Abstract

This research was conducted on community service through professional teacher training activities at MTs Islamiyah Gunting Saga aims to: (1) know the context of professional teacher training in MTs Islamiyah Gunting Saga, (2) know the input of professional teacher training in MTs Islamiyah Gunting Saga, (3) know the process of training professional teachers in MTs Islamiyah Gunting Saga, (4) know the professional teacher training products in MTs Islamiyah Gunting Saga. This research was conducted using cipp model program evaluation method (Context, input, process, and product). Data collection is done by interviewing techniques, observations and documentation. Guarantee the validity of data using triangulation (cross-examination), both triangulation between methods and between informants. While the analysis techniques are carried out with data reduction, data exposure and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are four, namely: (1) analysis of the context of professional teacher training in MTs Islamiyah is the realization of the MOU between STIT Al Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara and Madrasah Islamiyah Gunting Saga, because there are still many MTs Islamiyah Gunting Saga teachers who have not PLPG / PPG, and the need for continuous teacher training after certification, (2) input analysis of professional teacher training of doctoral qualified trainers, providing teaching materials in the form of power points, there is the provision of insight expansion reading books, explaining the purpose of training, (3) analysis of the professional teacher training process there is the opening of the event, madrasah leadership speech, and STIT Al Ittihadiyah, forming a class format (U) to facilitate dialogue, there are assistant coaches, and moderators, there are, (4) analysis of training products attitude to training is very positive, the importance of completing the facilities / infrastructure of active learning, the expectation of increased teacher incentives , participants get certificates and expectations of continuous training.

Abstract

The school climate, namely the principal of the madrasa, making the academic stages of organizing the curriculum developed in the form of an organization, namely the subject curriculum, field of study curriculum and local content curriculum. management of facilities and infrastructure can be said to be good, where related parties such as teachers are involved at this stage. In addition, the head of the madrasa at this stage conducts a needs analysis aimed at the effectiveness and efficiency of facilities and infrastructure. The supervision carried out by the head of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Hakimiyah Paringgonan has been carried out well, but there are some teachers who do not know the standards of supervision carried out and there are no strict sanctions against teachers who violate the rules.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to see how the planning and arrangement of education based on the value of deliberation at MIN 3 Central Tapanuli in realizing the Tahfidz Al-Quran generation in the era of globalization. This research uses descriptive qualitative. This is done to be able to describe the decisions taken in realizing the Tahfidz Al-Quran generation. The author uses three stages of data analysis: data analysis before in the field, data analysis in the area, and data analysis after completion in the field. To test the validity of the data, it is done in three ways, namely triangulation, member check, and doing a detailed description. The study results provide answers that: 1) The Planning Stage of the MIN 3 Tapanuli Tengah School uses organization, forum, structure, function, and mechanism so that planning and supervision have clear standards and goals. 2) Planning Preparation Stage in improving the quality of education at MIN 3 TAPTEG, the Principal communicates to embrace all stakeholders in this madrasa, including the leadership staff, namely by opening communication to anyone. 3) Realizing the Tahfidz Al-Quran Generation in the Era of Globalization, the school uses three methods: Semaan, reading together, and sorongan.

Abstract

The implementation of the Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School Curriculum in improving quality at the Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Islamic Boarding School in Medan aims to find out the structure of the Islamic boarding school curriculum and its implementation in the madrasa. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, which is to explore data related to the implementation of the pesantren curriculum in the learning process at Madrasah Tsanawiyah and describe the data according to the focus of the study to clarify the purpose of the research. The problem discussed in this paper is how the pesantren curriculum and its implementation in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Medan Islamic School. The results found that structurally the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Medan implemented two curricula, the pesantren education curriculum and the ministry of religion curriculum. The pesantren education curriculum is divided into two curricula. The first is not related to Arabic grammar such as the Qur'an, Hadith, and Morals, this is called the pesantren curriculum. Whereas subjects such as nahwu and sharaf are included in the Arabic curriculum. In implementing the pesantren education curriculum it is not much different from the curriculum of the Ministry of religion. Those who teach the pesantren education curriculum are competent teachers who have special qualifications in the field of religion and all the teachers are pesantren alumni. The method used in learning boarding school education material is to use bandongan and sorogan methods which are carried out classically. The evaluation method used is evaluation with written and practical examinations

Abstract

Da'wah Islamiyah is the education of Islamic values which is taught through oral, written, and behavior or actions. To that end, Al-Ittihadiyah has responded to the need for da'wah cadres as “Islamic educators” in society by training the younger generation in training activities for young da'i. This paper aims to analyze the role of the DPW Al-Ittihadiyah in fostering young da'i in North Sumatra. The data were collected by means of interview techniques, observation, and documentation review. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using reduction techniques, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data validity was tested through triangulation and member check. The results of this study indicate that the role of Al-Ittihadiyah in fostering young preachers in North Sumatra has been carried out well through preachers' training every year since 2017. This is indicated by 3 aspects, namely (1) input in the form of efforts to produce young preachers. AlIttihadiyah through youth preachers training, (2) a process in the form of training activities with Islamic da'wah practices and materials for 3x24 hours, and (3) the output in the form of delegating young preachers to the Tanah Karo area for 7x24 hours.

