Abstract

Occupational safety and health (K3) is very important. There are various types and levels of employment sectors in Indonesia, one of which is in the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) sector which is engaged in the welding service sector. Based on observations made at UMKM "Bintang Jaya Steel", there are many conditions that are quite dangerous to the K3 of workers, because workers carry out welding processes and other work, without using PPE. Some workers also show a lack of understanding regarding the use of PPE in the welding process. This is certainly contrary to the importance of implementing K3 in this type of work. This Community Service activity is carried out with the aim of solving existing problems with partners. So far the partners do not fully know the legal basis for OSH and all the PPE needed for welding work, especially in construction work. The service is carried out by providing socialization and procuring PPE for construction welding work at these MSMEs. The results of this activity can be in accordance with the plan. This is shown from the evaluation and discussion results, where supervisors as well as MSME owners and operators can apply the use of PPE in construction welding work.

Abstract

The rapid development of digitalization cannot be separated from the important role of an information system. Production planning process at PT. XYZ is still manual and not yet computerized. This causes production delays due to miscommunication and does not yet have a database in the system. This causes production delays due to miscommunication and does not yet have a database in the system. To overcome this, it is necessary to have a field study through interviews with staff at PT. XYZ to design information systems. The purpose of conducting research at PT. XYZ is, among others, producing a computerized production planning information system design in a database. The design of this production planning information system is made with a DFD (Data Flow Diagram) method using Odoo Software which can facilitate users in the process of delivering information between work departments in a computerized manner, reduce the number of human error problems, facilitate checking the availability of raw materials, and can shorten the flow of business processes that are currently running in a database so that the production scheduling and planning process is more effective and efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the outcomes of the Alignment activity implemented in the Marketing Department of PT X, a batik manufacturing company located in Central Java, in aligning the company’s vision and mission and enhancing team work effectiveness. The study employs a quantitative research method using a Likert-scale questionnaire and open-ended questions administered to 11 employees who participated in the alignment activity. Data analysis was conducted through the calculation of mean scores, evaluation of open-ended responses, and validity testing using Pearson correlation. The results indicate that the alignment activity received a positive response, with the highest mean score observed in the internal communication aspect (4.37), followed by the collaboration aspect (91.27). However, the vision and mission understanding aspect obtained the lowest score (2.73), indicating the need for improvement in the methods used to communicate the company’s strategic direction. The validity test results show that five out of six questionnaire items were valid, while one item was found to be invalid. Overall, the alignment activity proved to be effective in improving employee communication, engagement, and collaboration; however, further reinforcement is required in enhancing employees’ understanding of the company’s vision and mission to ensure optimal achievement of strategic objectives.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTiyaran, Bulu, Sukoharjo Regency has potential in the agricultural and livestock sectors. One of the service partners is the Surowani who has problems with livestock waste management. The purpose of the service activities carried out by the PPK Ormawa team of Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara is to improve the skills of partners in managing livestock waste.. This activity was carried out in several stages, namely mentoring and approaches in the form of discussions, counseling, demonstrations and direct practice related to the manufacture of organic fertilizer from cow dung waste. The results of the service activities concluded that public knowledge about cattle waste treatment increased up to 90%, and the ability to practice composting from cattle waste reached 80%. Keywords: cattle waste, compost, community service, organic fertilizer

Abstract

Gunung Sepikul adalah potensi wisata yang dimiliki oleh Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Wisata alam berupa pegunungan batu ini berada di Desa Tiyaran, Kecamatan Bulu, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Lokasi Gunung Sepikul ini cukup strategis dan memiliki akses yang mudah karena ruas jalan desa sudah beraspal. Dari observasi diketahui permasalahan yang menjadikan potensi gunung sepikul belum berkembang, yaitu : 1) kurangnya media promosi gunung sepikul; 2) kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat di area Gunung Sepikul mengenai desa wisata. Metode yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah penyuluhan. Kegiatan penyuluhan mengenai tata letak spot foto dimulai dari pembahasan mengenai view gunung sepikul, problematika yang ada di gunung sepikul, serta rancangan spot foto yang tepat untuk diletakkan di area Gunung Sepikul. Setelah pemaparan materi, dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab. Kegiatan penyuluhan mengenai strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengembangan desa wisata dimulai dari paparan materi mengenai pengertian mengenai desa wisata, syarat-syarat desa wisata, kunci pengembangan dan pemasaran desa wisata, peran dan komitemen pemerintah, peran dan komitmen pelaku wisata, komponen pengembangan desa wisata, sapta pesona pariwisata, penyusunan rencana pemasaran desa wisata, produk desa wisata, pemasaran desa wisata, strategi pemasaran desa wisata, pemberdayaan masyarakat, hingga aksi pemberdayaan. Hasil dari penyuluhan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan mitra mengenai tata letak spot foto dan pengembangan obyek wisata oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

Karangasem Village, Bulu District, Sukoharjo Regency has natural potential in the form of a reservoir that has not been utilized optimally. To develop a reservoir development program, a SWOT analysis was carried out using a focused group discussion method between the Community Service Team from Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo University, the Karangasem Village Government, and the GP Fish Farmers Group. The data collection stage produces strength data, namely: it has sufficient area, the depth reaches 1.5 m, the volume of water that can be accommodated reaches 22,500 m3, the condition of the water in the reservoir is considered quite good based on the inflow and outflow of water, the level of water infiltration is not too high. high, has an electricity network, and has an internet network. The weakness is that the location of the embung is far from the city center, Mount Pegat still lacks visitors, the knowledge of the embung managers is still minimal. The opportunity is that fishing activities have many enthusiasts, they can activate social media for promotion. The threat is that it has to compete with other water tourism in the Sukoharjo and Wonogiri areas. From the results of the SWOT analysis, a decision was obtained to develop the embung into a fishing tourist attraction and floating net cages. Keywords: embung, SWOT, fishing, cages
