Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in motor skills fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years through weaving In Ra Al Furqon Koto Perambahan Village East Kampar District Regency Of Kampar. This study is the kind of research that uses classroom action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. The subjects were children aged 5-6 years were 10 children in RA Al-Furqan. The research data obtained through observation and data analysis with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques of fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years. It can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of fine motor skills in the first cycle of 54.79% which are in developing criteria to expectations (BSH) and an increase of 43.37% in the second cycle be 78.54% which is at criteria developed very well (BSH). So, weaving can improve fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in RA Al-Furqan Koto village Encroachment Kampar District Kampar regency.Keywords: Fine Motor Skill, weaving

Abstract

Kemampuan anak dalam peningkatan kreativitas di Taman Kanak-kanak Aisyiyah 2 Duri masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk peningkatan kreativitas anak usia dini dengan menggunakan bahan sisa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Sabjek penelitian adalah kelompok B5 berjumlah 16 orang. Teknik yang digunaksan dalam pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dan format hasil penelitian anak dilanjutkan dengan teknik persdentase. Dapat disimpulkan dengan menggunakan bahan sisa dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to examine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model integrated with an ethnoscience approach using the Seurunee Kalee context on students’ critical thinking skills in learning sound waves at Dewantara 1 State Senior High School. Methodology: This study used a mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design and a quasi-experimental Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Data were collected using tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Learning tools included worksheets and guidebooks. Data analysis employed SPSS version 25 for quantitative analysis and the Miles and Huberman model for qualitative review. Main Findings: The guided inquiry learning model integrated with an ethnoscience approach using the Seurunee Kalee significantly improved students’ critical thinking skills on sound waves. The experimental group’s mean score increased from 31.81 to 78.63, while the control group rose from 29.09 to 68.18. The t-test result (Sig. = 0.039 < 0.05) confirmed a significant difference. Student responses reached 86.79%, categorized as very strong. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces the integration of a guided inquiry learning model with an ethnoscience approach using the Seurunee Kalee context in physics learning. The novelty lies in combining local cultural values with scientific inquiry to enhance students’ critical thinking skills, providing a new framework for contextualized and culturally relevant science education.
