Abstract

The existence of the city park is important for Jakarta as a metropolitan city with the current activity level of motor vehicles and air pollution greatly affects the quality of the city environment. The selection of vegetation in Mataram Merah park considered functional aspects and aesthetic values . The objective of this study were to determine the composition and type of vegetation landscape in Mataram Merah park and to determine the function of each type of landscape vegetation in Mataram Merah park. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with several stages, which is survey; identification of the name and type of vegetation; size identification; identification of the type of vegetation making up the composition (name of type and size that makes up the vegetation structure). The results showed that Mataram Merah park was generally planted with vegetation that functioned aesthetically rather than functionally. The function of landscape plants in Mataram Merah park were as aesthetics is 96.55%, as controlling view as much as 13.80%, vegetation function as physical barrier as much as 62.07%, plants as controlling erosion 51.72%, function of plants as controlling climate 13.79% and vegetation function for wildlife as much as 17.24%.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM dengan tema Penyuluhan Penghijauan Sempadan Sungai Ciliwung di Kelurahan Srengseng Sawah, Kecamatan Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (1) sebagai wujud pelaksanaan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi oleh dosen Prodi Arsitektur Lanskap, Fakultas Arsitektur Lanskap dan Teknologi Lingkungan, Universitas Trisakti, (2) Untuk mengetahui manfaat ilmu pengetahuan dan praktik penghijauan lingkungan di sempadan sungai Ciliwung. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan di sempadan sungai ciliwung Kelurahan Srengseng Sawah, Kecamatan Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan memberikan ceramah dan praktik menanam pohon tanaman di sepanjang sempadan sungai ciliwung. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM dengan tema Penyuluhan Penghijauan Sempadan Sungai Ciliwung di Kelurahan Srengseng Sawah, Kecamatan Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan, disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat yang berada di wilayah sempadan sungai ciliwung Kelurahan Srengseng Sawah, Kecamatan Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan, semakin memahami dan merasakan manfaat dari penyuluhan penghijauan sempadan sungai ciliwung. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan tentang penghijaun di sempadan sungai ciliwung Kelurahan Srengseng Sawah, Kecamatan Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan sangat sesuai dengan kondisi sempadan sungai ciliwung yang rawan erosi dan longsor.

Abstract

Ciliwung River School Yard Jakarta management is still natural and dominated by similar ornamental plants. Lack of knowledge and skills of partners regarding using their yards for planting fruit trees can increase economic value and reforestation. This program aims to improve knowledge and skills in cultivating fruit trees on the grounds of the Ciliwung river school in Jakarta. The method used in implementing this community service is through the stages of program socialization, counseling and demonstrations, planting fruit trees in the pilot garden of the Ciliwung River School. The results obtained with this counseling can help partners increase their knowledge and information about using yards for productive and economical fruit tree plants.

Abstract

Perubahan penggunaan lahan menjadi ancaman diperkotaan, semakin berkurangnya lahan, yang dikonversi untuk kepentingan sektor pembangunan berdampak terhadap keberlanjutan ketahanan pangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 bulan, dimulai Juni sampai Agustus 2020. Tujuan penelitian mendesain model lanskap agroforestri untuk ketahanan pangan dan perbaikan ekologi lingkungan pada sempadan Sungai Condet di DAS Ciliwung Tengah Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei langsung ke lapangan untuk mengupulkan data primer maupun data sekunder. Data primer dan data sekunder dianalisis secara deskriptif sebagai dasar pertimbangan dalam membuat model desain lanskap agroforestri sempadan sungai yang tepat untuk diterapkan di lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model desain akan membagi area sempadan menjadi tiga zona sesuai dengan karakter sungai. Setiap zona akan didesain sesuai dengan kebutuhan lingkungan dan masyarakat setempat, serta sesuai kriteria dari sebuah agroforesti. Melalui model desain ini diharapkan selain ketahanan pangan dapat tercapai dan kualitas lingkungan dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

The population growth rate is a factor that causes changes in land use that impact land ecology due to increased population activities related to social, economic, and cultural aspects. Land use change aims to develop facilities and infrastructure to meet the population's needs. This research seeks to interpret land-use changes in 1999, 2008, and 2019 and predict land use in the Peusangan watershed in 2030. The map overlay method analyzes land use change in 1999-2008, 2008-2019, and 2019-2030. In predicting land use, this study uses the Cellular Automata approach. The results of the analysis specifically show that the trend of land use change until 2030 is a decrease in the area of forest land use covering an area of 11,014 ha (4.27%), open land covering an area of 31 ha (0.01%), shrubs 6,083 ha (2.36%), and water bodies covering an area of 459 ha (0.18%). On the other hand, it is predicted that in 2030 the Peusangan watershed will see the most significant increase in land use for plantations of 14,225 ha (5.52%), followed by land use of 1,664 ha (0.65%), 817 ha (0.32%), settlements covering 710 ha (0.28%), 132 ha of rice fields (0.05%), and 28 ha of pond land use (0.01%). The results of this study are expected to be input for policymakers regarding land use planning in the Peusangan watershed in the future

Abstract

The University of Indonesia boasts numerous green open spaces, including the Rector's Area. However, both the softscape and hardscape elements of the University of Indonesia Rectorate Area need to be well-maintained. The outdoor space's physical maintenance needs to meet standard requirements. This study aims to describe the softscape and hardscape conditions in the rectorate area of the University of Indonesia. Qualitative methods were employed for this investigation. Data was gathered via direct observations and interviews concerning the maintenance conditions at the University of Indonesia campus. A descriptive data analysis was conducted to discuss the identified problems. The findings indicate that the Rectorate Area of the University of Indonesia covers both softscape and hardscape maintenance activities. The maintenance of trees, shrubs, and plants aligns with the existing standards, while hardscape maintenance fails to meet these requirements due to several substandard elements. These maintenance issues encompass bus stops, bicycle stands, pedestrian pavements, and seating areas. Attention must be paid to various aspects, including rust, as this indicates the need for repainting.

Abstract

DAAR El-Qolam Islamic Boarding School, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, has an area of ​​around 20 hectares. The development and arrangement of green open spaces is not good, the condition of open spaces in Islamic boarding schools is generally only grass fields and a few trees which are still wide. The DAAR El-Qolam Islamic Boarding School land has the potential to be developed and utilized for an eco-Islamic boarding school program in the form of a productive landscape. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential of green open space at Daar El-Qolam 3 boarding school as a productive landscape, to find out land use as a productive landscape that provides landscape elements, and to support aspects of agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and other productive businesses that can be used. as an educational medium at the Daar El-Qolam Islamic Boarding School 3. Data collection in this study used survey, interview, observation, and documentation methods. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the development of Islamic boarding schools Daar El-Qolam 3. Land use in open space areas as productive landscapes can optimize the function of land use for agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and productive businesses.
