Abstract

Dalam upaya pengembangan sektor industri di Kota Bandung, telah ditentukan sepuluh sentra industri. Salah satunya adalah Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati. Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati ini cukup potensial menyerap tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati saat ini dan menganalisis bagaimana hubungan antara penyerapan tenaga kerja dengan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja pada sentra industri tersebut. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 55 unit usaha dari 120 unit usaha yang ada. Metode analisis menggunakan statistik destriptif dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil pengamatan dan wawancara memperlihatkan dari sisi penyerapan tenaga kerja, Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati merupakan kedua terbanyak setelah Sentra Sepatu Cibaduyut. Di sisi lain, beberapa tahun terakhir Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati menunjukkan penurunan dalam jumlah unit usaha dan pekerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penyerapan tenaga kerja di Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati mempunyai hubungan positif dengan variabel-variabel volume penjualan, produktivitas, harga bahan baku dan jumlah mesin yang dimiliki, serta berhubungan negatif dengan tingkat upah.

Abstract

AbstractLearning media is important element in the learning. Teachers must be able to choose, prepare, use, and develop the learning media for the achievement of learning goals. This study examines the effectiveness of portable e-comics as an innovative alternative media in Indonesian Language learning in grade 7th. The research method  is R & D (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The effectiveness of portable e-comics used validity tests: relevance, consistency, adequacy, and attractiveness. The results of statistical tests that show the average value of the increase from pretest to postest (N-Gain) is 0.8187. It is mean that the level of understanding of portable e-comics material has increased with high category. So, based on the results of this study, portable e-comics effectively used as an alternative media in Indonesian Language learning in grade 7th. Keywords: portable e-comics, media, innovation

