Abstract

Definition of prevailing religion in general (world religions) have been constructed in such a manner in accordance with the concept of rulers. Before the import of religion comes, the local belief has gained a place and has fostered human society into a "religion". However, the politicization of religion entrants positioned local beliefs become the enemy in his hometown. Starting with the framing of the occult, mystical, syncretic, tahkyul and others. Minority belief started alienated in a hometown. In the eyes of the sociology of religion, Durkheim gives the sense that religion is sui generis in a society. Religion is a system of beliefs and practices that have united and are associated with things that are sacred / holy, beliefs, and practices which unite into one single moral community. Therefore, it should be underlined the roots of religious contestation world paradigm here is uniformity of definition of religion.

Abstract

This paper discusses relating to dialogue between Christianity and the Kembang Kuningan Rite. This rite is in the Polobogo Village area, Getasan District, Semarang Regency. Every month of the Jumadil Akhir in some “punden” (sacred tombs), a ritual is performed as part of the ceremony for the rite. The essence of the series of rituals carried out is to pray for ancestors and ask for blessings and safety for the community. Be unique when this ritual is performed by church members, who incidentally have a Christian identity, but also have an identity as a local community, using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis method and the analysis of synthesis models. It was found that the theology of honor became a meeting point to dialogue Christian identity with the Kembang Kuningan rite

Abstract

This article discusses the religious tourism object of Gunung Kemukus, located in Sragen Regency, Central Java. The uniqueness of this religious tourism lies in its ritual procedures with the rites of the Tomb of Prince Samudro and the Ontangulan Spring. As crowds of pilgrims and visitors arrive, the impact on changes in the perspective of cultural symbols, including environmental preservation and preservation of cultural rites. By using a qualitative approach, analytical descriptive method and ecological perspective, it was found that the Ontrowulan Spring can be a bridge for environmental preservation efforts, which will have an impact on nature preservation and the convenience of pilgrims performing rituals. Local wisdom in the form of the myth of the Water Spring Ontrowulan has become a symbol in environmental preservation in the Gunung Kemukus region. Efforts to preserve the environment and social environment will have an impact on the preservation of cultural sites on Gunung Kemukus.

Abstract

The wave of the technological revolution has a strong correlation with the globalization process which has succeeded in creating a new culture and lifestyle in society. With or without realizing it, the world is undergoing a transition process, which is quite a change. These changes can bring about both change and disaster in particular for young people. From the available data, it can be seen that the decreasing interest of young people to worship. Relevant services are needed in responding to technological developments in the era of the industrial revolution. The discussion in this article emphasizes how to serve young people in today's context and according to their style and language but still based on the truth of God's Word. In writing this article using a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. The Unlimited Fire Youth Conference is an example of a relevant youth conference and community. By maximizing the use of existing social media to reach and serve young people.

Abstract

Pendeta Petrus Agung Purnomo merupakan salah seorang tokoh yang fenomenal sewaktu hidup, maupun pada saat meninggalnya. Kepemimpinan kharismatis menjadikan salah satu faktor dari keberhasilan pelayanannya. Berkenaan dengan kepemimpinan tersebut, bagaimana imagologi yang ditampilkan dari sosok kharismatis tersebut? Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif didapatkan bahwa “anak didik” dari Sang Pemimpin kharismatik, melakukan imagologi dengan mengimitasi tindakan “atraktif” sewaktu melayani. Imitasi tersebut meliputi gaya bahasa, olah tubuh dan gaya berpakaian. Ketiga hal tersebut akhirnya menjadikan standar untuk mengukur tingkat kerohanian di kalangannya. Imagologi tanpa identifikasi dan interaksi yang tidak mendalam akan menimbulkan stigmatisasi spiritual dengan pemahaman yang sangat dangkal. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan interaksi dan edukasi, supaya imagologi spiritual dapat terkikis, dan mengembalikan makna dasar tentang kehidupan spiritual di dalam gereja.

