Abstract

Abstrak.Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (PLH) bertujuan agar mahasiswa dapat memahami mengenai paradigma, pengertian, dan etika lingkungan hidup. Selama ini UNNES telah memberikan mata kuliah Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (PLH) kepada mahasiswa, namun evaluasi dan efeknya terhadap orientasi nilai dan intensi berperilaku pro-konservasi (lingkungan) masih belum banyak diteliti sehingga diperlukan analisis untuk mengetahui efek dari PLH yang sudah dijalankan sebagai salah satu matakuliah wajib di UNNES. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui intensi perilaku pro-konservasi pada mahasiswa UNNES ditinjau dari orientasi nilai individu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan subjek  mahasiswa UNNES yang telah lulus, atau sedang mengambil mata kuliah PLH atau Pendidikan Konservasi.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode skala, yaitu Skala Intensi Perilaku Pro-Konservasi dan Skala Orientasi Nilai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa UNNES yang telah mengambil mata kuliah PLH mempunyai intensi perilaku pro-konservasi pada kategori sedang (71,5%) dan tinggi (28,2%), hal ini membuktikan bahwa PLH memberikan niat yang kuat untuk berperilaku pro lingkungan. Pada variabel orientasi nilai, ditemukan bahwa orientasi nilai kompetitor 40,8%, sedangkan orientasi nilai prososialnya adalah 29,4%. Sebanyak 91 mahasiswa mempunyai orientasi nilai yang bercampur dari ketiga orientasi nilai. Berdasarkan perhitungan juga ditemukan bahwa intensi perilaku pro-konservasi tidak berbeda ditinjau dari orientasi nilai individu, yaitu dengan nilai F=1,983 (F>0,05). Abstract. Environmental Education (EE) aims to make students can understand about the paradigm, understanding, and environmental ethics. UNNES has provided Environmental Education (EE) courses, but its evaluation and its effect on value orientation and intention of pro-conservation (environment) behavior have not been studied so much so that analysis is needed to know the effect of EE which has been run as one of compulsory courses at UNNES. This study aims to determine the intentions of pro-conservation behavior in UNNES students viewed from the orientation of individual values. The research method used is quantitative, with the subject of UNNES students who have taken or are still taking a course of EE or Conservation Education. Data collection method used in this research is scale method, that is Pro-Conservation Behavior Scale and Value Orientation Scale. The results of this study indicate that most of UNNES students who have taken the course of PLH have intention of pro-conservation behavior in medium category (71,5%) and high (28,2%), this proves that PLH give strong intention to behave pro-environmentally. In the value orientation variable, it was found that the competitor's value orientation was 40.8%, while the prosocial value orientation was 29.4%. A total of 91 students have a mixed value orientation of the three value orientations. Based on the analysis also found that the intention of pro-conservation behavior is not different in terms of the orientation of individual values, with the value F = 1,983 (F> 0.05).

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat kompetensi guru dalam mengindentifikasi kepribadian siswa berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami kepribadiannya. Hal ini juga secara langsung maupun tidak langsung berdampak pada beberapa hal salah satunya yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan perencanaan karir. Peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengindentifikasi kepribadian siswa perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan peran guru dalam memfasilitasi siswa untuk dapat melakukan perencanaan karir yang baik yang nantinya akan sangat bermanfaat bagi masa depan siswa. Pengabdian masayarakat berupa Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru dalam Mengidentifikasi Kepribadian Siswa dilakukan Madrasah Aliyah Ma’hadut Tholabah di Kabupaten Tegal. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengindentifikasi kepribadian siswa sehingga siswa terfasilitasi untuk melakukan perencanaan karir, Metode yang digunakan dengan workshop. One group pretest-posttest design dengan satu kali pretest dan satu kali posttest digunakan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan skor kompetensi guru mengenai identifikasi kepribadian siswa untuk perencanaan karir. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test didapatkan hasil positive ranks pada 19 peserta dan ties pada 1 peserta dengan nilai z sebesar -3.660 dengan ¬p = 0.000 (

