Abstract

Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, penggunaan data mining di dunia pendidikan yang dikenal sebagai educational data mining (EDM) semakin berkembang. Namun sebagian besar penggunaan itu dilakukan pada data yang berasal dari pendidikan berbasis web, komputer, dan e-learning. Padahal sebagian besar institusi pendidikan, terutama di negara-negara berkembang masih menggunakan sistem kelas tradisional. Data yang didapat dari kelas tradisional ini belum dieksploitasi dengan baik untuk memberikan dukungan dan bimbingan bagi siswa demi meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Program studi Teknik Komputer merupakan salah satu program studi favorit di Politeknik Negeri Padang. Tahun pertama perkuliahan terutama semester pertama merupakan masa yang krusial bagi mahasiswa baru prodi Teknik Komputer. Proses pendidikan di program studi Teknik Komputer didukung data hasil studi (nilai) mahasiswa tiap semesternya. Penggunaan data mining terhadap data hasil studi mahasiswa pada semester pertama diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan mata kuliah apa saja yang paling krusial dalam menentukan kelulusan mahasiswa pada semester pertama. Pada penelitian ini, data mining diterapkan menggunakan model proses CRISP-DM yang menyediakan proses standar penggunaan data mining pada berbagai bidang. Metode pohon keputusan (algoritma C4.5 dan CART) digunakan dalam klasifikasi karena hasil metode ini mudah dipahami dan diinterpretasikan. Kalkulus, Fisika, Algoritma dan Pemrogramaan, Pengantar TI, dan Praktek Dasar Pemorgraman merupakan mata kuliah paling krusial pada semester pertama.

Abstract

Bidikmisi is a scholarship provided by Indonesian Government. This scholarship is for outstanding studentscoming from poor family. The importance of this scholarship is for the sustainability of education inIndonesia and it needs a system to support it. This paper discusses the development of BidikmisiInformation System Web and Android Based. The design tool was by using Unified Modelling Language(UML). The software equipment implementation was web based using Lavarel framework aiming forregistration data validation. While android application is aimed for the supporting aid when visitation. Theresults of the examination obtain 45,86% data of the registrants are invalid.

Abstract

The network administrator is a person who is responsible for managing computer networks. One of the duties of a network administrator is network monitoring because errors on the server and services running on the server cannot be known when it happened. This can be difficult if the administrator is far from a surveillance center. This situation can be fatal if there is an error on the server and suddenly the service from the server is not running properly without being noticed because the network administrator is not on the spot. By utilizing Prometheus and Grafana with a telegram notification system that uses a Linux-based server, network administrators can get information on server conditions and services running on the server quickly. The result obtained is a system that is able to assist network administrators in monitoring servers and services that are running on the server anytime and anywhere to keep servers and services running on the server stable even though the network administrator is not in the monitoring center

Abstract

Computer network is a technology that is widely used by companies that functions to connect one location to another. The use of the internet as a communication medium is not only very beneficial for the company, but still has weaknesses in terms of security. The obstacles faced are how to access data in the office and turn employee devices into a network required for API testing without having to come directly to the office, of course with a very adequate level of security. The solution that can be used for this problem is to build an OpenVPN server as a tunnel to be applied to help employees access the office network or other employees. Abstract

Water is a basic human need that plays the most important role in human life in order to sustain human life. As time goes by, the need for clean water is very much needed by the community. The high need for water is the driving force for practical drinking water. In this final project, the application is made using Android Studio as a text editor, Sublime as a text editor to create an API, and MySQL which is useful as a system manager on the database on the server. In the application there is access as a customer, depot owner and as an introduction to gallons. The customer will then process the gallon water order and the depot owner will process the order that has been placed by the customer and send the order data to the gallon controller. When the gallon delivery person delivers the order, the customer can access the gallon delivery tracking process. Keywords: Android java, API, Tracking

Abstract

In the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are an important necessity for the community. The use of masks is very important to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. During the current pandemic, the Padang State Polytechnic campus allows students to visit the library on the terms and conditions that students must comply with health protocols. However, there are still many students who do not comply with health protocols, especially in using masks. Therefore, a tool that can detect masks is needed to protect/prevent people who do not wear masks from wearing masks when visiting the library in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The face detection system is masked or not using python version 3 with the OpenCV library, and Tensorflow. This system uses a webcam, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, and Buzzer. The webcam is used to capture the image of the mask user. The captured image will be processed and classified on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. A buzzer will sound if the classification result is a face without a mask. The tool will be equipped with displaying the results of monitoring library visitor data in the form of a website using AWS EC2 as the infrastructure

Abstract

The need for food is one of the main human needs. In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the businesses that has survived is the business of providing food or culinary. With the advancement of technology, various media and methods have been successfully developed to market food products. The catering business is a business that is quite popular in the culinary field. In the city of Padang there are more than 30 catering businesses but most of them still do traditional marketing. So far, the process of searching and ordering catering in the city of Padang is still using a manual system, through advertisements in mass media and electronic media as well as through word of mouth promotion systems. This study aims to build an application that provides catering information. The research was conducted using the waterfall method which resulted in an application built with the android platform so that it can be accessed by users using smartphones. This application has succeeded in providing information about a list of menu options, prices and equipped with ordering features and location search features.

Abstract

This fire detection system provides a fire early warning. This system works using both fire sensor and temperature sensor that is connected to Arduino UNO and Ethernet shield as a link to the internet network. All data obtained by the sensor will be saved in the database. If the data obtained by the sensor reaches a predetermined condition there will be a notification in the form of the system location and notification in the form of text messages to the user smartphone application. Abstract

Every pregnancy has a different level of risk. Many pregnant women do not know the risks of their pregnancy so that it can cause death for the baby or for the pregnant woman. Therefore we need an expert system that can help detect early risks of these pregnancies. The use of the Poedji Rochjati Score Card in determining high risk pregnancies with reference to the values contained in the Poedji Rochjati Score. With the design of this expert system, it is hoped that it can help pregnant women in knowing the early risks of the pregnancy they are carrying, whether they have a high risk or not for their pregnancy. The use of the Certainty Factor and Forward Chaining methods in making an expert system is expected to assist in making decisions later for pregnant women who will carry out the delivery process so as to avoid risky pregnancies and can carry out treatment quickly and precisely. The test results from the high-risk pregnancy screening expert system from the data tested using the Certainty Factor method are 100%, while the Forward Chaining accuracy rate is 80%.
