Abstract

Besides dietary fiber, resistant starch is carbohydrate that escape human digestion system, therefore it has potential health benefits.  A study on native and debranched starch from rice using physico-chemical treatment has been conducted. Physico chemical treatment used were autoclaving, extrusion and crosslinking.  The result showed that debranched starch which was treated with autoclaving, extrusion and crosslinking had higher resistant starch content than native starch treated with the same physico chemical treatment.  The best treatment with the highest resistant starch content was obtained from debranched starch treated with crosslinking.   The physicochemical properties of the product were as follows: moisture content of 8,45%, ash content of 3,19%, starch content of 85,44%, resistant starch content of 3,67%, initial gelatinization temperature of 79,3oC, gelatinization temperature of 89,6oC, and maximum viscosity of 1478 AU.Key word: resistant starch, debranching, autoclaving, extrusion, crosslinking

Abstract

ABSTRAK – Permasalahan dalam penelitin ini bagaimana kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sindue melalui metode mind mapping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sindue melalui metode mind mapping. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif yang meliputi tiga tahap yaitu : (1) tahap pengumpulan data, (2) tahap analisis data, (3) hasil analisis data. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil evaluasi kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sindue melalui metode mind mapping, dengan skor tertinggi 15 sampai sampai skor terendah 5. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai ketuntasan adalah 15,62%, dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 48,81%. Hal tersebut belum memenuhi standar ketuntasan leksikal di SMP Negeri 1 Sindue yaitu 75. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa siswa kelas VII Sudirman SMP Negeri 1 Sindue belum berhasil dalam menulis teks deskripsi melalui metode mind mapping.Kata Kunci : Kemampuan, Menulis, Deskripsi, Metode Mind Mapping

Abstract

This research development aimed to produce a Free Fall Motion device and LKS that can be used as an media of physics learning.The model was adapted from Sadiman which included phases need analysis, formulate learning objective, materials, develop evaluation instruments, prepare draft of media, validation from expert, experiments, and final product. Results of this study produced the Free Fall Motion device which able to measure the time of falling object automatically, vary the height of falling objects, release the falling objects automatically, and investigate influence of mass toward the time of falling object use sound sensor.The product which was developed had been tested expertly testing design and materials. Results from experiments showed that device used very attractive, easy to use, and very useful. The learning outcomes of students after using the device showed that 100% had reached KKM so that the developed product was highly effective and acceptable to be used as a learning media.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan alat Gerak Jatuh Bebas beserta LKS yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika. Model pengembangan diadaptasi dari Sadiman yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, butir-butir materi, menyusun instrumen evaluasi, menyusun draft media, validasi ahli, uji coba, dan produk akhir. Hasil penelitian berupa alat Gerak Jatuh Bebas yang mampu mengukur waktu jatuh benda secara otomatis, memvariasikan ketinggian jatuh benda, pelepasan benda jatuh secara otomatis, dan dapat menyelidiki pengaruh massa benda terhadap waktu jatuh dengan memanfaatkan sensor suara. Produk yang dikembangkan telah diuji desain dan materi. Hasil uji coba menyatakan bahwa alat yang digunakan sangat menarik, mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat. Hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan alat ini 100% mencapai batas KKM sehingga produk yang dikembangkan sangat efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: alat eksperimen, gerak jatuh bebas, lembar kerja siswa, sensor suara
