Abstract

Improving the attitude of the family in the task of health maintenance in order to be able to take good care of yourself and family members so as to improve the quality of life and prevent further complications of the disease can be done with counseling. The purpose of the study was to find out the influence of family attitudes on the prevention of grade II hypertension before and after health education in the working area of Kibang Budi Jaya Health Center, Lambu Kibang District, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. This type of research is quantitative with One Group's quasi-experimental approach to pre-test and post-test design. The population is a family member of people with hypertension in Kibang Budi Jaya District Lambu Kibang West Onion Regency as many as 413 people and a sample of 203 people. Data analysis uses statistical tests of dependent t tests. Pre-test group and post-test design.The population is a family member of people with hypertension in Kibang Budi Jaya District Lambu Kibang West Onion Regency as many as 413 people and a sample of 203 people. The results showed that there was an influence on family attitudes towards the prevention of hypertension grade complications before and after Health Education in the Kibang Budi work area. Puskesmas Jaya, Lambu Kibang District, Tulang Bawang Regency with a value of p = 0,000.The advice, for puskesmas is expected to implement effective counseling is to increase frequency counseling by making regular schedules, the use of interesting props (demonstrations) when counseling such as food / beverage sample pantomimes is the concern of respondents in receiving counseling materials, good audio visual facilities and homogeneous extension of participants so as not to hinder the reception of information. So it will have an impact on the change in family attitude towards the prevention of hypertension complications.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred since 2019 has caused changes, especially in the education sector. Educational activities that were initially carried out face-to-face turned into an online system as an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The purpose of this study is to determine the motivation of students in attending lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic. The type of research is quantitative with a descriptive research design. The population in this study was students of the Nursing Study Program at Mitra Indonesia University as many as ± 387 students with sampling techniques using snowball sampling, with a total sample of 94 responders. The results of the study found that the type of lecture media most often used was zoom meetings, which were 61 respondents (64.9%), the motivation of students in attending lectures was mostly not good, namely as many as 50 respondents (53.1%). This research can be a foundation for educators to increase student motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic by utilizing various digital platforms or modifying the learning process with blended learning methods.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 19 or what we know as Covid-19 is a disease caused by coronavirus that can cause respiratory infections with mild to severe symptoms. Covid-19 disease can be prevented by the community if the community implements covid prevention measures such as using masks, diligently washing hands and keeping a distance. Preliminary preliminary survey note that the majority of respondents have not implemented the co-19 prevention behavior properly. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors that influence co-19 prevention behavior in Bandar Lampung. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive analytic cross sectional design. The population and research sample using cluster sampling namely using 10 regions included in the Bandar Lampung area of ​​100 respondents. The research instrument used questionnaire sheets that had been tested for validity. Data analysis using chi square test. The results obtained data that there is a relationship between age (p-value 0.017), there is no gender relationship (p-value 0.878), there is a relationship between the level of education (p-value 0.000), there is a relationship of knowledge about covid-19 (p-value 0.029) with covid-19 disease prevention behavior in Bandar Lampung. The conclusion is that factors related to co-19 disease prevention behavior are age, education level, and knowledge of co-19. Suggestions should provide information about co-19 and the importance of co-19 prevention behavior continue to be given to the public. Keywords: Predisposing Factors, Behavioral Prevention, Covid-19

Abstract

year to year. Hypertension can be treated pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically, one of which is slow deep breathing. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of slow deep breathing on blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at the Negeri Baru Health Center, Umpu Semenguk Way Kanan District in 2023. This type of quantitative research, the design in this research uses a Quasi Experimental design using the One Group Pretest – Posttest Design approach. The population in this study were 177 people suffering from hypertension at the Negeri Baru Community Health Center, Umpu Semenguk Way Kanan District, as of September 2023 and a research sample of 61 respondents. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling. Based on statistical tests, the T test obtained a p-value of 0.000, or p-value < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of slow deep breathing on blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at the Negeri Baru Health Center, Umpu Semenguk District, Way Kanan Regency. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide health information for respondents at the Negeri Baru Health Center, Umpu Semenguk District, Way Kanan Regency.
