Abstract

The Act No. 221999 on regional government and No. 251999 on the balance of finance between central government and regional government, have vast impact on all aspects of the nation life. The impacts are not only on politic and economic aspects, but they also have logic consequence on the changes of Indonesian education form and system. Based on the rules above, the education process in schools should be independent gradually and will not depend on central government moreover on regional government especially in finance. Consequenly, the quality of school must be improved either in planning or process or outcome aspect. To reach the aimed quality of the schools need a management system that can improve the quality of schools. In this frame, this writing offers the total quality management system as a medium to autonomous education having a certain quality in decentralization era.

Abstract

In the beginning of century 21 that signed by the great changes, the clash of civilization and social conflict happening all over the world. But, the religion still plays important role in the process of globalization. In this sense, the fact, the followers of religion face the community consciousness that the structural adjustment and the cultural understanding denote irrefutable. The author tries to investigate the role of religion in the global era, which characterized by the rapid change and it is difficult to predict. This article contains the definition and the characteristics of the global era, the fundamentalism of religion, and the role of religion in the recent era. Besides, it describes the plurality of religion, conflict and integration; it also looks for the formulation how to rebuild Muslim civilization.

Abstract

Pembelajaran terbaik adalah pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) Dengan Bantuan Video Tutorial Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Elektronika Dasar di SMKN 1 Tambelangan. Adanya video pembelajaran diharapkan mampu meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran sehingga terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitiannya adalah One Group Pretest Posttest. Peneliti hanya menggunakan 1 kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) berbantuan video tutorial terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada dasar-dasar elektronika di SMKN 1 Tambelangan
