Abstract

AbstarckIn dealing with a conflict between two groups, it is necessary to respect each other and be willing to listen to each other's opinions. Such as the social disparity in the community in KenanganBaru Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, regarding the sense of intolerance between Muslims who are worshiping and customers of the taverns who make a fuss by singing while music as loud as possible, so that a sense of intolerance and lack of other people's opinions. To get complete information about the problems that occur in the Kelurahan, I use a type of qualitative research method, namely research that aims to get closer to the in-depth description of the perpetrators, parties, victims and also observe from one individual to another in certain settings that are studied from the point of view. comprehensive social and religious sciences. The methodology used in this study is a sociological approach, which is an approach that focuses on the interaction of religion and society. After the holding of mediation by the BKM, FKUB and traditional leaders to resolve the problems between the mosque and the taverns, they held a peace agreement dialogue to tolerate and respect the opinions of others, and as a result, the life of the people of KenanganBaru Village has reached the peak of peace and there is no more rioting. as well as the destruction of places of worship.Keyword : Conflict Resolution, Religion, Houses of Worship.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study is to find out the root of the conflict and its solution proposed by the religious leaders to maintain the harmony among religious believers. After conducting a qualitative research, the results show that the conflict in this region is more dominant coming from the economic resources, not because of religious teachings. Besides, they are also caused by the behaviour of the believers concerning to religious cultural identity but they are relatively small. The solutions given  by the leaders indicate that (1) building up the commitment of togetherness among the leaders, (2) the support of the public leaders in mediating the conflicting believers, (3) the multiple  role of the leaders in socializing the universal values of the religious teaching and the local wisdom, and (4) doing inter-faith and inter-ethnic dialogues among the believers honestly, openly, respectively. By doing these, the excellence and the national harmony in north Sumatera will come true.Keywords: inter-faith believer’s conflicts, national harmonyAbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui akar dari konflik dan solusi yang diajukan oleh para pemuka agama untuk menjaga kerukunan umat beragama. Setelah dilakukan penelitian kualitatif, didapatkan hasil bahwa konflik di wilayah ini lebih dominan bersumber dari sumber daya ekonomi, bukan karena ajaran agama. Selain itu, juga disebabkan oleh perilaku pemeluk agama yang terkait dengan identitas budaya agama namun relatif kecil. Solusi yang diberikan oleh pemimpin menunjukkan bahwa (1) membangun komitmen kebersamaan antar pemimpin, (2) dukungan pemimpin masyarakat dalam memediasi konflik pemeluk agama, (3) peran ganda pemimpin dalam mensosialisasikan nilai-nilai universal. tentang ajaran agama dan kearifan lokal, dan (4) melakukan dialog antaragama dan antaretnis antar umat beriman secara jujur, terbuka, masing-masing. Dengan demikian akan terwujud keunggulan dan kerukunan bangsa di Sumatera Utara.Kata Kunci : Konflik Antar Umat Beragama, Kerukunan Bangsa

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the Ubudiah according to Imam Nawawi Al-Bantani (W.1897 AD) in the Book of Marah Labid li Kasyfi Makna of the Quran Majid. This type of research is a library research with a qualitative approach. The research method used is the method of interpretation that is tahlily method. The source of this research is the interpretation of Marah Labid li Kasyfi Makna of the Quran Majid, other commentaries and literature relating to ubudiah, while the data analysis technique is done using content analysis. The results of this study are Ubudiah is the servitude of a servant to His Rabb, which is a servant when worshiping Allah Almighty is not merely to get rewards, in order to avoid the fire of hell, but the goal is to worship Allah Almighty in order to get His pleasure . The meaning of ubudiah according to Shaykh Imam Nawawi Al-Bantani in the book of the Marah Labid Li Kasyfi Makna of the Quran Majid is mentioned in his interpretation that a servant is classified into three parts: a. There are servants who worship Allah only because of Allah. is a God worthy of worship, whether he is given favor or not blessed. b. There are servants who worship Allah SWT because they are given Favor by Allah. continously. c. There are servants who worship Allah. because there is fear in him. Ubudiah according to Imam Nawawi al-Bantani has very close relevance in daily life, both in the political, economic, social and tolerance fields

Abstract

Membangun sebuah tatanan dunia baru yang produktif dan sejahtera sangat ditentukan oleh kerjasama yang saling menyelamatkan antarumat beragama dan lintas peradaban melalui dialog. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dialog yang dilakukan oleh Nabi Muhammad dengan non muslim yang humanis, saling menyelamatkan dan mensejahterakan, yang kemudian dapat dijadikan contoh membangun peradaban agama masa kini. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan mengumpulkan literatur klasik Islam, yang kemudian dilakukan content analisis sesuai konteks kekinian. Hasil telaahan menunjukkan bahwa dialog di sini dipahami sebagai suatu cara berjumpa atau memahami diri sendiri dan dunia pada tingkatan yang terdalam, membuka kemungkinan-kemungkinan untuk memperoleh makna fundamental dari kehidupan secara individu maupun kolektif dan dalam berbagai dimensinya. Dialog dipahami dan dipraktikkan pada masa lalu oleh para manusia pilihan, terutama Nabi Muhammad adalah untuk mensejahterakan umat manusia. Dialog tersebut berisi kesimpulan bahwa tidak ada suatu tatanan dunia yang sukses jika tidak dilengkapi dengan etika dunia, tidak ada perdamaian antar negara-negara tanpa adanya perdamaian antar agama-agama. Inilah saat yang tepat untuk mengambil kekuatan dialog Nabi Muhammad dengan non muslim pada tingkatan yang baru di mana ia dapat membuat perbedaan struktural untuk menghadapi problem-problem dunia. Building such a new system of world which productive and prosperous is profoundly determined by collaborating that mutually save among religious communities and across civilization through dialogue. This article aims to know the dialogue has been done by the prophet Muhammad SAW with non muslim community humanely, mutually,saving and bringing welfare. Then, it can be created pattern of building religious civilization nowdays. The usedmethod is collecting clasical islamic literature which is done through analysis based-content on current context. The outcome of study shows that dialogue here is understood as a way encountering and understanding one self and earth on the deepest of level, exposing possibilities to get fundamental sense of living individually and collectively on various demensions. In the past, dialogue is understood and practiced by choice people mainly the prophet Muhammad SAW is to bring welfare to whole of people. The dialogue consists of inference that none of system of world that actually get success if it is not completed with world values, no reconciliation among countries without having peace between the beliefs. Right now is right time to remove the power of the prophet Muhammad’s dialogue with non muslim communities on such new level where he was able to make distinct of structural to face worlds’ issues.