Abstract

In actual quality, manufacturers show that quality has a system, which can be called a quality assurance system, that allows the production wheel to consistently produce products according to certain standards or specifications. Thus a product is said to be of high quality as long as the product is consistent with the demands of the maker. Meanwhile, in terms of perceived quality, quality is defined as something that satisfies or exceeds customer desires. In this case, it is the customer who determines or evaluates a quality product or service. This study aims to obtain information about Teacher's Perception of Academic Quality Improvement Based on Management Information Systems at SD Negeri 067240 Tembung in terms of aspects: quality and management information systems. This type of research is descriptive research. The population of this study were all 11 teachers at SD Negeri 067240 Tembung. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected by observation and interviews with teachers and staff at the school. The results showed that: 1. Teachers' perceptions of improving the quality of education at SD Negeri 067240 Tembung were considered weak. The number of those who complain that they are not capable and lack of expertise makes the quality of education in these schools decline. 2. Teachers' perceptions of using Management Information Systems in schools are also considered weak. Some senior teachers who only rely on school operators make the information system not run as smoothly as it should

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of school principals in improving the quality of graduates at MTs Pesantren Dairi.The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and document studies. The data analysis technique was carried out through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.The results of the study found that: 1) Planning for improving the quality of madrasas at MTs Pesantren Dairi was carried out by the head of the madrasa through deliberation by involving other madrasa components with the aim of building commitment and responsibility so as to produce performance for leaders, teachers and education staff in terms of achievement and quality of graduates. 2) Organizing resources in improving the quality of graduates at MTs Pesantren Dairi, carried out by dividing the duties of staff, leaders, teachers and education personnel to carry out their respective main tasks and functions so that individual, unit/field and madrasa performance is achieved as expected. 3) The implementation of the graduate quality improvement program runs according to procedures that refer to the goals and graduate standards set by the madrasa management and is realized through three main programs that serve as work guidelines, namely strengthening tahfiz juz 30, developing superior classes, and strengthening student worship. 4) Supervision of improving the quality of graduates at MTs Pesantren Dairi shows that supervision is carried out through supervision, monitoring and evaluation by involving elements of the leadership and staff of the madrasa leadership in this pesantren to ensure the achievement of goals effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Education policy is one of the determinants of an organization in determining the educational goals. Al-Washliyah is one of the largest Islamic organizations in North Sumatera that has many educational institutions whose role is to help to educate the community. A good educational managementthrough the strategic policies will produce the good graduates. The role of the Al-Washliyah Educational Council in making curriculum development policies for Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) in North Sumatera is very urgent. One of the determinants of the success of the objectives of Islamic education at the Al-Washliyah educational institutions is the policy of developing Madrasah AliyahAl-Washliyah curriculum taken by the Al-Washliyah Educational Council. The Al-Washliyah Educational Council policy in developing Islamic education curriculum was by establishing the implementation of the policies in the form of Decree. Among the strategic policies taken by the Al-Washliyah Educational Council were the Al Washliyah curriculum, Al-WashliyahEducationsl System (SPA), the Diniyah Curriculum and additionalcurriculum for Islamic Religion subject. The purpose of this study was to find out how the characteristics of the Al-Washliyah Educational Council policies in developing Madrasah Aliyah Curriculum in North Sumatera.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the communication of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers during distance learning and the inhibiting factors.The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological method. The research location is at SD IT Al-Kaffah Binjai which is located at Jl. Jamin Ginting No. 35, district. South Binjai, North Sumatra Province. The research was conducted in September-December 2020. The main data sources of the research are informants, while the secondary data sources are documents (archives, learning tools, and others). Collecting data using interview, observation, and document techniques. Interviews were addressed to teachers and students as informants. The data validity technique used is source triangulation. The data analysis technique used is Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. The stages of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis carried out are as follows: 1) Reading and re-reading; 2) Initial notes; 3) Developing Emergent themes; 4) Searching for connections across emergent themes; 5) Moving the next case; and 6) Looking for patterns across cases.The results of the study indicate that the activity of communicating learning through distance has been running quite effectively but in its implementation it is still not optimal as a whole and evaluation and solutions are needed to be able to improve the process of distance learning activities running more efficiently.
