Abstract

Penelitian Abdimas ini berjudul “Pelatihan Pengajaran Pembagian Bilangan Pecahan Bagi Guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Propinsi Jambi” di SD Negeri 21/IV.Jl KH A.Somad Rt 4 Kelurahan Mudung Laut Kecamatan Pelayangan Kota Jambi Kode Pos 36252. Tujuan Abdimas ini adalah untuk ; (1) Miningkatkan  kemampuan kecakapan hidup- life skill kepada guru – guru SD Negeri rayon KKG Kecamatan Pelayangan yang berpusat di SD Negeri 21/IV.Jl KH A.Somad Rt 4 Kelurahan Mudung Laut Kecamatan Pelayangan Kota Jambi Kode Pos 36252. (2) Memberi pemahaman kepada masyarakat mitra tetang Pengajaran Pembagian Bilangan Pecahan dan manfaat yang dihasilkan. (3) Menggugah jiwa pendidik yang professional dengan membentuk Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG). Abdi kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan model pendekatan Analisis Kebutuhan dan Intervensi sesuai dengan tujuan dan sasaran yaitu; Perizinan, Perekrutan, Sosialisasi program, Pelaksanaan Pelatihan. Secara simultan Pelatihan Pengajaran Pembagian Bilangan Pecahan Bagi Guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Propinsi Jambi  ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kecakap hidup/ life skill terutama guru-guru SD Negeri kelompok KKG, masyarakat mitra SD Negeri 21/IV.Jl KH A.Somad Rt 4 Kelurahan Mudung Laut Kecamatan Pelayangan Kota Jambi Kode Pos 36252.

Abstract

SD Negeri 11 Rantau Bayur is a public educational institution located in Banyuasin Regency. The school has been accredited with grade B and implements the 2013 curriculum in teaching and learning activities. However, SD Negeri 11 Rantau Bayur still uses manual methods in evaluating and recording student grades, such as making report cards, grade legers, and recapitulating student grades. This is an obstacle for teachers in measuring the development of students' abilities optimally because the results of the recap of student grades can only be seen at the end of the semester. Therefore, SD Negeri 11 Rantau Bayur needs a website-based report card application with an effective and efficient interface design. The design of the interface aims to provide an overview in the application of the report card application that can improve the efficiency of managing and recording student grades. This interface design is done using the User Centered Design (UCD) method, which allows users to participate in the application design process. This allows users to provide input and suggestions regarding the interface and desired features. After the design was completed, the prototype design of the report card application was evaluated using the Heuristic Evaluation & Webuse (Website Usability Evaluation) questionnaire.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) learning strategies on the mathematical problem-solving ability and confidence of students at SMAN 1 Sembakung, Nunukan Regency. The background of this research is the low ability of students to solve mathematical problem-solving problems and their lack of confidence in facing academic challenges. The PQ4R strategy was chosen because it is considered to be able to encourage active student engagement, build deep understanding, and strengthen confidence through structured learning steps. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design of the pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 73 students in grade XI who were divided into experimental and control groups at random. The research instruments include problem-solving ability tests and confidence questionnaires. The data analysis technique used t-test and MANOVA (Hotelling's Trace) after meeting the normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that PQ4R learning strategies had a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving skills and confidence. The experimental group experienced a higher score increase than the control group. Thus, the PQ4R strategy can be an effective learning alternative to improve the quality of mathematics learning as well as students' affective aspects such as confidence.
