Abstract

To make a communication with a hearing-impaired person, who is someone who has a problem with hearing ability, a special form of communication using sign language is required in order to make the purpose of the conversation convey properly. It is clearly that providing a proper and appropriate education for hearing impaired person is very important. Android technology is the best and useful solution for hearing-impaired person in learning as today's technological developments. The purpose of this research was to make an Android-based application for hearing impaired person. Scrum method was used to find and utilize existing libraries as well as the needs for application development. This application provides various kinds of subject from videos and documents uploaded by the teachers. It can be downloaded of it, if it is needed. It means that the users can study anytime and anywhere without concerning of limited time and internet access. Other features of the application are quiz, make schedule, event, chat, memory game, and other features to maximize the online learning process for hearing-impaired person.

Abstract

Feedback Information System Teaching and Learning Against Web-Based Teaching Staff In the Department of Information Technology Padang State Polytechnic is an information system that receives feedback from the learning process of students to teaching staff in the form of questionnaires, to then process and provide the necessary information. This system can be accessed by many users at the same time. Users of this system consists of students, operators, administrator, and faculty leaders. The system is built using PHP programming language and MySQL database server. This system could make it easier, save time and reduce errors in entering, process and provide information on the results of data processing questionnaires. While limitations are only limited to faculty assessment only and limited to the processing of assessment ratio.

Abstract

Department of Information Technology Padang State Polytechnic growing rapidly, the number of students and the amount of data will increase too. However, these conditions will bring complex problems to the department to manage it in quantitative and qualitative way. How complicated the problems faced when there are a lot of data that needs to be processed, and if it goes wrong it needs a long time to find, fix and change it. To minimize the errors and redundancies in processing the data, the department requires an academic information system. This system will manage student grades, final assignment and job training data at Information Technology Department. This web based Academic Information System was develop by using object oriented concept and JAVA especially J2EE technology as programming language and MYSQL Server as database. This system also design by using UML(Unified Modeling Language).

Abstract

The Nazhafa Garbage Bank is part of a Municipally owned corporation called BUMnag Pekandangan Emas, Padang Pariaman City. Cash data processing is still written in a book and MS Excel files. This resulted in the data not being recorded optimally. It takes long time to search for data, process transaction data and sometimes late payment of salaries to officers. Therefore, an information system for cash receipts and disbursements and remuneration was built at the Nazhafa Garbage Bank. This information system is built using codeigniter framework and MySQL DBMS. The final result is an information system that processes cash and salary data. With this system, you can record sales, record purchases, and record salaries every day or every month. This system can minimize the possibility of errors in data. This system improves the management performance of the Nazhafa Waste Bank. Bank Sampah Nazhafa merupakan bagian dari badan usaha milik nagari atau disingkat dengan BUMnag Pakandangan Emas Kota Padang Pariaman. Pengolahan data kas masih ditulis dalam buku agenda, memerlukan waktu lama untuk mencari data, mengolah data transaksi pada data penerimaan dan pengeluaran kas, dan pemberian gaji ke pegawai. Sistem informasi penerimaan dan pengeluaran kas serta penggajian dibangun untuk mengelola data penerimaan kas dan pengeluaran kas serta penggajian pada Bank Sampah Nazhafa. Sistem ini menggunakan framework codeigniter dan DBMS MySQL. Hasil akhir didapati sebuah sistem informasi yang melakukan pengolahan data kas dan data gaji, mendata penjualan, mendata pembelian, dan mendata gaji setiap hari ataupun setiap bulannya. Sistem ini meningkatkan kinerja pengelolaan pada Bank Sampah Nazhafa.

Abstract

Jurusan Teknologi Informasi Politeknik Negeri Padang dirasa perlu memanfaatkan teknologi mobile client server dalam mengelola informasi nilai mahasiswa menggunakan Java Micro Edition sebagai client agent dan PHP-MySQL sebagai server. Client akan melakukan proses request data nilai dan melakukan interaksi dengan server melalui koneksi HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol). Sedangkan server merupakan penyedia layanan informasi nilai seperti data mahasiswa, data nilai permatakuliah ,data nilai persemester, dan dan data IPK mahasiswa. Pada penelitian ini aplikasi bekerja dengan beberapa tahap, pertama user diminta mengaktifkan aplikasi Sistem Informasi nilai berbasis mobile yang telah diinstal pada handphone. Aplikasi membuka koneksi HTTP menggunakan Generic Connection Framework (GCF). Untuk membuka jalur koneksi ke PHP, javax.microedition.io.* menyediakan class HttpConection yang berfungsi untuk membuka jalur koneksi ke alamat yang dituju menggunakan Connector.open() melalui jaringan GPRS. Kemudian melalui script PHP yang ada pada web server mengambil data dari database MySQL berdasarkan permintaan informasi data nilai dari user. Setelah data diambil oleh aplikasi data akan diload pada aplikasi berupa text. Sehingga diharapkan mahasiswa dapat dengan mudah mengakses data nilai dimanapun berada, baik secara mobile maupun langsung mengakses melalui web. Pendekatan penelitian yang penulis lakukan untuk pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah pendekatan metode Object Oriented Design menggunakan Unified Modelling Language.

