Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of re-routing bus lane corridor on some performance indicators. The Tangerang Bus Lane is taken as a case study. The discussion is focused on comparison of service planning performance indicators such ridership, passenger-km, and bus-km. A primary survey on bus operational characteristics and user attitude is conducted. Prior to the analysis, some basic formula is derivedand modified and, then, performance indicators for both route option are estimated. The analysis is conducted by comparing the estimated indicators. The result shows that the alternative route gives better performance and yields to a need of re-evaluating the originally proposed route.Keywords: Bus lane, performance indicator, ridership, service productivity

Abstract

Abstract With the operation of the Electric Rail Train in the Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priok route at the end of 2015, it is estimated that there is a potential for the transfer of passengers from other modes to the Electric Rail Train. The purpose of this study is to estimate the factors that influence passenger preferences in traveling on the Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priok route and form a demand analysis tool in the form of a modal choice model. The analysis was carried out using the binomial logit model approach which was developed based on the stated preference survey results on public transportation passengers that traveled on the similar route as the route where the Electric Rail Train operates. The factors included in the stated preference survey were obtained through literature studies and interviews, and through a pilot survey 3 factors were chosen which most influenced the mode choice. Based on the results of the correlation test, it was found that the variable that most influences the mode choice is the tariff. Keywords: passenger preferences, choice model, stated preference, tariff  Abstrak Dengan beroperasinya Kereta Rel Listrik rute Jakarta Kota–Tanjung Priok pada akhir tahun 2015, diperkirakan terdapat potensi perpindahan penumpang dari moda lainnya ke Kereta Rel Listrik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperkirakan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi preferensi penumpang dalam melakukan perjalanan di rute Jakarta Kota–Tanjung Priok dan membentuk perangkat analisis permintaan berbentuk model pemilihan moda. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan model logit binomial yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil survei stated preference terhadap penumpang angkot yang melalui rute yang sama dengan rute Kereta Rel Listrik. Faktor-faktor yang dimasukkan dalam survei stated preference diperoleh melalui studi literatur dan wawancara, dan melalui survei pilot dipilih 3 faktor yang dinilai paling memengaruhi pilihan moda. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi ditemukan bahwa variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pilihan moda adalah tarif. Kata-kata kunci: preferensi penumpang, model pemilihan, stated preference, tarif

Abstract

The Jakarta LRT construction plan will continue from the Velodrome to Dukuh Atas. However, there is already a Transjakarta Corridor-4 service in the same corridor for the Pulogadung 2- Dukuh Atas 2 route, which has an overlap rate of more than 80%. This study aims to analyze the best policy regarding the operational status of the Transjakarta Pulogadung 2 – Dukuh Atas 2 route when the Jakarta LRT Velodrome – Dukuh Atas route operates based on the preference of Transjakarta users for the LRT tariff plan. Transjakarta user preferences are obtained from the binomial logit model with a utility function built from the stated preference survey results. The utility function was developed using the logistic regression approach through the Spearman correlation test, the Omnibus and Hosmer and Lemeshow feasibility tests, and the validity test using the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) method. Based on the research analysis, the operational status of Transjakarta will greatly depend on the LRT tariff that will be imposed later. ABSTRAK Rencana pembangunan LRT Jakarta akan dilanjutkan dari Velodrome hingga Dukuh Atas. Namun, saat ini di koridor yang sama sudah ada layanan Transjakarta Koridor-4 rute Pulogadung 2- Dukuh Atas 2 yang tingkat tumpang tindih rutenya lebih dari 80%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan terbaik terkait status operasional Transjakarta rute Pulogadung 2 – Dukuh Atas 2 ketika LRT Jakarta rute Velodrome – Dukuh Atas beroperasi berdasarkan preferensi pengguna Transjakarta terhadap rencana tarif LRT. Preferensi pengguna Transjakarta diperoleh dari model logit binomial dengan fungsi utilitas yang dibangun dari hasil survei stated preference. Fungsi utilitas dikembangkan dengan pendekatan regresi logistik melalui uji korelasi Spearman, uji kelayakan Omnibus dan Hosmer and Lemeshow, dan uji validitas dengan metode Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Berdasarkan analisis penelitian, status operasional Transjakarta akan sangat tergantung dari besaran tarif LRT yang diberlakukan nanti.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the preferences of public vehicle and motorcycle users for Tram services in Bogor City. The analysis method in this study uses a binary logit model based on the results of primary survey data with the Stated Preference method. The utility function model is built with logistic regression grouped by travel characteristics and transportation modes. The formation of utility functions was built with correlated and significant variables and selected through the stepwise method. Each utility function was tested for feasibility using the Omnibus Test of Model Coefficients and the Hosmer and Lameshow Test. Furthermore, a validation test was conducted using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). After that, the best model selection was carried out, and two models were selected with the most influential variables, tariff and waiting time. Based on the model built, the analysis results show that the proposed fare and waiting time services can attract or move public vehicle and motorcycle users significantly. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis preferensi pengguna angkutan umum dan motor terhadap layanan “Tram” di Kota Bogor. Metode analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan model logit biner berdasarkan hasil data survei primer dengan metode Stated Preference. Model fungsi utilitas dibangun dengan regresi logistik yang dikelompokkan berdasarkan karakteristik perjalanan dan moda transportasi. Pembentukan fungsi utilitas dibangun dengan variabel yang berkorelasi dan signifikan serta terpilih melalui metode stepwise. Setiap fungsi utilitas diuji kelayakannya dengan uji Omnibus Test of Model Coefficients dan Hosmer and Lameshow Test. Selanjutnya, dilakukan uji validasi menggunakan Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Setelah itu, dilakukan pemilihan model terbaik dan ditetapkan dua model terpilih dengan variabel yang paling berpengaruh, yaitu tarif dan waktu tunggu. Berdasarkan model yang dibangun, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa usulan layanan tarif dan waktu tunggu mampu menarik atau memindahkan pengguna angkutan umum dan motor secara signifikan.

Abstract

Depok City Government is planning a corridor from Simpang Depok to Jalan Raya Bogor, which will end at Harjamukti LRT Station. There are other potential options compared to the route options proposed by the government based on the population density map of Depok. The study aims to determine the best route based on potential displacement with the highest probability percentage value for using private vehicles to public transportation BST Depok on each route, namely on government-planned and other routes. The research was carried out by determining alternative route options to be compared with the government's planned routes. The study used the logistic regression method, so the data needed is nominal and ordinal data obtained through surveys. The best route based on the potential for movement of private vehicle users is the option one route, which has the largest passenger potential, 88,162 passengers. ABSTRAK Pemerintah Kota Depok merencanakan koridor dengan rute melalui Simpang Depok menuju Jalan Raya Bogor dan berakhir di Stasiun LRT Harjamukti. Terdapat potensi opsi rute lain dibandingkan dengan opsi rute yang diusulkan pemerintah berdasarkan peta kepadatan penduduk Kota Depok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menentukan rute terbaik berdasarkan potensi perpindahan dengan nilai persentase probabilitas tertinggi untuk penggunaan kendaraan pribadi ke kendaraan umum BST Depok pada tiap-tiap rute, yaitu pada rute rencana pemerintah dan rute opsi lainnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menentukan opsi rute alternatif untuk dibandingkan dengan rute rencana pemerintah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode regresi logistik, sehingga kebutuhan jenis data yang diperlukan adalah data nominal dan ordinal yang didapatkan melalui survei. Rute terbaik berdasarkan potensi perpindahan pengguna kendaraan pribadi adalah rute opsi 1 yang mempunyai potensi penumpang terbesar yaitu 88.162 penumpang.
