Abstract

This article aims to examine the theory of meaning in the structure of Arabic linguistics that is studied by classical era commentators.  In the classical era, the study that became a concentration of the study of al-Qur'an is the understanding of the meaning of the Qur'an with an Arabic linguistic approach.  To get the ideal meaning from the verses of the Koran they pay attention to i’rab (Arabic grammar). They are concerned in the field of language criticism through grammatical, stylistic, and semantic approaches.  Theories of meaning in classical times are supported by various works of classical Arabic linguists entitled Ma‘ānī al-Qur’ān, al-Farrā ’, al-Kisā’ī, al-Zajjāj, and al-Naḥḥās. These works are very significant in the development of the theorization of meaning from the point of view of the structure of the building (grammatical language). The theory of meaning is also supported by the study of stylistics (language style /uslūb).  The study of the stylistic al-Qur'an in the theory of meaning is strengthened by al-Jā hiz and al-Jurjānī in their respective works.  The final meaning theory can be found in the Qur'anic semantic studies. This study is considered as an ideal method in exposing the meaning of the Qur'anic language. Semantic studies of al-Qur'an are supported by the theory of al-wujūh wa al-naẓāir and siyāq (the context of the meaning of language). The study of the Wujūh and Naẓāir is a method of understanding the message of meaning which is possessed by the verses of the Qur'an, once studied by Ibn al-Jauzī. While siyāq is an indicator used in determining the meaning desired by mutakallim, it has been studied by Ibn Daqīq al-‘Id.

Abstract

This article explores the influence of aqidah and fiqh mazhab or sect in different interpretations. The interpreters prefer using the word ikhtilaf to be juxtaposed with interpretation. Ibnu Taimiyah mentions an article ikhtilaf al-salaf fi al-tafsir in the book Muqaddimah fi Usul al-Tafsir and the other scholars' works. The interpretation difference is divided into two parts, variative difference (tanawwu') and contradictory disputes (tadad). Both of those interpretation difference forms occured among the scholars, but in terms of difference (contradictory) quantity is relative small. In this article, it is found that mazhab mufassir often influence their interpretation result. Affiliation of mazhab fiqh is very influencial on an interpreter's interpretation. The affiliation of kalam also influences a mufassir in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an. The influence of this difference leads to various interpretation and enriches the scientific treasures in Islamic religion.* * *Artikel ini mengeksplorasi tentang pengaruh mazhab aqidah dan fiqih dalam perbedaan penafsiran. Para ahli tafsir lebih memilih penggunaan kata ikhtilaf untuk disandingkan dengan penafsiran. Semisal, Ibnu Taimiyah menyebut sebuah pasal ikhtilaf al-salaf fi al-tafsir dalam kitab Muqaddimah fi Usul al-Tafsir, serta karya ulama-ulama lainnya. Perbedaan penafsiran dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yakni perbedaan variatif (tanawwu’), dan perselisihan kontradiktif (tad}ad). Kedua bentuk perbedaan penafsiran itu, terjadi dikalangan para ulama, namun dari segi kuantitasnya perbedaan (kontradiktif) relatif kecil. Dalam artikel ini, ditemukan bahwa mazhab mufassir seringkali mempengaruhi hasil penafsirannya. Afiliasi terhadap mazhab fiqih sangat berpengaruh pada penafsiran seorang penafsir. Begitu juga, afiliasi terhadap mazhab kalam juga sangat mempengaruhi seorang mufassir dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an. Sehingga, pengaruh perbedaan ini menyebabkan banyaknya penafsiran yang beragam dan memperkaya khazanah keilmuan dalam agama Islam.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is a statement (both implicit and explicit) about how a brand or product line reaches its goal. Meanwhile, Tull and Kahle (1990) defined a fundamental tool strategy planned to achieve company goals by developing sustainable competitive advantages through the market entered and marketing programs used to serve the target market. In each step, marketing activities and activities must always be based on Islamic shari'a. Sharia marketing believes that these divine laws are the most ideal, the most perfect, most appropriate for all forms of goodness and most can prevent all forms of damage. A Shari'ah marketer even though he is not able to see God, he will always feel that God is always watching him. So that he will be able to avoid all kinds of actions that cause other people to be deceived.

Abstract

This article discusses Arabic literature criticism during the classical period represented in al-Jurjāni’s naẓm (poetic) theory. It aims to analyze al-Jurjānī's thoughts in the field of balāgha (Arabic rhetoric) in revealing the miracles of the Qur'an in terms of its language beauty. Al-Jurjānī argues that one of the miraculous aspects of the Qur'an is concerned with its naẓm. Although the theory of naẓm had been previously proposed by Arabic literary scholars, such as al-Jāhiẓ, al-Baqillānī and al-Rummānī, al-Jurjānī, however, elaborated and developed the theory naẓm in great details. His theory contributes to the development of the meaning of balāgha and introduces it to public audience amongst scholars of the Qur’an. Al-Jurjānī concludes that naẓm is determined by the meaning of the Qur'anic verses as well as the structure in the discipline of naḥwu (grammar). The naḥwu and naẓm theory work together to generate meaning of the spoken sentence. Al-Jurjānī’s concept of naẓm supersedes later experts' and even modern Western linguists' discoveries and knowledge in the field of Arabic literary criticism.

Abstract

This paper examines the cultural traditions of meron in Pati Indonesia. A tradition that is interpreted with respect to the prophet by bringing a cone made from large rengginang. The method used is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach that aims to find out the meaning of each meron symbol. The theory used is Herbert Blumer's symbolic interactionism that narrates three assumptions of symbols, namely meaning as the basis of human action, meaning created from social interaction and meaning modified through reader interpretation. The results of this paper are that the meron tradition has relevance to the teachings of Islam as a form of da'wah. Rengginang as a symbol of gratitude and togetherness, a mosque as a religious symbol and the arrangement of rengginang is a symbol of the levels of Iman, Islam and Ihsan. The relevance of meron to the verses of the Quran, as in the study of QS. al-Baqarah: 260. Rengginang made from rice is hinted at in QS. al-Baqarah: 261 and QS. Al-Fath: 29. While the mosque symbol is strengthened in the QS. At-Taubah: 18-19.

The existence of an online zakat institution will make it easy for the community (muzakki) to give zakat.This study aims to understand the effectiveness of online zakat management on two zakat institution websites.This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with content analysis method.The results of the study show that the use of the website as a medium for socialization, implementation and distribution of zakat is effective.The existence of management transparency to the public, both through the release of financial reports and activity reports, is an indicator of public trust in this zakat fundrising institution.To make it even easier, some zakat managers also provide smartphone platforms such as Android applications and the like. <w:LsdException Locked="false"
