Abstract

As one of the largest industries in the world, tourism has become a rapidly growing phenomenon, yet this industry is very vulnerable to its surrounding issues, including the current Covid-19 pandemics. The travel restriction imposition has made Central Java government reconsider about its initial tourism development strategies as they need to minimise the spread of the virus while trying to accelerate the tourism sector. To implement this adjusted tourism strategies, based on policy analysis taken by the Central Java Provincial Government and its applications in the field, a tourism program named “Njagani Plesiran” was launched. This jargon “Njagani Plesiran” was derived from local Javanese language which literally means maintaining tourism activities. This study uses a literature study method in analysing the tourism policies. To ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the Njagani Plesiran, the Great Chinese Temple Sam Poo Kong promotes the programes through various media channels. The expected impact of this tourism program implementation is that while local mobility within the country is still allowed yet regulated, allowing tourism businesses to remain open, the spread of Covid-19 in tourist destinations can be controlled and eventually prevented. Abstract

The problem of household waste management in Damarguna Village, Ciledug District, requires the right solution. Damarguna Village is divided into three blocks, namely Pon, Wage and Pahing. From the three blocks, there is only one TPS in the Pon block and open burning of waste causes air pollution and other negative impacts. In an effort to overcome this problem, KKN Students of Swadaya Gunung Jati University have tried to handle this problem by utilizing used barrels as a means of burning waste with minimal smoke. The community is introduced to the use of these barrels, which not only reduce smoke pollution, but can also be used as a burning briquette from the remaining corn cobs as an alternative fuel. This program can successfully increase public awareness in managing waste and show the potential for reducing adverse environmental impacts. This innovation opens up opportunities for Damarguna Village as an example of independent and sustainable waste management, and can be applied in other villages.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence purchasing decisions for Brazil grapes at CV. Gentar Brazil Wine, Majalengka. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method of 100 respondents. The independent variables are price, product quality, promotion, and location, while the dependent variable is the purchase decision. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the four variables had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, with an R² value of 71.5%. Only product quality and location have a significant effect partially, while price and promotion do not. Product quality is the dominant factor influencing purchasing decisions, and strategic location. These results indicate the importance of improving product quality and distribution access in Brazil grape marketing strategies. This research can be expected to be a reference for the development of exotic horticultural agribusiness at the local level