Abstract

The development of information technology rapidly nowadays and lead to mobile development. In this thesis, will be built an android base application which is useful for health because it helps people who have difficulty getting donors and registers to carry out blood donor activities, so people don’t need to look for donors by posting broadcasts on social media because the application will help the process of finding donors to donate blood. This application uses Open Street Maps to get the address of the donor so the recipient can pick up blood and take it to PMI. This application also uses JWT Token to save the login session of each user who enters the application. This application use the internet connection to communicate with AWS server which already installed with Mysql and Apache inside of it. This application is built by Java programming language and use database Mysql. For interaction between android and server that is built an API based on the PHP programming language with PDO method. The result of this thesis will show question and result obtained by student at the time when finish doing the exam on the application

Abstract

Online attendance system with the use of raspberries as a local server to synchronize system data on the server and attendance data processing, nodemcu as a tool that can transmit hostpot signals for attendance and android connected to the nodemcu hostpot with the android application for each event attendance in taking attendance . In this system Attendance can be taken at a distance of less than 30 meters by utilizing the nodemcu hostpot signal, an attendance device with additional battery power in anticipation of a main power outage, a local Raspberry pi server that is always synchronized with a public server so that when the internet network dies requesting attendance can still be processed and stored, the application that stores the mac address of the event participants so that there is only one warak on one user to minimize attendance cheating fraud, attendance taking and event permits can be done on the android application, taking attendance allows can be taken together to overcome attendance taking . This attendance system utilizes Restfult API technology with JavaScript Express programming framework, microcontroller with Arduino IDE C programming, websites with React.js JavaScript programming framework, and android applications with React Native JavaScript programming. In the design of this attendance system has several methods, namely problem identification, literature study, consultation, system analysis, system design, and implementation. The result of this system is a system that can streamline the taking and minimize attendance fraud

Abstract

In the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are an important necessity for the community. The use of masks is very important to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. During the current pandemic, the Padang State Polytechnic campus allows students to visit the library on the terms and conditions that students must comply with health protocols. However, there are still many students who do not comply with health protocols, especially in using masks. Therefore, a tool that can detect masks is needed to protect/prevent people who do not wear masks from wearing masks when visiting the library in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The face detection system is masked or not using python version 3 with the OpenCV library, and Tensorflow. This system uses a webcam, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, and Buzzer. The webcam is used to capture the image of the mask user. The captured image will be processed and classified on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. A buzzer will sound if the classification result is a face without a mask. The tool will be equipped with displaying the results of monitoring library visitor data in the form of a website using AWS EC2 as the infrastructure

Abstract

Di era yang serba canggih dan terbuka ini penggunaan media informasi berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi bagi suatu lembaga sangat diperlukan karena terbukti dapat meningkatkan visibilitas / kehadiran lembaga, menyediakan informasi profil lembaga secara detail, mengkomunikasikan produk dan jasa lembaga, meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan meningkatkan kredibilitas lembaga. Dengan demikian kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PkM)ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan media informasi dan komunikasi antara rumah tahfizh dengan masyarakat. Mitra dalm PkM ini adalah Rumah Tahfizh Ahlul Quran yang sudah beroperasi cukup lama dan sudah menjalankan berbagai program dan kegiatan, namun masih belum mempunyai media informasi dan komunikasi yang efektif. PkM ini menghasilkan sebuah produk situs web profil dan sosialisasi bagi staf yang mengelola web.

Abstract

Pencatatan keuangan di Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) Astek masih menggunakan buku. Ada beberapa buku yang digunakan, pertama buku yang langsung di tulis ketika pertemuan bulanan dan buku yang di tulis rapi sebagai catatan ulang keuangan. Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan microsoft excel dalam pencatatan keuangan koperasi yang ada di kota Padang. Koperasi yang dimaksud adalah KSP Astek. Bentuk metoda pelatihan yang dilaksanakan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu: 1. Pelatihan penggunaan Microsoft Excel, 2. Pelatihan pencatatan keuangan koperasi, 3. Pelatihan administrasi dan 4. Pendampingan. Semua metode ini merupakan satu kesatuan dari program ini. Target yang dicapai pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pelatihan yang cukup bagi pengurus dan anggota koperasi tentang manajemen keuangan koperasi.
