Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned attempt to create a learning atmosphere and a learning process in order that learners actively develop their potentials to possess spiritual and religious power, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble characters, and skills needed by themselves, the society, nation, and country. Civic Education at the elementary school requires learning through a variety of approaches emphasizing the habituation of the students by the teachers in inculcating values and moral. Therefore, the teachers are expected to prioritize the among (guiding) system and apply the values by providing examples (ing ngarso sung tulodo), developing will (ing madyo mangun karso), and enhancing the students’ creativity in the learning process (tut wuri handayani). In this way, the students understand Civic Education as value and moral education which finally can produce students with good morals and characters for the development of the nation and country.

Abstract

Abstract : The right to obtain the basic education is the right of every citizen as stipulated in the constitution and the fulfillment of such right is a great respect for human rights. Indonesia is legal state that has guaranteed and regulated the legal protection of the right to basic education for Indonesian citizens aged seven to fifteen years.  In conducting basic level education has been done since the existence of 4th amendment of UUD1945 Constitution which further followed up with the Law on National Education System No. 20 of 2003. In Aditian, Law No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights also provide legal protection for Indonesian citizens to be able to obtain the education although not explicit and explicit set free education at the basic level. The process of implementing basic education its responsibilities between local government and society. Funding of education is share responsibility between central government, local government and society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of honesty values as a form of anti-corruption education in SD Negeri 01 Tengklik Karanganyar. The results showed that in Tengklik 01 Public Elementary School had carried out honesty values as a form of anti-corruption education. The anti-corruption values taught in Tengklik 01 Public Elementary School include the value of honesty, the value of discipline, the value of openness, and the value of responsibility. Inhibiting factors or constraints are: (1) lack of awareness of students, (2) there are still habits of corruptive behavior. There are several ways that can be used to overcome obstacles and efforts made in Anti-Corruption Education, namely: (1) exemplary, (2) habituation, (3) giving strict sanctions. (4) competitions and resource persons (5) increasing devotion.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to examine values in traditional games. Value is the weight or quality of good deeds contained in various things that are considered valuable, useful, and has benefits. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are character values in traditional games. These values include the values of discipline, dexterity, social, health, honesty, sportsmanship, cooperation, and hard work.

Abstract

Corruption has become a disease harmful to the nation, the education transformation is required in order to reduce the growing corruption. One of them by integrating anti-corruption education into a number of subjects Education Anti-corruption one can be applied in teaching Citizenship Education. Anti-corruption values taught in the learning process Citizenship Education includes the value of honesty, discipline values, values of openness, and the value of responsibility. On the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Education in Citizenship Education learning by means of the application in the vision and mission, school culture that includes a variety of behavioral activities of the school community, canteens honesty and discipline and responsibility. Some of the factors obstacles, such as lack of awareness of students, was their habit of corrupt behavior. There are several ways that can be used to overcome the barriers as well as the efforts made in the Anti-Corruption Education in Learning Civic Education, that is: exemplary, habituation, giving strict sanctions, competition and sources, increased faith.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the implementation of character education through a creative learning model at the elementary school. This research was conducted at Mendungan 2 State Elementary School in April-September 2018. The research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were direct observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The data analysis steps consist of data presentation; data reduction; and verification, whereas the data validity tests include internal validity; external validity; reliability and objectivity. The research results showed that character education in elementary schools has been conducted well, that is, performed through a creative learning method which includes PAKEM learning; contextual teaching and learning (CTL); cooperative learning; and problem based learning. The model was used in thematic teaching which includes religious teaching; civics education; natural science; social science; Indonesian language; health and physical education; art culture and skills education; and dance art. The character values introduced include religious values; love of reading; honesty; discipline; tolerance; hard work; creativity; independence; democracy; nationalism; social care; and environmental care.

Abstract

This study set a goal to describe the characteristics types of educational budget decision making in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The research was carried out over six months with research subjects: the Chairperson of the Ibu Pawiyatan Board, the Chairperson of the Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Division, Teachers in the Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan, the treasury division, several staffs involved in the budgeting, parents involved in seeking funding sources, and people who were always critical in every decision making and budgeting, both at the level of the Mother Pawiyatan Board or in the Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Division. Research data were collected using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using the Huberman and Miles version of the data analysis technique consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the characteristics of the decision making type in the principal's education budget are situational, sometimes using his authority, but in certain situations involving the subordinates’ point of view democratically.