Abstract

Social stratification is a culture that is still inherent in the life of the Sumba tribe in East Nusa Tenggara. In the culture of the Sumbanese people, social stratification is very important because it will determine the level of one's position in the community. According to the people of Sumba, when the social stratification occurs, there will be a difference between maramba and ata in community life. Because when someone is in the maramba group, he will be seen as a person who has the highest position and deserves respect. But if you are in an ata group, you will be looked down upon because you have a very low position. Likewise what happened in the Pau-Umbara congregation, they still practice social stratification and they believe that with social stratification, everyone will respect each other, respect each other. Through a qualitative approach using descriptive methods, this research examines the attitude of the Sumba Christian Church towards the existing social stratification in the Pau-Umabara congregation. It is found that the Church provides a new understanding of stratification in the congregation.

Abstract

Fibry Jati Nugroho, Church and Poverty: Discourse on the Role of the Church in the Midst of Poverty. The problem of poverty is not only a local problem, but a problem that the world is struggling with. The Church as the Lord's mandate in the middle of the world, is required to play a role in helping the problem of poverty. How naturally does the church play a role in the midst of community poverty? By using descriptive analysis methods, and in conjunction with the thinking of Karl Marx, examine the role of the church in helping to overcome the problem of poverty. The church's calling should be to voice injustice and oppression of poor people's rights. The Church is present to side with the weak, the powerless, the poor, and the marginalized. If the church does not have partiality to the weak, then the presence of the church has no meaning. The church needs to continually offer its prophetic criticism indiscriminately against various abuses of power, the occurrence of injustice, the deprivation of public rights, and the oppressive and impoverishing system of humans. The spirituality and religiosity of the congregation must also come to a social piety, in which the spiritual energy possessed by the congregation is able to encourage concern for various problems in people's lives. Spirituality like this must be a concern of the church in building the life of the church. The cross must be understood as a reflection of the suffering and death of Christ, but at the same time must be able to open the eyes and ears of suffering, misery, and human hope for their dignity and human dignity. Permasalahan kemiskinan bukan hanya menjadi masalah lokal, namun menjadi masalah yang digumulkan oleh dunia. Gereja sebagai mandataris Tuhan di tengah dunia, dituntut untuk dapat berperan dalam membantu masalah kemiskinan. Bagaimanakah sewajarnya gereja berperan di tengah kemiskinan masyarakat? Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis, serta meminjam pemikiran Karl Marx, untuk menelisik peran gereja dalam membantu mengatasi permasalahan kemiskinan. Panggilan gereja yang seharusnya adalah untuk menyuarakan ketidakadilan dan penindasan hak-hak orang mis­kin.  Gereja hadir untuk berpihak kepada yang lemah, tidak ber­daya, miskin, dan yang terpinggirkan. Jika gereja tidak memiliki keperpihakan kepada yang lemah, maka kehadiran gereja tidak memiliki makna. Gereja perlu terus menerus menyu­ara­kan kritik profetisnya tanpa pandang bulu terhadap berbagai penyalah­gunaan kekuasaan, terjadinya ketidakadilan, terampasnya hak-hak masya­rakat, dan terhadap sistim yang menindas serta memiskinkan manusia. Spiritualitas dan religiusitas jemaat juga harus sampai kepada sebuah kesalehan sosial, di mana energi spiritual yang dimiliki jemaat mampu untuk mendorong kepeduliannya akan berbagai persoalan kehidupan masyarakat. Spiritualitas seperti inilah yang harus menjadi perhatian gereja dalam membangun kehidupan jemaat. Salib harus dipahami sebagai refleksi atas penderitaan dan kematian Kristus, namun di saat yang sama pula harus mampu membuka mata dan telinga akan penderitaan, kesengsaraan, dan pengharapan manusia akan harkat dan martabatnya sebagai manusia. Disitulah gereja berperan.

