Abstract

Menuju zaman era gelobalisasi 4.0, maka banyak terobosan baru yang telah tercipta di bidang teknologi informasi saat ini. Oleh karena itulah peneliti mencoba mengikuti perkembangan dengan mengambil sebuah penelitian tentang sebuah robot line follower berbasis mikrokontroler arduino uno atmega 328. Dimana disini peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara perakitan robot tersebut, pemrograman yang diaplikasikan untuk mengerakkan perintah robot tersebut dengan menggunakan pengamatan berdasarkan latar belakang berwarna hitam dan putih, serta lintasan garis yang berwarna hiam dan putih. Selain ingin merancang robot tersebut, peneliti juga melakukan analisa percobaan dengan menggunakan dua warna yang berbeda tersebut. Peneliti melakukan percobaan sebanyak sepuluh kali percobaan setiap dua pengamatan dengan latar belakang dan lintas garis yang berbeda. Dari pengamatan tersebut dapat terlihat perbedaan, dimana robot line follower cenderung lebih cepat membaca intruksi yang mana pada hasil pengamatan 1 yaitu Latar belakang berwarna putih dan lintang garis berwarna hitam dan pola lintasan yang dibuat seperti lingkarang yang membujur. Dan didapat hasil analisa perbedaan selisih waktu yaitu: 42.5 detik untuk sepuluh kali percobaan yang dilakukan dari dua pengamatan yang berbeda.Oleh karena itulah, penulis berharap kepada mahasiswa untuk lebih tertarik mendalami program robot tersebut sehingga kedepan tercipta robotik yang dapat dijadikan penelitian oleh mahasiswa dan dosen untuk mewakili program studi tempat kita bernaung.

Abstract

Starting from the work program of KKN Baturaja University students who asked lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering and Computers to conduct counseling with the theme "Appropriate Technology" in Way Heling Village, Lengkiti District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This extension activity was aimed at youth cadets in Way Heling Village, where the purpose of community service conducted by the Faculty of Engineering and Computers at Baturaja University is to open up insights on social media and the distribution of information produced by social media in the digital age, to be selective, wise and critical in accessing and / or spreading information in the media social. The method of implementing activities in the form of counseling, discussion, question and answer and participants is youth youths added by the village helicopter Way Way. The results of the counseling showed that the teenagers were interested in creating social media in the economic, education and social culture field to improve their life expectancy and even they expected their village to be selected as a target village in terms of information and communication (information village). The conclusions that could be drawn from this extension activity showed a response positive and very good addressed by participants to the instructor.

Abstract

Determining outstanding students at Baturaja University is an important process that requires fair and objective assessment based on relevant criteria. The purpose of this study is to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods to assist the university team in the process of selecting outstanding students. This study took a sample of 50 students who had a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) ≥ 3.5 and a track record of non-academic achievements. The four main criteria used in the assessment are Academic, Non-Academic, Attendance, and Attitude and Ethics. AHP is used to determine the weight of each criterion, while TOPSIS is applied to obtain the final ranking of students based on their proximity to positive and negative ideal solutions. The expected results of this study are a DSS that is able to provide objective student ranking recommendations, reduce subjectivity in assessment, and assist the selection committee in making fairer and more consistent decisions. This DSS is expected to improve efficiency and accuracy in the process of selecting outstanding students at Baturaja University.