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting self-efficacy on father involvement in stunting prevention. The research is motivated by the high prevalence of stunting in Indonesia, despite recent declines. Further research is needed to explore the factors that contribute to reducing stunting, particularly the role of families in providing instrumental and emotional support. While co-parenting, where both fathers and mothers share responsibilities in raising and educating children, is ideal, the reality shows that father involvement in early childhood care remains very limited. This study employs a quantitative correlational method with a sample of 220 fathers in Semarang City, selected using convenience sampling. The study uses two measurement tools: the Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) by Coleman & Karraker, adapted into Indonesian with 36 items. The results of a simple linear regression analysis indicate that parenting self-efficacy has a positive impact on father involvement in stunting prevention. Parenting self-efficacy plays a crucial role in stunting prevention and improving child health. The study also demonstrates that parenting self-efficacy increases father involvement in caregiving, although social and cultural differences may influence this relationship. A lack of father involvement not only increases the risk of stunting but also places a greater burden on mothers, which can negatively impact child well-being.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Emotional development during the preschool years serves as an essential foundation for children's future self-regulation and social competence. One parenting practice that supports emotional development is emotion coaching, which refers to parents’ ability to recognize, accept, and guide children’s emotions constructively. A factor presumed to influence the implementation of emotion coaching is parenting self-efficacy, defined as parents’ belief in their ability to perform parenting tasks effectively. This study aimed to examine the relationship between parenting self-efficacy and emotion coaching among mothers of preschool-aged children. A quantitative correlational design was employed involving 290 mothers with preschool-aged children. Data were collected using the Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) to measure parenting self-efficacy and the emotion coaching subscale of the Maternal Emotional Styles Questionnaire (MESQ) to assess emotion coaching. Data were analyzed using Spearman Rank correlation. The findings revealed no significant relationship between parenting self-efficacy and emotion coaching (p = 0.135; p > 0.05). These results indicate that mothers’ confidence in their parenting abilities is not directly associated with the application of emotion coaching strategies. The findings suggest that other factors, such as emotional knowledge, parenting experiences, child characteristics, and social support, may play a more substantial role in shaping emotion coaching practices among mothers of preschool-aged children. This study contributes to the understanding of factors influencing parental emotional socialization and highlights the need for further research exploring variables beyond parenting self-efficacy. ABSTRAK Perkembangan emosi pada masa prasekolah merupakan fondasi penting bagi kemampuan regulasi diri dan kompetensi sosial anak pada tahap perkembangan berikutnya. Salah satu praktik pengasuhan yang mendukung perkembangan emosi anak adalah emotion coaching, yaitu kemampuan orang tua dalam mengenali, menerima, dan membimbing emosi anak secara konstruktif. Faktor yang diduga berperan dalam penerapan emotion coaching adalah parenting self-efficacy, yaitu keyakinan orang tua terhadap kemampuannya dalam menjalankan tugas pengasuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara parenting self-efficacy dan emotion coaching pada ibu yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional yang melibatkan 290 ibu yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) untuk mengukur parenting self-efficacy dan subskala emotion coaching dari Maternal Emotional Styles Questionnaire (MESQ) untuk mengukur emotion coaching. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara parenting self-efficacy dan emotion coaching (p = 0,135; p > 0,05). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keyakinan ibu terhadap kemampuan pengasuhan yang dimilikinya tidak secara langsung berkaitan dengan penerapan strategi emotion coaching. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemungkinan adanya faktor-faktor lain, seperti pengetahuan tentang emosi, pengalaman pengasuhan, karakteristik anak, maupun dukungan sosial, yang lebih berperan dalam menentukan praktik emotion coaching pada ibu yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah.

Abstract

Migrant university students constitute a unique group. Previous studies have examined the role of self-efficacy in resilience; however, these have generally been limited to academic contexts and adolescent populations. This study extends prior findings by examining an understudied population, namely, migrant university students who experience dual transitions (geographical and developmental). Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of authoritative parenting on resilience with self-efficacy as a mediator among migrant university students in Semarang City.This study employed a quantitative cross-sectional design with 246 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the PSDQ, CD-RISC, and the General Self-Efficacy Scale, and were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results indicate that authoritative parenting has a significant effect on resilience (β = 0.222; p < 0.001) and self-efficacy (β = 0.393; p < 0.001), and that self-efficacy significantly affects resilience (β = 0.474; p < 0.001). Self-efficacy mediates this relationship (β = 0.186; p < 0.001), accounting for 35.7% of the variance in resilience. These findings extend the resilience literature and practically support the development of university counseling services through a “Self-Efficacy Enhancement Based on Self-Actualization” program and seminars on “Building Self-Efficacy through Authoritative Parenting” for parents. Future research is recommended to employ qualitative approaches to further explore other factors not examined in this study.