Abstract

This research is aims to describe the the role of peers in inculcating character education during pandemic in SDN Andong Boyolali. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique used in this study was an interactive model from Miles and Huberman which consisted of several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data result show that: Peers provide a role for inculcating character education as an example of behavior, give support, and teaches social skills acquired in learning. Constraints for the role of peers in planting character education that is students who hang out with friend bad character, lack of facilities that support character cultivation, lack of communication between teachers and parents, and lacking lees in depht learning in the cultivation of character education. While factors that influence its success that is school environmental factors, family and society Efforts to overcome obstacles the role of peers in planting character education that is provide a persuasive approach, provide adequate facilities, increase cooperation between teachers and parents, provide knowledge and socialization about character education, and direct students to behave well

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of the blended learning model in PPKn learning in grade 1 SD N Bonorowo Kebumen. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was done by increasing the persistence and triangulation techniques. The results showed that 1) The implementation of the blended learning model in PPKn learning was carried out well starting with face-to-face followed by online, using the same tools as other models, using learning video media and concrete media that could activate students, 2) The supporting factor was assistance. quota from the government, the existence of a library, the existence of a private room that can be used as a temporary class, and parents can access a smartphone, 3) The inhibiting factors are signals and devices that are less supportive, 4) Solutions to overcome these inhibiting factors are easy access to wifi, assignment manuals, and providing screenshots of the learning videos. Abstract

The purpose of this study Is to determine the pattern of civic competence coaching for students through Scouting Education as a reinforcement of young characters in the USSD FKIP PGIP Study Program. This study used qualitative research with a case study method. This study consists of the formulation of the problems namely: civic competence in the context of Scouting Education, Scouting learning process in fostering student civic competence, obstacles and solutions in fostering civic competence through Scouting Education, the role of Scouting Education in fostering student civic competence. In collecting data researchers used three techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model. This research produces several findings, namely: (1) Civic competence in the context of Scouting Education: Citizenship knowledge includes understanding democracy, understanding defending the country, understanding obligations and rights. Citizenship skills include three skills namely managerial, organizational, and scout skills. Citizenship character is in the form of character contained in the tri satya and dasa dharma. (2) Knowledge is fostered by providing the task of finding information related to Scouting to be understood and poured back on the exam, skills are fostered by learning by doing with the team system, and character is fostered by instilling the values of tri satya characters and dasa dharma with habituation and the system among. (3) Obstacles in the development of civic competence that is students still feel shy, less responsible, arriving late. The solution is to be assertive and apply reward and punishment in learning process.Keywords: Development of Civic Competence, Scouting Education, Strengthening Character of Young GenerationTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pembinaan civic competence mahasiswa melalui Pendidikan Kepramukaan sebagai penguatan karakter muda di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini terdiri dari rumusan masalah yaitu: civic competence dalam konteks Pendidikan Kepramukaan, proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Kepramukaan dalam membina civic competence mahasiswa, kendala dan solusi dalam pembinaan civic competence melalui Pendidikan Kepramukaan, peran Pendidikan Kepramukaan dalam membina civic competence mahasiswa. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan, yaitu: (1) Civic competence dalam konteks Pendidikan Kepramukaan: pengetahuan kewarganegaraan mencakup pemahaman demokrasi, pemahaman bela negara, pemahaman kewajiban dan hak. Keterampilan kewarganegaraan mencakup tiga keterampilan yaitu keterampilan manajerial, organisatorik, dan keterampilan pramuka. Karakter kewarganegaraan berwujud karakter yang terdapat dalam tri satya dan dasa dharma. (2) Pengetahuan dibina dengan memberikan tugas untuk mencari informasi terkait Kepramukaan untuk dipahami dan dituangkan kembali pada ujian, keterampilan dibina dengan learning by doing dengan sistem beregu, dan karakter dibina dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter tri satya dan dasa dharma dengan pembiasaan dan sistem among. (3) Kendala dalam pembinaan civic competence yaitu mahasiswa masih merasa malu, kurang bertanggung jawab, datang terlambat. Solusi berupa bersikap tegas dan menerapkan reward and punishment dalam proses pembelajaranKata Kunci: Pembinaan Civic Competence, Pendidikan Kepramukaan, Penguatan Karakter Generasi Muda
