Abstract

The purpose of the study was ( 1 ) to determine whether there is a relationship with the learning motivation learning outcomes Eye Basic Training Electrical Engineering class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK N 1 Sedayu Bantul; ( 2 ) to determine whether there is a relationship between Socio-Economic Status of Parents with learning outcomes Eye Basic Training Electrical Engineering class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK N 1 Sedayu Bantul; ( 3 ) to determine whether there is a relationship Motivation Learning and Socio-Economic Status of Parents with learning outcomes Eye Basic Training Electrical Engineering class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK N 1 Sedayu Bantul. The research hypothesis ( 1 ) There is a positive relationship with learning outcomes Learning Motivation Training Eye Basic Electrical Engineering class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK N 1 Sedayu Bantul; ( 2 ) There Socioeconomic status Parents with learning outcomes Eye Basic Training Electrical Engineering class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK N 1 Sedayu Bantul; ( 3 ) There is a relationship Motivation Learning and Socio-Economic Status of Parents with learning outcomes Eye Basic Training Electrical Engineering class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK N 1 Sedayu Bantul.This research was conducted at SMK N 1 Sedayu Bantul academic year 2013/2014 in the second semester of academic year 2013 / 2014 population in this study were all students of class X TKR totaling 120 students and this study using simple random sampling technique Haryking nomogram calculations so 96 obtained as samples. This research is correlational and ex post facto categorized. With the questionnaire data collection techniques and documentation of learning outcomes.The validity of the items obtained from the product moment correlation. About the reliability obtained with the formula stated alpha and reliable. Before the data were analyzed first tested the prerequisite analysis of the normality test, linearity, and multicollinearity test. Analysis using partial correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.Based on the analysis of the results obtained the following results : ( 1 ) There is a positive and significant correlation Motivation Learning ( X1 ) with the learning outcomes Eye Basic Training Electrical Engineering ( Y ) ; ( 2 ) There is a positive and significant relationship of Parents Socioeconomic Status ( X2 ) with learning outcomes Eye Basic Training Electrical Engineering ( Y ) ; ( 3 ) There is a positive and significant correlation Motivation Learning ( X1 ) and Socio-Economic Status of Parents ( X2 ) together to learn Eye Basic Training Electrical Engineering ( Y ) .

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out (1) the correlation  between students’ learning styles and measuring equipment achievement of the tenth grade students of Automotive Engineering Expertise Program of State Vocational High School Piri Sleman in the academic year 2013/2014; (2) the correlation between parents’ attention with measuring equipment achievement of the tenth grade students of Automotive Engineering Expertise Program of State Vocational High School Piri Sleman in the academic year 2013/2014; (3) the correlation between students’ learning styles and parents’ attention with measuring equipment achievement of the tenth grade students of Automotive Engineering Expertise Program of State Vocational High School Piri Sleman in the Academic Year 2013/2014.The kind of this research is correlation study and categorized as ex post facto. The population of the research was 105 students while the sample was 82 students counted from Isaac and Michael formula. The technique of sampling used in this research was simple random sampling. The technique of the data collection was questionnaire and documentation. Item validity was computed from product moment correlation. Item reliability was calculated by using alpha formula. The technique of data analysis used in this study was partial correlation and doubled correlation analyses. Precondition testing analysis (normality, linearity, and multi co linearity testing),Based on the data analysis, the results were as follows: (1) there is a positive and significant correlation between students’ learning styles (X1) and measuring equipment achievement (Y); (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between parents’ attention (X2) with measuring equipment achievement (Y); (3) there is a positive and significant correlation between students’ learning styles (X1) and parents’ attention (X2) with measuring equipment achievement (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the influence of the industrial working practices achievement entrepreneurial interests, (2) the effect of automotive electrical practice achievement against entrepreneurial interests, and (3) influence of achievement and accomplishment industry work practices automotive electrical practices to entrepreneurial interest Automotive Mechanics XII class students of SMK Diponegoro Depok Sleman school year 2012/2013.  The results showed that the test results of the partial correlation between achievements of industry working practices (X1) to entrepreneurial interest (Y) by controlling X2 correlation coefficient rx1-y = 0.471 and the partial correlation between the performance automotive electrical practices (X2) on entrepreneurial interest (Y) with X1 controlling fv values obtained correlation coefficient r = 0.259. Value of the determinant coefficient (R ²) between X1, X2 x2-y with Y for 0.451, means the magnitude of the effect between X1 and X2 with Y is equal to 45.1%. Achievement industry work practices contribute effectively amounted to 22.32% of the interest in self-employment and achievements of automotive electrical practices provide effective contribution of 22.83% of the interest in entrepreneurship. Achievement industry work practices contributed to the relative amounting to 29.82% of the interest in entrepreneurship and achievement automotive electrical practices relative contribution of 70.18% to the entrepreneurial interests. Thus, achievement of industry work practices and achievements automotive electrical practices influence in fostering student interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktik kerja industri terhadap minat berwirausaha pada siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta, (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar praktek siswa terkait minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta, (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktek industri dan motivasi terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta 2013/2014. .Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2013/ 2014 pada tanggal 29 juli s.d 12 november 2013. Sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, berdasarkan Homograf Harry King didapatkan 75 siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta dari 108 siswa yang di lakukan secara acak menggunakan undian. Validitas butir pernyataan diperoleh dari Korelasi product moment. Reliabilitas pernyataan diperoleh dengan rumus alpha cronbach, hasil rtt motivasi belajar praktik 0,464 dan minat berwirausaha 0,615 dan dinyatakan reliabel. Sebelum data dianalisis terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji prasarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, dan uji linieritas Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi parsial dan analisis regresi ganda.Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara prestasi praktik industri dengan minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul. (2) adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul. (3) adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara prestasi praktik industri dan motivasi belajar terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XII SMK N 1 Sedayu, Bantul.

