Abstract

Adolescence is one of the transitional periods of human development, where a person cannot be called an adult but no longer a child. The biggest users of online games in Indonesia are teenagers, where for teenagers playing online games is not a strange thing. pleasure and fun when playing games causes feelings of helplessness or inability to stop playing online games, so that in the end it affects other activities that are usually done daily. Knowing the effect of cognitive behavior therapy on online game addiction in adolescents at SMAN 7 Bulukumba in 2020 ". The design in this study is quantitative using research design, pre and post control group design, the sample of this study was 34 respondents who were divided into 2 groups (experimental and control), where the experimental group was given cognitive behavior therapy and the control group as a comparison. . The results of the analysis using the paired T test statistical test with a level of confidence (α = 0.05). Based on the results of this test. It was found that the p value in the experimental group was 0.000 and the p value in the control group was 0.163. So Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of cognitive behavior therapy on online game addiction in adolescents at SMA Negeri 7 Bulukumba in 2020, researchers suggest that more attention is needed to adolescents who are addicted to online games so as not to cause harm in the future.

Abstract

The current phenomenon shows how social media presents a variety of interesting applications that focus on the existence of its users from various kalanagn. Currently, social media is the most popular of various calendars, especially children, namely Tik-Tok with download data of 63.3 million users, where humans are supported by their character, making individuals have to establish social relationships with the community and social environment. Individual character is defined as behavior that is done consciously so as to form a pattern of habits.. The purpose of this study was to find out the relationshipof Tik-Tok social media use with Character in grade VII junior high school children in MTsN 2 Bulukumba.. In accordance with the problem of descriptive research correlation research methods used in this study are quantative research methods with retrospective cohort research design types that are modifications of cohort design. This design is used to determine the relationship between independent variables (risk factors) and dependent variables (outcomes) based on time travel across from the identification of risk factors to the occurrence of outcomes, but all events occurred in the past (retrospective). The study sampled 48 respondents. The data analysis in this study used the Chi-Square test. . With the statistical test used chi-square test obtained a value p : 0.449 which means there is no correlation or relationship of social media use Tik-Tok with character in children of middle age.. The conclusion of this study is the influence of tik-tok social media use on the character of junior high school age children in grade VII in MTsN 2 Bulukumba Bulukumbat district in 2021. Researchers suggest that the results of this study can be used as a reference to apply in the scope of nursing, especially for the character of children.

Abstract

Nonadherence to taking medication in older people with hypertension is a serious problem in the management of this health condition. This study aims to identify factors associated with nonadherence to taking medication in older people with hypertension. The study used descriptive quantitative methods with a cross-sectional approach. Purposive sampling technique with Chi-Square statistical test. The results found the relationship between adherence to hypertension medication with education level, a p-value of 0.297, ease of access to health services, a p-value of 0.297, motivation to seek treatment, a p-value of 0.014, family support, p-value of 0.201, support of health workers p-value of 0.595. It can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between education level, family support, and health worker support, and there is a significant relationship between access to health services and motivation with adherence to taking medication in older people with hypertension. However, of course, analysis is needed related to these factors. Effective treatment must consider each patient's social, economic, psychological, and cultural conditions. Health education, social support, and cooperation between patients, doctors, and health workers can help improve adherence rates in treating hypertension in the elderly. This effort is important to prevent serious complications that can arise due to non-compliance in taking medication.
