially in dressing, d) teachers in class has an obligation to the students to provide motivation and advice related to the importance of instilling discipline in carrying out activities
