Abstract

Mobile phones are getting more sophisticated from year to year, and there are many features that have the latest in these cellphones. Mobile phones have the fastest network today with fourth generation technology so it's not slow to watch videos, play games, study online, and so on. Mobile phones sold have variations of Android and Iphone Operating System. The sale of the cellphones is through mall counters, roadside counters, and street vendor counters. Cellphone sales counters still use tables, cell phone holders, brochures to promote cellphones, and others seem boring, there must be something unique to attract customers' attention. This study aims to develop innovation in selling cellphones that are unique and different from other cellphone stores. The research method uses Deterministic Finite State Automata on the Vending Machine. State Diagram design to define features, main view design, and purchase flow. The results of the study using Deterministic Finite State Automata in the Vending Machine design make it easier for buyers to make purchases of cellphones independently and have their own uniqueness to attract customers' attention

Abstract

Fruit as a traditional food has become a global food, but its sales are still traditionally in markets, minimarkets, and currently there are still using mobile carts. Fruit sales that can be developed in a more modern way are fruit vending machines. To deepen the understanding of one of the most basic computational models, the fruit vending machine design will use the finite state automata method of the mealy machine model. With the finite state automata design, this research has resulted in an automatic fruit vending machine design that can accept input and select a combination of several types of fruit as desired, then will produce the expected output. There is also a choice of payment methods for ease of purchase transactions. Fruit products sold with vending machines are automatically expected to increase added value in the form of automation in order to facilitate purchasing, packaging and product hygiene that can attract consumers widely.

Abstract

Dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan terutama perguruan tinggi, sistem informasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk menunjang segala aktivitas dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika sebagai perguruan tinggi yang tentunya harus mempunyai sarana kegiatan belajar mengajar seperti ruang kelas dan laboratorium. Laboratorium dibutuhkan dalam menunjang proses kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan metode praktikum. Laboratorium pada Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika tentu dalam penggunaannya dibawah tanggung jawab dari staf laboran. Dalam manajemennya sistem peminjaman laboratorium pada universitas Bina Sarana informasi masih menggunakan metode pembukuan manual. Selain Pembuatan laporan penggunaan laboratorium oleh staf laboran yang terkesan lama serta informasi mengenai pemakaian laboratorium yang tidak akurat dan realtime maka dibutuhkanlah sebuah sistem yang dapat memudahkan staf laboran di Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika dalam manajemen peminjaman dan pemakaian laboratorium. Pada Paper ini membahas Teori Finite State Automata (FSA) jenis Nondeterministic Finite Automata (NFA) yang diimplementasikan pada alur proses aplikasi sistem informasi peminjaman laboratorium. Dengan adanya aplikasi sistem peminjaman ini kemudahan dalam pendataan manajemen laboratorium oleh staf laboran ditampilkan dengan monitoring dan status yang akurat. Dimana ketika laboratorium sedang dipakai maka mahasiswa, dosen maupun ketua program studi mengetahui bahwa laboratorium itu sedang dipakai, ataupun jika ingin meminjam laboratorium maka tidak perlu mendatangi staf laboran cukup reservasi menggunakan media sistem informasi dari peminjaman laboratorium ini.
