Abstract

Human Immuno deficiency Virus (HIV) is a disease that requires an bio-psychosocio- spiritual approach. The life of an HIV sufferer is very dependent on the surrounding environment. The most dominant influence on HIV sufferers is healthy behavioral, psychological and physical functions of others' ability to be able to accept the attitudes and behavior of others to support the social life of HIV sufferers. Viewed from the sex, women are more vulnerable and more sensitive in accepting the conditions they suffer. HIV has become a pandemic that causes world anxiety. Individuals who suffer from HIV positive with high resilience will have more enthusiasm for life. Method: This type of research is an analytic survey research using descriptive design that aims to identify resilience in HIV sufferers. The population in this study were 90 people with HIV diagnoses, both men and women in Karo District, while the sample for this study was based on sample criteria. Results: The results obtained from the frequency distribution table showed that the majority of HIV sufferers' work history were 18 people (58.0%), 11 drivers (35.5) and 2 (6) housewives (IRT) 5%). Based on the sex of the female as many as 20 people (64.5%) and the male sex as many as 11 people (35,%), from the age of the patients found 25-35 years as many as 25 people (80.6%), aged 36-45 years as many as 5 people (16.1%) and ≥ 46 years old as many as 1 person (3.3%). And the highest level of education is at the high school level of 25 people (54.3%). Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that HIV sufferers consult more often about physical and psychological conditions at the nearest health center.

Abstract

Anxiety is a response experienced by every human being to a certain situation such as anger, sadness, fear, pain with a combination of phenomenological and physiological qualities. Infusion is an action taken to provide fluids into the body. Caring behavior is a form of basic nursing practice that appears with an attitude of patience, honesty, confidence, presence, touch, compassion and humility in carrying out actions so that the patient's healing process is faster. Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the caring behavior of nurses and the level of parental anxiety in infusion in children in the Theresia room, Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Batam City in 2022. Methods: The research design used is a correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were parents whose children were treated in Theresia's room in January 2022 with the inclusion criteria of parents whose children were given intravenous infusion for the first time and were under 12 years of age and obtained a sample of 32 respondents. Sampling with total sampling. Results: The results of the study using the Spearman Rank test, namely p value = 0.039 (p <0.05) and rho (r) = -0.366, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the caring behavior of nurses and the level of anxiety of parents in infusion in children in the Theresia room at the Santa Elisabeth Hospital. Batam city in 2022.

Abstract

Halusinasi masih menjadi masalah utama pada klien skizofrenia yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa. Terapi modalitas diperlukan untuk mendukung farmakoterapi pengobatan skizofrenia. Salah satu terapi aktivitas kelompok yang mampu mengontrol halusinasi klien skizofrenia adalah stimulasi sensori. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan dalam terapi aktivitas kelompok stimulasi sensori pada klien skizofrenia yang mengalami halusinasi di RSJ Prof. M.Ildrem Medan. Kegiatan dilakukan dua kali dengan durasi 60 menit, terdiri dari sesi pembukaan, sesi mengidentifikasi halusinasi dan latihan menghardik, dan sesi evaluasi serta tindak lanjut. Pendampingan diberikan kepada enam klien skizofrenia yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok. Stimulasi sensori diberikan dengan permainan bisik kata dan mengidentifikasi suara. Hasil dan kesimpulan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sangat baik dimana klien mampu mengidentifikasi stimulus sensori yang diberikan. Klien juga mampu mengidentifikasi halusinasinya dan melakukan cara menghardik halusinasi yang benar. Pelaksanaan terapi aktivitas kelompok stimulasi sensori sebaiknya rutin dilakukan untuk mengontrol halusinasi klien skizofrenia, serta melibatkan anggota keluarga untuk menghindari kejadian relaps atau rawat inap ulang.