Abstract

Abstract: BIPA students in Davao City - the Philippines mostly use Visaya in their daily lives. In addition, some of them are still affected by Spanish in the pronounciation of the sounds of the language. This is the main influence of pronounciation errors in Indonesian vocabulary. This research examines the pronunciation of vocabulary with diphthong and not diphthong in Bahasa Indonesia. The purpose of this analysis is to describe the mistakes of BIPA students in pronouncing diphthong double vowels and not diphthongs and to explain the solutions that can be done to minimize these errors. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The finding in this research is that there are errors in vocal pronunciation of double diphthong and not diphthong. As many as 96% recite the double diphthong correctly and 4% still pronounce incorrectly. 67% recite double vowels instead of diphthongs being diphthongs and 33% recite double vowels separately (read every letter in the final syllable). This happens because of three things. First, the influence of the Visaya language. Second, the influence of Spanish. Third, the presence of allophones in Indonesian vowels. These problems can be overcome in three ways. First, through spoken-syllable techniques. Second, through the technique of imitation. Third, through repeated words. Through this research, it is expected to be able to help BIPA students in reciting Indonesian vocabulary, especially duplicate vocabulary, so that pronunciation errors can be minimized.Abstrak: Siswa BIPA di Davao City – Filipina mayoritas menggunakan bahasa Visaya dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. Selain itu, sebagian di antara mereka masih terpengaruh bahasa Spanyol dalam pelafalan bunyi bahasa. Hal inilah menjadi pengaruh utama kesalahan pelafalan dalam kosa kata bahasa Indonesia. Riset ini mengkaji pelafalan kosa kata bervokal rangkap diftong dan bukan diftong bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan dilakukan analisis ini adalah mendeskripsikan kekeliruan siswa BIPA dalam pelafalan vokal rangkap diftong dan bukan diftong serta memaparkan solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meminimalkan kesalahan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Temuan dalam riset ini adalah adanya kekeliruan pelafalan vokal rangkap diftong dan bukan diftong.  Sebanyak 96% melafalkan vokal rangkap diftong dengan benar dan 4% masih melafalkan salah. Sebanyak 67% melafalkan vokal rangkap bukan diftong menjadi diftong dan 33% melafalkan vokal rangkap secara terpisah (dibaca per huruf di silabel akhir). Hal ini terjadi disebabkan oleh tiga hal. Pertama, pengaruh bahasa Visaya. Kedua, pengaruh bahasa Spanyol. Ketiga, adanya alofon dalam vokal rangkap bahasa Indonesia. Masalah-masalah tersebut dapat diatasi melalui tiga cara. Pertama, melalui teknik ucap – silabel. Kedua, melalui teknik ucap – tiru. Ketiga, melalui ucap – ulang. Melalui riset ini, diharapkan dapat membantu siswa BIPA dalam melafalkan kosa kata bahasa Indonesia, terutama kosa kata bervokal rangkap, sehingga kesalahan pelafalan dapat diminimalkan.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify and describe the respondent's reference to the cover of Tempo: The 2019 September 14th edition of the appointment. Data is obtained from respondents through google forms shared via WhatsApp chat that is examined using the triangle of Odgen & Richards and truth table Keith Allan. Number of respondents 130 people. According to the three meanings of Odgen & Richards, it is considered a liar because it is reference to Pinokio which has the concept of a long nose-like wooden doll that is lying. Moreover, it is considered as an important appointment because it is reference to the appointment of a promise that has a concept of attitude that does not keep the promise. While based on truth table Keith Allan, a liar is a proposition false (F) because the first proposition (P) is the proposition False (F) and the second proposition (Q) is the proposition True (T) so that the straightness of the proposition can be concluded is a false proposition (F). It can be concluded that the pairing of the same with Pinocchio and the promise of appointment is not something absolute and identical with the lies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya indikasi keterancaman punahnya bahasa Sunda di lingkungan keluarga Sunda. Kajian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dominansi penggunaan bahasa Sunda, eksistensi bahasa Sunda di lingkungan keluarga Sunda, dan solusi yang dapat dilakukan guna melestarikan bahasa Sunda di lingkungan keluarga Sunda. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan dengan google form. Jumlah informan yang merespons selama dua pekan sebanyak 102 orang. Adapun hasil penelitiannya adalah dominansi penggunaan bahasa Sunda di lingkungan keluarga Sunda masih mendominasi dibandingkan dengan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia ataupun bahasa campuran (Sunda/Jawa/Indonesia); eksistensi penggunaan bahasa Sunda di lingkungan keluarga Sunda masih terlihat aktif terbukti dengan penggunaannya di berbagai kalangan dan usia dengan persentase yang lebih besar daripada penggunaan bahasa Indonesia/campuran; solusi untuk konservasi bahasa Sunda di lingkungan keluarga Sunda adalah melalui peran orang tua dalam memperkenalkan dan menggunakan bahasa Sunda sebagai bahasa ibu serta membangun kesadaran kepada anak-anaknya akan pentingnya pelestarian bahasa sehingga anak-anak dapat terbiasa dan tidak merasa malu dalam menggunakan bahasa Sunda. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahasa Sunda merupakan warisan budaya yang wajib dilestarikan secara turun-temurun dengan diawali di lingkungan keluarga sehingga konservasi bahasa daerah dapat terjaga.

Abstract

Reading interest in Indonesia remains low, negatively affecting students' reading comprehension and productive skills such as writing and speaking. Although various reading techniques have been introduced, their relative effectiveness remains uncertain. This study compares the effectiveness of four reading techniques—read-aloud, read-type, read-memorize, and read-write—on students' comprehension levels. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group, this research involved 80 fifth-semester students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at FKIP Pasundan University in the 2023/2024 academic year. The participants were randomly assigned to four treatment groups, each receiving one of the reading techniques. Comprehension was assessed using a standardized test consisting of 30 multiple-choice and short-answer questions based on Bloom’s taxonomy, supplemented by observation of student behavior during reading. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and followed by Tukey HSD post-hoc testing. The findings revealed that the read-write group achieved the highest comprehension scores, followed by read-type, while read-aloud and read-memorize showed lower and statistically insignificant differences. Techniques involving kinesthetic activities—writing and typing—were more effective, likely due to deeper cognitive engagement from motor activity. This supports the levels of processing theory, which suggests that deeper encoding occurs through active manipulation of information. These results imply that incorporating kinesthetic reading strategies into learning activities can enhance reading comprehension. Practically, educators in higher education can integrate read-write and read-type strategies into coursework to improve critical reading skills and knowledge retention.
