Abstract

The Ciacia language is a regional language in Indonesia that has used Hangul Korean characters since2008. Before using Hangul script, Ciacia language used Wolio script (but later did not match) and then used Hangulscript. Therefore, in the Ciacia language, Hangul characters can be called contemporary charact ers. This paper aims tofind the right script for the language. The method of study is a comparison method. Comparative study of three letters:Wolio, Latin, and Hangul indicate that Latin characters can be used to write the Ciacia language.

Abstract

This paper discussdabout consonant reflection of Proto-Austronesian that became consonant cluster of homorgan Madurese language in comparative historical linguistic perspective. In the language of Madura, consonant cluster or clusters have homorgan and duplicate identical. It mean that, the double consonants are the same consonants. Consonant cluster was a reflection of a single consonant and consonant cluster Proto-Austronesian. Almost all consonants in the language of Madura was  consonant cluster identity. The Reflection consonant of Proto-Austronesian which became consonant cluster ofMadurese language can be seen through  analogy, assimilation, dissimilation, linear inheritance, and inheritance with the changes.Makalah ini membahas refleksi konsonan Proto-Austronesia menjadi konsonan rangkap homorgan bahasa Madura dalam perspektif linguistik historis komparatif.  Dalam bahasa Madura, konsonan rangkap atau gugus konsonan ada yang yang homorgan dan rangkap identik. Artinya, konsonan rangkap itu merupakan konsonan yang sama.  Konsonan rangkap tersebut merupakan refleksi dari konsonan tunggal dan konsonan rangkap Proto-Austronesia.  Hampir semua konsonan dalam bahasa Madura merupakan konsonan rangkap identik. Refleksi konsonan Proto-Austronesia menjadi konsonan rangkap bahasa Madura dapat melalui analogi, asimilasi, disimilasi, pewarisan linier, dan pewarisan dengan perubahan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of social media, particularly TikTok, which is not only used as a means of entertainment, but also as a medium for conveying social criticism through the use of satire. Satirical content on social media is growing rapidly because it is able to highlight social phenomena in a light, humorous, and close to people's lives, especially the younger generation. Through this phenomenon, this study aims to describe the types of satire, the meaning of satire, and the function of satire in Kelvin Steviano's TikTok content. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research data source is speech containing satire in the TikTok video content of the account @kelvinsteviano1. Data was collected using the listening method with the Listening Free Involvement Conversation (SBLC) technique and note-taking technique. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the referential matching method with the Determining Elements (PUP) technique and the distribution method with the Direct Elements Sharing (BUL) technique. The results found in this study are that there are  three types of satire in 44 data consisting of 7 Horatian satire, 9 Juvenalian satire, and 28 Menippean satire. In addition, three intentions of satire were found in TikTok @kelvinsteviano1, namely satirizing and laughing at 9 data, satirizing and criticizing 27 data, and satirizing and raising awareness 5 data. Then also found three functions of satire which include 4 data entertainment function, 34 data social criticism function, and 6 data satire function as a lesson.
