Abstract

Zeolite based silica rice husk has been prepared and analyzed with thermal treatment 150 °C, 250 °C, and 350 °C. This research was conducted to study the effect of thermal treatment with a variety temperature to particle size and electrical conductivity of zeolite. In thermal treatment at 350 °C was obtained the smallest particle size, amounted to15,396 μm, meanwhile the highest electrical conductivity values was obtained at 250 °C,amounted to 1,5540x10-4 S/cm. This is caused by the phase structure changes and particle agglomeration. Based on the result of electrical conductivity values, zeolite is included in semiconductor and has a potential as a supercapacitor electrode.

Abstract

Synthesis and characterization of cordierite-based rice husk silica has been conducted byMgO 0, 10, and 15wt%.Preparation of cordierite usesilica rice husk, MgO,and Al2O3. Silica were extracted byalkalis method using1,5% NaOH solution and 10% HNO3. The samples were sintered at temperature of 1250°C. The characteristics of structure were analysed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) coupled with Rietveld analysis and microhardness tester. XRD result showed the presences are cordierite, spinel, and forsterite. The increasing MgO of sample has made cordierite to be dissapeared, and the mass fraction spinel decreased while forsterite was increasing. The result of measurement showed that the addition of MgO on cordierite reduced hardness as well as increased porosity.

Abstract

The synthesis of zeolite based rice husk silica by using sol-gel method with heat treatment 450 oC, 550 oC, dan 650 oC has been investigated. This research was conducted to study the effect of particle size and pore size to specific surface area of zeolit. The characteristics of samplewere observed byX-Ray Difraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and specific surface area with Branauer Emmet Teller (BET). The research result showed that the structure was amorf with cristobalite, corundum, and delta-Al2O3 phase. The heat treatment of 450 °C showed the smallest particle size amounted to 16,322 μm and the largest pore size amounted to 5,786 μm with the highest specific surface area amounted to 216,250 m2/g, so it is potential to be used as a supercapacitor electrode.

Abstract

Telah dibuat sistem kontroler laju aliran massa dari sprayer menggunakan metode pulse width modulation. PWM digunakan sebagai sinyal kontrol solenoid valve dimana didapatkan hasil bahwa pengaturan nilai frekuensi dan duty cycle untuk aktuator dapat mengendalikan keluaran aliran massa sprayer secara presisi. Dalam percobaan didapatkan bahwa perubahan duty cycle untuk frekuensi tetap berbanding lurus terhadap laju aliran massa output sprayer dengan koefisien determinasi R2=1,00
