Abstract

 Abstract:Jean Piaget is known as the founder of constructivist learning. The theory regardes basically each studenthasknowledge before they have been treated in learning process. Cognitive development is also covering theory of moral logical development.  A social study learning is learning closely related to value and morality, a social study learning will tend to social cognition so influents students’ morality. In fact, social study learning is still experiencing some problems. Therefore, value and moralityinternalizationto social study learning needs to be prepared and planned continuously by pressing to each different level.  The higher cognitive level is the more mature comprehensive element and responsibility. Due to, the attitude and their action will always be based by responsibility to their selves and environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the implementation of character education through a creative learning model at the elementary school. This research was conducted at Mendungan 2 State Elementary School in April-September 2018. The research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were direct observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The data analysis steps consist of data presentation; data reduction; and verification, whereas the data validity tests include internal validity; external validity; reliability and objectivity. The research results showed that character education in elementary schools has been conducted well, that is, performed through a creative learning method which includes PAKEM learning; contextual teaching and learning (CTL); cooperative learning; and problem based learning. The model was used in thematic teaching which includes religious teaching; civics education; natural science; social science; Indonesian language; health and physical education; art culture and skills education; and dance art. The character values introduced include religious values; love of reading; honesty; discipline; tolerance; hard work; creativity; independence; democracy; nationalism; social care; and environmental care.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Know and explain the application of the system among Ki Hadjar Dewantara through a pluralistic approach in classroom management, (2) Identifying various challenges faced in implementing the application of the Ki Hadjar Dewantara system through a pluralistic approach in classroom management, (3) Knowing and explaining the various efforts made to overcome obstacles in the application of the system among Ki Hadjar Dewantara through a pluralistic approach in classroom management. This research is a qualitative study conducted at the Timuran State Elementary School in Yogyakarta in June-December 2019. Data collection techniques used, namely: direct observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) The Implementation of Among Ki Hadjar Dewantara's System in Classroom Management in Timuran State Elementary School has been going well, namely implemented through a pluralistic approach in which there are 5 types namely instructional approach, authoritarian approach, democratic approach, socio-emotional approach and also the group process approach. (2) several obstacles that become challenges for schools include: the competence of teachers who do not all understand the among systems and also classroom management, heterogeneous student characteristics, incomplete school facilities, and also the lack of support from parents of students. (3) Efforts made by schools to deal with problems include: There is a policy from the school principal to involve teachers in turns in a series of training or training. The teacher makes observation sheets of students to get to know. strengths and weaknesses of students. The school tries to embrace parents in every activity

Abstract

The purpose of this study Is to determine the pattern of civic competence coaching for students through Scouting Education as a reinforcement of young characters in the USSD FKIP PGIP Study Program. This study used qualitative research with a case study method. This study consists of the formulation of the problems namely: civic competence in the context of Scouting Education, Scouting learning process in fostering student civic competence, obstacles and solutions in fostering civic competence through Scouting Education, the role of Scouting Education in fostering student civic competence. In collecting data researchers used three techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model. This research produces several findings, namely: (1) Civic competence in the context of Scouting Education: Citizenship knowledge includes understanding democracy, understanding defending the country, understanding obligations and rights. Citizenship skills include three skills namely managerial, organizational, and scout skills. Citizenship character is in the form of character contained in the tri satya and dasa dharma. (2) Knowledge is fostered by providing the task of finding information related to Scouting to be understood and poured back on the exam, skills are fostered by learning by doing with the team system, and character is fostered by instilling the values of tri satya characters and dasa dharma with habituation and the system among. (3) Obstacles in the development of civic competence that is students still feel shy, less responsible, arriving late. The solution is to be assertive and apply reward and punishment in learning process.Keywords: Development of Civic Competence, Scouting Education, Strengthening Character of Young GenerationTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pembinaan civic competence mahasiswa melalui Pendidikan Kepramukaan sebagai penguatan karakter muda di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini terdiri dari rumusan masalah yaitu: civic competence dalam konteks Pendidikan Kepramukaan, proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Kepramukaan dalam membina civic competence mahasiswa, kendala dan solusi dalam pembinaan civic competence melalui Pendidikan Kepramukaan, peran Pendidikan Kepramukaan dalam membina civic competence mahasiswa. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan, yaitu: (1) Civic competence dalam konteks Pendidikan Kepramukaan: pengetahuan kewarganegaraan mencakup pemahaman demokrasi, pemahaman bela negara, pemahaman kewajiban dan hak. Keterampilan kewarganegaraan mencakup tiga keterampilan yaitu keterampilan manajerial, organisatorik, dan keterampilan pramuka. Karakter kewarganegaraan berwujud karakter yang terdapat dalam tri satya dan dasa dharma. (2) Pengetahuan dibina dengan memberikan tugas untuk mencari informasi terkait Kepramukaan untuk dipahami dan dituangkan kembali pada ujian, keterampilan dibina dengan learning by doing dengan sistem beregu, dan karakter dibina dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter tri satya dan dasa dharma dengan pembiasaan dan sistem among. (3) Kendala dalam pembinaan civic competence yaitu mahasiswa masih merasa malu, kurang bertanggung jawab, datang terlambat. Abstract