Abstract

Fibry Jati Nugroho, Pastoral Assistance Holistic: A Proposed Conceptual Development Residents Church. A strong church is formed of a strong congregation. Strong congregation obtained from the pastoral care that actively touches the whole life of the churches. The Church should strive to develop a holistic pastoral care to the congregation. Various programs designed to be used to achieve a holistic pastoral care. Multiculture congregation accompanied by multiproblem, requiring pastoral agents set the strategy and create a model to be able to provide a holistic pastoral care services to the citizens of his church. The concept of holistic pastoral care of Howard Clinebell and Totok Wiryasaputra will help create a framework to analyze the development of church people holistically. The theoretical framework will be integrated with pastoral models developed by David Yonggi Cho's Yoido Full Gospel Church. The concept and model of pastoral care holistic support each other as well as a "scalpel" of pastoral care that is geared towards the empowerment of the laity effectiveness and small groups methods. ABSTRAK: Fibry Jati Nugroho,Pendampingan Pastoral Holistik:Sebuah Usulan Konseptual Pembinaan Warga Gereja. Gereja yang kuat terbentuk dari jemaat yang kuat. Jemaat yang kuat didapat dari pendampingan pastoral yang secara aktif menyentuh keseluruhan kehidupan warga gerejanya. Gereja perlu berusaha mengembangkan pendampingan pastoral holistik kepada jemaatnya. Berbagai program yang dirancang digunakan untuk mencapai sebuah pendampingan pastoral holistik. Jemaat yang multikultur disertai dengan multiproblem, mengharuskan para pelaku pastoral mengatur strategi dan menyusun model untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan pendampingan pastoral holistik kepada warga gerejanya. Konsep pendampingan pastoral holistik dari Howard Clinebell dan Totok Wiryasaputra akan membantu menganalisis dalam kerangka membuat pembinaan warga gereja secara holistik. Kerangka teoretis tersebut akan dipadukan dengan model pastoral yang dikembangkan oleh David Yonggi Cho di Yoido Full Gospel Church. Konsep dan model pendampingan pastoral holistik saling menopang serta menjadi pisau bedah dari pendampingan pastoral yang bermuara kepada efektifitas pemberdayaan kaum awam dan metode kelompok kecil.

Abstract

The true Church must run of vocation as peacemakers. Peacemaker could do if the Church has become part of the context. If the Church were exiled by the context, it means that there are issues that must be resolved within the Church. Northen Central Java Christian Church (GKJTU), and the same with other churches on the Javanese, experienced alienation from the context. That alienation because there is the question of the identity of a Hybrid Church. To cope with it all the citizens of the Church must be built to move nearing the Javanese culture with the formation of the fourth space as its base. This fourth space is a space to interact back with the Christianity of Javanese culture that's been left behind. The fourth space is the place for contextualize. The formation of this fourth space should be seen from the poskolonial theory is Homi k. Bhabha about third space.  Gereja yang hidup dan benar harus menjalankan panggilannya sebagai pembawa damai. Pembawa damai bisa dilakukan jika Gereja telah menjadi bagian dari konteks. Jika gereja diasingkan oleh konteks itu artinya ada persoalan yang harus diselesaikan di dalam gereja itu. Gereja Kristen Jawa tengah utara (GKJTU), dan sama dengan Gereja lain di Jawa, mengalami keterasingan dari konteks. Keterasingan itu karena ada persoalan identitas Hybrid gereja. Untuk mengatasi hal itu semua warga gereja harus dibina untuk bergerak mendekati budaya Jawa dengan pembentukan ruang keempat sebagai basisnya. Ruang keempat ini adalah ruang untuk berinteraksi kembali kekristenan dengan budaya Jawa yang sudah ditinggalkannya. Pembentukan ruang keempat ini harus dilihat dari teori poskolonial Homi K. Bhabha.

Maxima Wedding Organizer attends a family that needs wedding services asa solution for the married family. They leave it to Maxima Wedding Organizer to the problem at hand. Researchers use qualitative research using descriptive methods, it describes a religionist-religionist study the practical maxima wedding organizer in solo can provide insight into the select of cheap and frugaliarian wedding.  AbstrakMaxima Wedding Organizer merupakan suatu bisnis yang bergerak di bagian pesta pernikahan. Menerima dan membantu pengantin yang ingin melangsungkan pernikahannya. Maxima Wedding Organizer hadir di tengah-tengah keluarga yang membutuhkan jasa Wedding sebagai solusi bagi keluarga yang menikah. Pasangan yang hendak menikah menyerahkan acara sepenuhnya kepada Maxima Wedding Organizer untuk mempersiapkan semuanya dalam mengatasi masalah yang ada. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, penelitian ini menguraikan tentang Studi Deskriptif Religiusitas Praktis pekerja Maxima Wedding Organizer Di Solo dapat memberikan pemahaman dalam memilih wedding yang murah dan hemat.
