Abstract

The use of digital technology for the empowerment of MSMEs can encourage the improvement of competitiveness and market access for business actors. In Kaputihan Village, Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency, which has natural products and snack food production, technology has not yet been utilised as a medium to market the produced products. This community service activity is expected to help the community optimise online product marketing, increasing sales and reaching a wider market. The method used in this activity is a workshop training on the Pasar Kaputihan application for the community of MSME actors and village officials as application administrators. With the digital marketing training "Pasar Kaputihan," it is hoped that MSME actors in Kaputihan Village can understand and apply technology in their product marketing processes, thereby expanding their market, increasing sales, and enhancing the competitiveness of their products in the global market. The goal of the E-commerce application for UMKM in Kaputihan Village is to empower the residents' businesses by utilising digital technology so that the wider community can access them. In addition, this application aims to increase visibility to promote products such as handicrafts, traditional foods, or agricultural products from the village. With the presence of this application, it can create innovation and collaboration between the community and the village government, allowing the community to improve their quality of life and the income of Kaputihan village

Abstract

Abstract: The village of Sumberjaya has considerable local economic potential through the management of the Bagjawaluya Village-Owned Enterprise (BumDes), particularly in the Mini Soccer, Campground, Kiosk Rental, Water Supply, and Village Internet business units. However, limitations in the use of digital technology and promotional media have resulted in low effectiveness of services to the community. This community service activity aims to support the optimization of company profile creation and online booking systems for existing business units at BumDes Bagjawaluya. The target partners in this activity are BumDes managers, with 15 participants involved. To measure the effectiveness of the activity, an evaluation method consisting of a pre-test and post-test was used to assess the increase in participants' understanding, as well as a questionnaire to explore their perceptions and readiness to adopt digital technology. The results of the activity showed an increase in understanding of company profile management by 86.67% and business unit ordering applications by 93.33%. These results indicate that the community service activity had a positive impact on improving the digital literacy of BumDes managers. Keyword: BumDes; Company Profile; Digitalization; Ordering; Optimization Abstrak: Desa Sumberjaya memiliki potensi ekonomi lokal yang cukup besar melalui pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BumDes) Bagjawaluya, khususnya pada unit usaha Mini Soccer, Bumi Perkemahan,Sewa Kios, Air weslik, Internet Desa. Namun, keterbatasan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital dan media promosi menyebabkan rendahnya efektivitas layanan kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung optimalisasi pembuatan company profile, dan sistem pemesanan online untuk unit usaha yang ada pada BumDes Bagjawaluya. Mitra sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah pengelola BumDes dengan jumlah peserta yang terlibat sebanyak 15 orang. Untuk mengukur efektivitas kegiatan, digunakan metode evaluasi berupa pre-test dan post-test untuk menilai peningkatan pemahaman peserta, serta kuisioner untuk menggali persepsi dan kesiapan mereka dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman untuk pengelolaan Company Profile 86,67%, aplikasi pemesanan unit usaha 93,33%. .Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan literasi digital pengelola BumDes. Abstract

This research aims to develop a thyroid cancer recurrence prediction model using the XGBoost method with a clinicopathological feature-based approach. Thyroid cancer is one of the cancers that have a significant recurrence rate after initial treatment. Therefore, thyroid cancer recurrence prediction is important in determining treatment plans and patient management. In this study, we used a dataset containing 383 records of clinicopathological information on thyroid cancer patients who had undergone treatment. The features include various clinical and pathological parameters that are considered important in recurrence prediction. We used the XGBoost algorithm, which has proven effective in various classification tasks, to build a prediction model. The model evaluation results show good consistency in predicting the thyroid cancer recurrence with an average accuracy value of around 97.74% and an average F1-score value of around 95.94%. The results show that the XGBoost model can provide thyroid cancer recurrence prediction with good accuracy, with the ability to effectively detect both classes (recurrence and non-recurrence). The model is expected to be a valuable tool in supporting clinical decision-making related to the management of thyroid cancer patients.