AbstrakPengabdian Masyarakat dengan judul “Perancangan Kemasan Ramah Lingkungan Berbahan Corugated dan Penerapan Sistem Pemasaran Daring Pada Produk Jamu Tradisional Kiringan, Dusun Kiringan, Kabupaten Bantul D.I. Yogyakarta”.Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Memberikan sosialisasi tentang perancangan kemasan ramah lingkungan berbahan corugated produk jamu tradisional, (2)Memberikan sosialisasi tentang penerapan sistem pemasaran daring pada produk jamu tradisional, (3) Memberikan motivasi untuk meningkatkan regenerasi penjual jamu sehingga image kiringan sebagai “sentral jamu gendong” dapat dipertahankan, sekaligus dapat menjadi desa wisata. Tempat pengabdian di Balai Dusun Kiringan. Waktu kegiatan, Rabu 22 November 2017 pukul 09.00-17.00 WIB.Sasaran kegiatan yaitu kelompok usaha jamu Mekar Sari dan kelompok jamu Sehat Asri.Pengabdian ke masayarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab.Hasil kegiatan in antara lain: (1) Munculnya kesadaran untuk melestarikan dusun Kiringan sebagai desa wisata jamu tradisional. Hal ini nampak dari Ibu-ibu kelompok usaha jamu tradisional di dusun Kiringan yang termotivasi untuk bersama-sama membentuk kelompok promosi desa wisata, (2) Pengetahuan Ibu-ibu kelompok usaha jamu tradisional semakin bertambah terutama tentang berbagai bentuk mapun jenis kemasan yang lebih menarik dan ramah lingkungan, sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan nilai jual jamu tradisional, dan (3) Ibu-Ibu kelompok usaha jamu tradisional menjadi memiliki pengetahuan baru untuk memasarkan jamu melalui online, selain itu dapat menarik minat remaja (anak penjual jamu) untuk membantu orang tua mereka berjualan jamu tanpa harus merasa malu. Kata kunci: pengabdian, jamu tradisional, kiringan

Abstract

Education is a process of changing the attitudes and behavior of individuals or groups through learning, teaching, and training efforts to achieve certain goals. This study aims to describe the teachers’ strategy, supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and solutions to overcome obstacles in growing students' ethical manners through Civic education content for Class IV SDN Tegalgede 3 Karanganyar. This research method used a qualitative descriptive method with data sources: the school principal, fourth-grade teachers, and fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique was by reducing the data, presenting the data, and concluding the data. This study indicated that: (1) The teachers’ strategy was to provide habituation of good behavior when learning Civics. (2) Supporting factors for fostering student ethics were class teachers and students (3) Inhibiting factors came from students and class teachers. (4) The solution to overcome the obstacles was that the teacher provided strict rules. Teachers created comfortable and safe learning conditions for students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify what learning styles are being used by Class Va students and to find out the impact of thematic learning on student learning styles during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD Muhammadiyah Karangharjo. This research method is qualitative with a cross-sectional survey approach. The data sources in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The variables in this study were the student's learning styles in thematic learning of Class VA. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity techniques used in this study are source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study are that there are three types of student learning styles in class VA based on the results of the observation survey, namely Visual learning styles 66.67%, Auditory learning styles having a percentage of 14.28%, and Kinesthetic learning styles with a percentage of 19.04%. With the large percentage contained in the diagram above, it can be seen that the common learning style of Class VA SD Muhammadiyah Karangharjo students is Visual Learning Style and with the large amount of material contained in thematic learning, students prefer to pay attention to the teacher who is thematically explaining their learning material.

Abstract

This paper analyzes Mohammad Hatta's idea of modern Islamic education. Mohammad Hatta is not only known as a national figure and the first Indonesian vice president, but also a faithful, active individual in the field of Islamic education. He also expresses his idea regarding Islamic education in papers. Islamic education discourse still emerges as an important discussion topic today. This paper is the result of a qualitative study with literature review. The study aimed to discover Mohammad Hatta’s idea of modern Islamic education, which still emerges as a problem in today's Indonesian Islamic education. In this case, it is necessary to provide a representative, modern Islamic education in order to deliver ideal Muslim scholars. The study found that the construct of Mohammad Hatta’s idea on modern Islamic education was to create coherence between religion and modern science, comprising sociology, history, and philosophy. Such an idea is not merely an abstract, it was applied through the establishment of Sekolah Tinggi Islam (Islamic College) in 1945 as a modern Islamic higher education.
