Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran identitas keagamaan ingroup, identitas neutral, dan identitas keagamaan outgroup dalam perilaku menyumbang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi-experimental dengan six-group-posttest-only design. 142 eksperimentee yang dipilih secara acak mewakili enam kelompok kemahasiswaan. Priming identitas ingroup, outgroup, dan neutral diukur efeknya menggunakan kuesioner intensi menyumbang. Data hasil eksperimen kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Kruskall-Wallis test dan analisis post hoc menggunakan Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan intensi menyumbang yang signifikan terhadap mereka yang seiman (ingroup), tidak diketahui identitas keagamaannya (netral), maupun yang berbeda agama (outgroup). Hasil post hoc test menunjukkan bahwa intensi menyumbang terhadap ingroup lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding intensi menyumbang neutral. Begitupula, intensi menyumbang terhadap outgroup secara signifikan lebih rendah dibanding intensi menyumbang neutral. Analisis per kelompok menunjukkan bahwa eksposur identitas keagamaan tidak berfungsi efektif pada semua kelompok mahasiswa karena terdapat dua kelompok mahasiswa yang tidak menunjukkan perbedaan intensi menyumbang baik terhadap ingroup, neutral, maupun outgroup. Implikasi dan saran dari temuan tersebut didiskusikan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Abstract The family context in the strengthening religious moderation policy by the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) has not become a top priority compared to the social and educational contexts. In the research context as well, the theme of the method of developing the religious moderation value in the family context remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to explore those themes for mapping the previous research and drawing opportunities for future research. This research is library research based on books and previous research. The results show that the methods for developing religious moderation values in the family remain limited in the mean of the number of studies, method diversity, and research type. The implications of these findings are discussed further. Keywords: Value developing method; religious moderation; family. Abstrak: Konteks keluarga dalam policy penguatan moderasi beragama oleh Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) belum menjadi prioritas utama dibandingkan konteks sosial dan pendidikan. Demikian pula dalam konteks penelitian, tema metode pengembangan nilai moderasi beragama dalam konteks keluarga masih sangat terbatas. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi hasil-hasil penelitian dari tema tersebut untuk memetakan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dan peluang bagi peneliti-peneliti berikutnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka berdasarkan buku dan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penelitian-penelitian bertema metode pengembangan nilai moderasi beragama dalam keluarga masih terbatas dalam hal jumlah penelitian, ragam metode, dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan. Implikai dari temuan ini didiskusikan lebih lanjut. Kata Kunci: Metode pengembangan nilai; moderasi beragama; keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting self-efficacy on father involvement in stunting prevention. The research is motivated by the high prevalence of stunting in Indonesia, despite recent declines. Further research is needed to explore the factors that contribute to reducing stunting, particularly the role of families in providing instrumental and emotional support. While co-parenting, where both fathers and mothers share responsibilities in raising and educating children, is ideal, the reality shows that father involvement in early childhood care remains very limited. This study employs a quantitative correlational method with a sample of 220 fathers in Semarang City, selected using convenience sampling. The study uses two measurement tools: the Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) by Coleman & Karraker, adapted into Indonesian with 36 items. The results of a simple linear regression analysis indicate that parenting self-efficacy has a positive impact on father involvement in stunting prevention. Parenting self-efficacy plays a crucial role in stunting prevention and improving child health. The study also demonstrates that parenting self-efficacy increases father involvement in caregiving, although social and cultural differences may influence this relationship. A lack of father involvement not only increases the risk of stunting but also places a greater burden on mothers, which can negatively impact child well-being.

Abstract

AbstractEducation of values in children in the family is essential in forming future generations' character and morality. In the context of Indonesian society, knowledge of educational values in Muslim families is critical because of their position as majority community members. Apart from that, efforts to examine the results of empirical research on the theme of values education in Muslim families in Indonesia are still limited. Therefore, this article aims to explore the results of empirical research on the theme of values education in Muslim families and compile them into a narrative. This research uses the scoping review method. Literature exploration sourced from Google Scholar (scholar.google.co.id) with a search range of the last ten years (2013-2023) on 09 November 2023. The literature was selected based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) steps. These steps resulted in 23 articles that met the criteria for review. The results of empirical research related to values education for children in Muslim families focus on four themes: implementation of values in the family environment, children's environment, internal family relationships, and the urgency of teaching religion to children. The implications of the results are discussed further.Keywords: education values, children, moslem families