Abstract

The purpose of the study to determine the increase learners' learning activities subjects chassis and power transfer competency standard steering system repair discovery learning through the implementation of class XI inquiry Lightweight Vehicle Technology SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping, Sleman academic year 2013/2014. This research including action research Research conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping XIB class academic year 2013/2014 with a sample of 26 students. Techniques of data collection using questionnaire sheet, observation sheets and documentation to determine the increase in student activity. Instrument validation study using experts judgment. Analysis using descriptive statistics using the technique . The results showed that the increased activity of the first cycle to the second cycle include an increase of 57.7 % Visual activities; Oral activities amounted to 61.6 %; Listening activities amounted to 23.04 %; Writing activities by 8.7 %; Mental activities of 73.1 %; Emotional activities of 42.3 % ( for the spirit of the students in learning activities ); Motor activities amounted to -7.7 % ( decrease negative activity ). Based on these results can be known to most students in SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping gave a positive opinion on the use of inquiry and discovery learning method has a view that the use of inquiry discovery learning methods can be useful for students and schools themselves. Learners who have a good perception of the use of discovery learning method of inquiry he has known and fully aware of the standards of achievement of competence theory fix the steering system. Learning discovery learning methods on achievement of competency standards inquiry repair steering systems theory pleased with the learning process, they are also able to: 1 ) increase the motivation to learn, 2) improving learning achievement; 3 ) enhancing creativity; 4 ) listen, respect, and accept the opinion of the participants other students; 5 ) reduce boredom and boredom; 6 ) convince him to others by helping others and convince him to understand each other and understand each other the extent of involvement of the students affected by the size of the perceptions of learners, good learners perceptions of the learning competency standard theory repair steering systems tend to have feelings of love, has a special interest and serious about learning to follow .

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effect of instructional media makromedia flash in improving the students practical skill on subjects Measure Measuring Precision Mechanics class X Mechanical Engineering SMK 1 Sedayu Academic Year 2012/2013.This study included in Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study was conducted in two cycles, in 1 cycle has 3 times with the research subjects are class X students of SMK 1 Sedayu TPm totaling 32 students. The data were obtained from observations during learning activities by using observation sheets, tests, documents and photographs. Results obtained were analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis.The results showed that the ability of the students to practice using instructional media on subjects macromedia flash Measuring with Precision Mechanical Measuring Instrument has increased as follows: the initial capabilities obtained an average value of 65.9 after treatment in the first cycle the average value becomes 76.1. While the values obtained in the second cycle to 84.8 average. Based on the study results, the authors suggest that teachers improve the application of instructional media in learning macromedia flash so the ability to practice and student achievement will increase.

