Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) is the foundation to face business competition. Organizational strategies related to HRM create satisfaction among employees so that employees perform well and can create a competitive advantage for their organization. The need for human resources in the hospital industry has developed along with the availability of hospitals reaching 2813 hospitals in Indonesia. This of course requires superior human resources performance. HRM practices are expected to drive human resources performance and achieve a competitive advantage in the hospital industry. This study will examine the effect of HRM practices, namely training, performance appraisal, and compensation systems on employee performance. Furthermore, this study will also examine the role of job satisfaction to mediate HRM practices on employee performance. The study was conducted in a private hospital in the Surakarta area with a sample of 120 respondents. Convenience sampling technique as a sampling method used to collect samples using a questionnaire. SmartPLS is used to analyze research data. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect on HRM Practices (training, performance appraisal, compensation system) on employee performance. However, job satisfaction only mediates the effect of performance appraisal and compensation system on employee performance, while job satisfaction does not play a role in mediating the effect of training on employee performance..

Abstract

The research purposes were 1) determined the effect of the interest rate on the decision to take homeownership loans at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Solo Branch Office; and 2) determined the effect of service quality on the decision to take the homeownership loans at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Solo Branch Office. The research population is customers of PT. Bank BTN Solo Branch Office that takes non-subsidized BTN homeownership loans. Samples were 70 respondents. The questionnaire used in the study used a Likert scale with intervals of 1 to 5. The test equipment was used a reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha and a validity test was used Product Moment Pearson correlation. Data analysis was used multiple linear regression to determine the effect of interest rates and service quality on the decision making to take homeownership loans at BTN Solo. The results showed that the variable interest rate had a significant positive result, while service quality had a negative result on the purchase decision to take homeownership loans at PT. Bank BTN Solo Branch Office.

Abstract

The research purposes was determined the effect of leadership style, compensation, motivation, and work discipline on the productivity of the employees of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Surakarta Branch Office. This research was used descriptive method and the sample used 60 respondents with a sampling technique used the accidental sampling method. Data collection methods are questionnaires, observations, interviews and literature study. The research instrument was used the linkert scale method with 5 answer criteria. Hypothesis test results consisting of the results of the analysis of multiple linear regression equations shown the value of beta (β) of each variables of leadership style, compensation, motivation and work discipline shows a positive number. The results of the t test analysis showed that each variable has a value of tcount > t table and has a significance value
