Abstract

Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) is a global pandemic that affects the work systems of employees and influences the work-life balance employees. This empirical study was conducted on teachers and lecturers in Indonesia who had to implement a remote work system or work from home to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The objectives of this study were: 1) to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of working from home; 2) to analyze the differences in work-life balance between teachers and lecturers in Indonesia,before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The questionnaire distribution survey was done through the Google form application, which was distributed through social media such as Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp Group, and e-mail to the teacher and lecturer communities. Respondents willing to participate in filling out the questionnaire were 108 participants, consisting of 52 lecturers and 56 teachers from various educational organizations in several Indonesian provinces. The analysis showed that there were several advantages and disadvantages to working from home. Advantages that were generally felt by educators included flexible working time, closeness to family, increased technological mastery, and maintained health. Disadvantages that were generally felt wereirregular rhythms/patterns of work, which cause unclear work and non-work boundaries, and an increase in operational costs such as the internet and electricity. The results of the statistical analysis of the Paired Sample t-Test revealed that: 1) there was a significant difference in the work-life balance of educators before and during work from home; 2) from the teacher group, there was an increase in the aspect of work-life balance during work from home. However, statistically, the difference was not significant. While from the lecturer group, statistically, the increase in work-life balance was significant.Keywords-Covid-19, Work from home, Work-life balance.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires almost all human activity to shift to digital media, including education services. Now, education services must adapt to online learning methods. This change is a challenge for Indonesian education, which must also prepare students to adapt to face the challenges of the era of Society 5.0. This study aims to obtain information about online learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic at the junior, senior, vocational, and university levels in Indonesia. Researchers also analyzed the differences in the mastery of learning technology in students and educators. This study used a questionnaire distributed via Google forms to students and educators using Facebook, e-mail, and WhatsApp Group (WAG). The total sample in this study was 108 educators and 386 students. From the independent sample t-test test, the following results were obtained: the mastery ability of MS office software and online learning technology in students was higher than students with significant differences; there was no significant difference between teacher and lecturer perceptions regarding the role of learning technology in the classroom and on the educational process of students. The success of online learning was highly dependent on several integrated components, such as students, educators, learning resources, and the technology used. The researcher also found several disadvantages of online learning, such as student discipline, lack of internet access, and lack of social interaction, common challenges for educational organizations and stakeholders.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh dimensi keadilan organisasional yang meliputi distributive justice, procedural justice, dan interactional justice terhadap kepuasan kerja baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan dengan sampel penelitian adalah pegawai tetap PT POS INDONESIA (Persero) Madiun yang berjumlah 60 pegawai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa ketiga dimensi keadilan organisasi yaitu distributive justice , procedural justice, dan interactional justice berpengaruh positif terhadap job satisfaction baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka penelitian selanjutnya perlu mengembangkan riset tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja dan dapat menambah variabel lain seperti komitmen organisasi. Untuk mengeksplorasi hasil temuan lebih lanjut, dapat menambah obyek penelitian seperti pegawai di kantor cabang yang ada di wilayah Madiun, atau dapat mengganti obyek penelitian di organisasi lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji signifikansi pengaruh dari self efficacy dan self esteem terhadap job satisfaction, dan menguji signifikansi pengaruh secara simultan self efficacy dan self esteem terhadap job satisfaction. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai tetap PDAM Tirta Taman Sari Kota Madiun dengan jumlah sampel 101 responden yang diambil secara keseluruhan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan variabel self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job satisfaction, self esteem berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job satisfaction, serta variabel self esfficacy dan self esteem secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap job satisfaction. Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah jumlah sampel yang digunakan relatif terbatas sehingga perlu melakukan riset yang lebih luas lagi dengan menambah obyek penelitian atau mengganti obyek penelitian. Self efficacy dan self esteem berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. PDAM Tirta Taman Sari Kota Madiun perlu melakukan meningkatan perhatian kepada karyawanya agar kepuasan kerja karyawan dapat menghasilkan kerja yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to prove empirically the effect of transformational leadership, organizational cultures, and a reward of employee engagement PT Rajawali Hiyoto Malang. Samples in this research is 42 employees of PT Rajawali Hiyoto Malang, the criteria have minimum of high school education or equivalent and a minimum term of 4 years. The results showed that the variables of transformational leadership and organization culture had no effect on employee engagement PT Rajawali Hiyoto Malang, while the variable reward positive significant effect on employee engagement PT Rajawali Hiyoto Malang. The company should maintain a reward system, so that with increasing employee engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variabel anteseden OCB perawat RSI Siti Aisyah Madiun yang terdiri dari dua variabel yang dikaji yaitu the big five personality dan organizational commitment. Analisis pengaruh keduan variabel tersebut dilakukan baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat RSI Siti Aisyah Madiun dengan jumlah 65 orang yang diambil dengan teknik disproportionate stratified randem sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa perawat RSI Siti Aisyah Madiun memiliki nilai rata-rata tinggi pada masing-masing variabel (the big five personality, organizational commitment dan organizational citizenship behavior) dan hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan variabel the big five personality dan organizational commitment secara simultan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap OCB, the big five personality secara parsial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap OCB dan organizational commitment secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB.

Abstract

Memiliki SDM yang kompeten dalam bidang tugasnya merupakan keunggulan suatu perusahaan. Karyawan yang kompeten dan berkontribusi pada penciptaan keunggulan bersaing perusahaan disebut karyawan yang bertalenta. Manajemen talenta diperlukan untuk memperoleh, mengembangkan dan mempertahankan karyawan yang bertalenta tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen talenta yang dilihat dari dimensi dukungan manajerial, pengembangan karir, dan penghargaan pengakuan terhadap keterikatan karyawan PT INKA Multi Solusi Service. Sampel penelitian ini adalah karyawan tetap PT INKA Multi Solusi Service yang berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda yang diolah menggunakan program aplikasi SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan dan secara parsial manajemen talenta yang terdiri dari dimensi dukungan manajerial, pengembangan karir, dan penghargaan pengakuan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterikatan karyawan tetap PT INKA Multi Solusi Service.
