Abstract

Indonesia is entering a demographic surplus era where millennial generation employees occupy most of the existing work opportunities. When the organization pays attention to and fulfills the needs of millennial generation employees, this arguably will prosper the employees so that their quality of work life can be realized. Organizational support provided by leaders who try to prioritize common interests over personal interests or servant leadership is one of the things that creates employees’ welfare because the employees’ needs are met. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of servant leadership on the quality of work life of millennial generation employees. This study used quantitative methods with the sampling technique employed is using total sampling with the number of subjects in this are 96 people at BUMN X in West Nusa Tenggara. The data collection method used the servant leadership scale of 18 items and the quality of work life scale of 34 items. Data analysis used the simple linear regression technique. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of servant leadership on the quality of work life. Servant leadership has an effect of 48.6% on the quality of work life for millennial generation employees (F = 88.893, p = 0.000, = 0.486).

Abstract

The phenomenon of marriage at a young age is increasing in Tulungagung. Teenagers who decide to marry young will experience some negative impacts, especially if they are not accompanied with a mature emotional state. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and marital adjustment in young marriages. This study uses quantitative methods. Subjects are selected using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of couples who married when their age is less than 21 years old, with a marriage age of 1-5 years in Tulungagung Regency. This study obtained as many as 83 respondents. This study collected data using a scale of emotional maturity and marriage adjustment through google form and then analyzed using the correlation product moment formula. The results showed the value of r = 0.534 (p <0.05) which means that there is a positive relationship between emotional maturity and marital adjustment. The higher the emotional maturity, the higher the marital adjustment. Vice versa, if emotional maturity is low, marital adjustment will also be low.   Keywords: Early age marriages, emotional maturity, marital adjustment

Abstract

The fatigue of social media after use is the impact from a person’s lower level of well-being related to their social media life. Social media use can’t be separated from the existence of privacy concerns that can make someone feel physique and mentally exhausted because of their personal information pressure on social media. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of online subjective well-being and privacy concern to social media fatigue. The subjects of this study were social media users aged 20-30 years old, had at least 2 accounts, and used social media with a minimum duration of 6 hours a day, total respondents were 337 and used random sampling technique. The data was collected online using the Online Subjective Well-Being (OSWB), Social Media Fatigue (SMF), and Privacy Concern (PC) scales. Regression analysis showed that online subjective well-being and privacy concerns had an effect on social media fatigue (p<0.001). Abstract

Korean Pop (K-Pop) popularity and huge number of fans have spread globally, including Indonesia. Being a loyal fan providing support for idols is one of the mandatory things for K-Pop fans. Any form of fan activity to support idols excessively can lead to fanaticism. This study aims to examine the correlation between wisdom and fanaticism in K-Pop fans. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The research subjects were a total of 389 subjects, with at least 1 year of experience as fans and were in the range of age 18 - 21 years old. Data collection was delivered out online with google form using the fanaticism scale of K-Pop fans and the adaptation of the 3D-WS wisdom scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson product moment Correlation method which showed there was no correlation between wisdom and fanaticism in K-Pop fans (r= -0.080; p > 0.05).   Keywords: Fanaticism, K-Pop fans, wisdom
