Abstract

System Information Geographical (SIG) in one of based information system for storing, managing, and analzing, aw well as retrieving geograpchical referenced data that develope rapidly in the last five years.in this research, reseachers will build a geographical information system appllication for industrial work practice bby utilyzing location mapping to facilitate students in conducting and obtaining information about industrial work practices that is determined by SMK Methodist Medan. In the development of this system the research wil use some tods and programming languange such as Vscode as a text editor, PHP as programming language MySql as a database for data storage and googlemaps to help display map and live location in this research later student will easily get an information about industrial work practice at SMK Methodist Medan.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to design an Android-based customer complaint service application for PDAM Tirtanadi Medan Denai Branch, enhancing customer service efficiency and responsiveness to complaints. Methods: A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, gathering data through direct observation, interviews with customers and administrators, and a literature review. The system development process followed stages including system requirements analysis, design, code generation, testing using black-box methods, and support for maintenance. Results: The resulting application enables rapid, accessible complaint submission for users, providing an effective alternative to traditional call center services and significantly reducing response times for issues such as water quality and meter failures. Novelty: This research contributes an innovative approach for water utility companies in Indonesia by incorporating mobile technology to facilitate 24-hour, location-independent access to complaint services, enhancing service transparency and community satisfaction.

Abstract

Information technology is used in the data processing process which includes processing, obtaining data, compiling data, storing data and manipulating data in various ways so as to present qulity information, namely information that is accurate, relevant and timely. One example of a field that has benefit greatly from the development of science and information technology is the field of education. There are quite a lot of benefits from using information and communication technology in the word of education, both for teaching and learning purposesand for school administration management purposes. Website based school administration payment information system to provide effective and efficient solutions to overcome school payment management problems. This research aims to build applications for students and financial departemens in the digital payment process at school. By using this applications, it is hoped that the tuition payment process can be carried out quickly, accurately and safely. The research method applied in this thesis is to use the waterfall method, which is software development that uses sequential and systematic stages, such as a waterfall flowing from top to buttom. The conclusion is that admin (administration), school principals, and students can log in to the website using their respective usernames and passwords provided by the admin.

Abstract

Salah satu tugas utama seorang dosen adalah sebagai pendidik profesional yang berkualitas. Hal tersebut dapat terlaksanakan jika dosen memiliki kinerja yang optimal agar memenuhi standar kompetensi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan perguruan tinggi dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten. Maka, evaluasi kinerja perlu dilaksanakan guna mengetahui tingkat kompetensi dosen sebagai pendidik, terutama dimata mahasiswa. Penelitian terdahulu telah menggunakan berbagai metode keputusan untuk mengevaluasi hasil kerja. Namun, metode TOPSIS menjadi metode yang lebih mudah untuk diterapkan pada penelitian ini. Sebelumnya, evaluasi kinerja dosen bersifat subjektif dan tidak terstruktur sehingga memberikan hasil yang kurang akurat dan tidak objektif. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode TOPSIS sebagai metode yang memperhitungkan kriteria kompetensi agar menghasilkan informasi yang objektif dan terstruktur sesuai dengan standar. Kriteria kompetensi yaitu, pendagogik, profesional, kepribadian dan sosial. Hasil analisis metode TOPSIS dapat memberikan pendekatan secara objektif yaitu dosen TRPL 1 memiliki nilai terbesar yaitu 1 dan dosen TRPL 2 memiliki nilai terkecil yaitu 0. Hal ini dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan dan peningkatan kualitas dosen, serta langkah evaluasi kinerja yang terukur, tersruktur dan transparan. Selanjutnya capaian kinerja setiap dosen dapat dievaluasi untuk pengembangan dan perbaikan kualitas berdasarkan kendala atau masalah, sehingga hasil evaluasi menjadi dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan dalam memberikan penghargaan atau pembinaan.
