Abstract

The teacher is not only used verbal communication but also used nonverbalcommunication, this study aims to investigate the teacher use nonverbalcommunication in teaching learning process and the teachers’ nonverbalcommunication effect on the classroom atmosphere at SMP Negeri 2 RobatalSampang Madura. The subject of the study is the teacher and the students. Theinstruments used to get the data were observation, interview and documentation.Observation was applied in order to know the use nonverbal communication inteaching learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Robatal Sampang and activity in theclassroom. Interviews were conducted to know the effect of nonverbalcommunication in teaching learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Robatal Sampang.The result of the shows that teachers’ nonverbal used in teaching learning processare hands, space and distance, touching and chronemics. Hands is nonverbal themost used by the teacher in teaching learning process, the manner of the usedhands in teaching learning process , he ups his hands to ask students to comeforward. Space and distance is the second nonverbal that’s more often thantouching in teaching learning process after hands. It used the teacher to explainhis material in the used space and distance the teacher stands up in front of astudents to explains his material, touching is nonverbal used the teacher inteaching learning process, touching used the teacher to communication with astudent’s while the teacher asks a students to come forward if the students didn’twant to come forward the teacher stand up beside a students and be touches theirbody. Chronemics was rarely used by the teacher in the classroom, chonemicsused the teacher while he gives task to the students he gives limed the time to thestudents to prepare the material that would be presentation. Beside that the effectof nonverbal communication used were helping students understanding andaccompanying to verbal message. Helping students understanding more easily toa students to receive the material that’s explains by the teacher. Accompanying toverbal message is a student’s more easily understand to get the point of teachers’explanation in teaching learning process.

Abstract

Data mining merupakan proses analisa data untuk menemukan suatu pola dari kumpulan data tersebut. Data mining mampu menganalisa data yang besar menjadi informasi berupa pola yang mempunyai arti bagi pendukung keputusan. Salah satu teknik data mining yang dapat digunakan adalah association rules atau yang biasa disebut dengan istilah market basket analysis. Market basket didefinisikan sebagai suatu itemset yang dibeli secara bersamaan oleh pelanggan dalam suatu transaksi. Market basket analysis adalah suatu alat yang ampuh untuk pelaksanaan strategi cross-selling. Metode ini dimulai dengan mencari sejumlah frequent itemset dan dilanjutkan dengan pembentukan aturan-aturan asosiasi (association rules). Algoritma Multilevel Association Rules adalah algoritma yang dapat menemukan sejumlah frequent itemset dari level berbeda pada transaksi yang tersimpan dalam basis data.Dalam penelitian ini algoritma Multilevel Association Rules digunakan untuk membantu menemukan sejumlah aturan asosiasi dari basis data pemesanan barang di PT. Unirama, sehingga untuk selanjutnya dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam membuat strategi distribusi yang efektif.Dari hasil pemrosesan data mining, ditemukan rules yang memenuhi minimum support dan minimum confidence pada level 1 (Produk) 1 rule, pada level 2 (Jenis) 1 rule, pada level 3 (Tipe) 12 rule, dan pada level 4 (Kemasan) 12 rule.

Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is one of the essential competencies that must be developed from an early age because it plays an important role in forming students’ critical and logical thinking skills. However, students’ abilities in this aspect are still low, one of the influencing factors being the limited facilitation of HOTS questions provided by teachers. This study aims to determine: (1) the comparison of HOTS and LOTS questions made by teachers; (2) teachers’ understanding of HOTS questions; and (3) teachers’ difficulties in compiling HOTS questions. This study employed a qualitative research approach with a qualitative case study. The respondents consisted of 6 teachers selected based on certain criteria. Data were obtained through interviews and reviews of daily test documents, with a total of  51 questions analyzed using the revised Bloom’s taxonomy framework. Data analysis referred to Miles and Huberman’s stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the percentage of HOTS questions appearing in teachers’ daily test items was still low. Only 4 out of the 51 analyzed questions (8%) were classified as HOTS questions, while the remaining items were categorized as lower-order thinking skills (LOTS) questions. In addition, only 1 teacher (17%) correctly understood the definition of HOTS questions, while 5 teachers (83%) did not. Teachers also experienced difficulties in developing stimuli and finding references related to HOTS questions. These findings indicate that teachers require structured training in distinguishing procedural application questions (C3) from authentic HOTS tasks at the C4–C6 levels.