Abstract

The purpose of the study (1) to determine whether there is a positive relationship between learning with the resultslearning outcomes Mechanical brake system students of class XI Light Vehicle Engineering Vocational School of State 2  Kebumen Central Java, (2) to determine whether there is a positive relationship between learning facilities at home with the results learning outcomes Mechanical brake system students of class XI Light Vehicle Engineering Vocational School of State 2 Kebumen Central Java, (3) to determine whether there is a positive relationship between learning styles and learning facilities at home with the results outcomes Mechanical brake system students of class XI Light Vehicle Engineering Vocational School of State 2  Kebumen Central Java.This research was conducted at Vocational School of State 2  Kebumen Central Java school year 2013/2014 on November 14th till 27 December 2013. The population in this study were all students of class XI TKR totaling 64 students and this study used a sampling saturated or study populations so that the entire population were sampled. This research is correlational and ex post facto categorized. Questionnaire data collection techniques and documentation of learning outcomes . The validity of the items were obtained from the product moment correlation. About the reliability of the formula obtained by alpha and declared reliable. Before the data were analyzed first tested the prerequisite analysis is normality test, multicollinearity, and linearity test. Analysis using partial correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.From the analysis of the results obtained the following results: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning (X1) with learning outcomes Mechanical brake system (Y), (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning facilities at home (X2) and learning outcomes Mechanical brake system (Y), (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning (X1) and learning facilities at home (X2) together with  learning outcomes Mechanical brake system (Y).

Abstract

Research this intent to know contribution Learning Utilize Media Get basis Computer and Learned motivation to Achievement Subject studying PCPT Student brazes XI Majors Tech Vehicle Demulcent sMK Muhammadiyah 3 yogyakarta. Research this are research expost facto. Population in this research are student braze XI majors Tech Vehicle Demulcent SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta one that total 140, meanwhile its sample total 115 student that pointing nomogram Harry King, sample take in observational it utilize propotionate random is sampling. Observational result this point out that: Contribution Relative Learning Utilize Media Get basis Computer as big as 33,020, Contribution Relative Learned motivation as big as 66,98%, contribution Effective learning Utilize Media Get basis Computer as big as 17,09%, Contribution Effective Motivation berlajar as big as 34,66%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student motivation and student learning outcomes by applying the learning method demonstration on learning fix a starter system in SMK N 1 Gabuswetan Indramayu academic year 2013/2014. The main focus of this study is the difference in student motivation and student learning outcomes of students before and after implementing the learning demonstration method in a class.            This research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were students of class XII TKR B SMK N 1 Gabuswetan Indramayu academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 35 students. Objects in this study is based on an increase in motivation and learning outcomes through the demonstration method of fixing the starter system. The research was conducted in three cycles with four stages of classroom action research, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection on each cycle. Data collection techniques obtained through the use of multiple choice questions (pre-test and post-test), observation of student activity sheets and motivation questionnaire (before and after the demonstration methods implemented). The analysis used is the analysis of quantitative data with descriptive statistics.            Results of research show that after the implemented demonstration method of motivation and learning outcomes showed improvement. Learning motivation increased from 49% pre-cycle (less motivated category) to 74.6% (medium motivation category). Learning outcomes produce an average yield of pretest and post-test on the first cycle is 37 to 70.71 of 35 students, the average value of the class on the second cycle of the pre-test value of 40.29 into a post-test value 66.85 and the third cycle value average class in the third cycle is increased from pre-test value of 38.65 and post-test value to 76. After all the activities that students end up achieving completeness criteria or achieve ≥ 75 there were 28 students or 80% of the total number of students (80%> 60% = pass in classical).

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning activity through the hydraulic system of Jigsaw Learning method in class X TKR SMK Muhammadiyah 1 KarangmojoThis study is an action research (PTK). The subjects were students of class X of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Karangmojo TKR. Data was collected through observation, interviews, field notes, and nontes testing, documentation, and analysis of documents. This study consisted of three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely (1) the action plan; (2) the implementation of the action; (3) observation; and (4) reflection and revision. Data analysis was performed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative skills is to describe the hydraulic system before and after the implementation of the action. The validity of the data obtained through validity (the validity of the results, the validity of the process, the validity of the dialogic, democratic validity) and reliability.The results showed that there is an increase in the hydraulic system of learning activities in class class X TKR SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Karangmojo through Learning through Jigsaw method. This increase is reflected by an increase in the quality of the process and outcomes of learning activities hydraulic system. The increase reflected the quality of the increasing activity of students during the lesson. Improved quality of results reflected increased average value of the hydraulic system of students' learning activities before and after the action. Average ability of students before and after the action was 63.33 subject to measures for cycle three times the average value of students rose to 78.93. This shows that there has been growing positive attitude in students' learning activities so that the ability of the hydraulic system began to increase. Hydraulic system enhancements increase of 15.6 or 24.63%.
