Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic caused a drastic decrease in all users of contraceptives, causing the birth rate (baby boom) to increase by 10% during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several factors have contributed to the increasing decline in contraceptive use, including the lack of health facilities with COVID-19 standardized personal protective equipment, causing concern for couples of childbearing age (EFA) thus delaying visits to health facilities to consult or use family planning, and a small number of health facilities in particular. Contraceptive services do not open a practice because they do not have the means to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This study aims to develop an android-based contraceptive consultation application in anticipation of the baby boom during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research on the development of an android-based contraceptive consultation application during the COVID-19 pandemic was developed to facilitate between family planning acceptors and health workers so that the family planning service program continues to run well. This type of research uses quantitative research with a research design using a combined method (combination method) between Research and Development (R&D) and Pre Experiment methods with One group Pre-test and Post-test designs which will be carried out in the working area of Tiumang Health Center, Tiumang District, Dharmasraya Regency, Province West Sumatra. The research instrument used is a questionnaire and informed consent which will be given to respondents at the time of pre-test and post-test with the tool used is an android-based contraceptive consultation application. The steps of this application design model include needs analysis, development design, contraceptive consultation application development, expert validation test, large-small group trial, and android-based contraceptive consulting application product. The results obtained in this study are an application designed and the features needed by EFA in collaboration with experts in the field of information technology (IT). The calculation of application observations carried out by design experts overall reached 84% meaning valid, while content observations / materials in applications carried out by content experts overall reached 80% meaning valid.

Abstract

Pertolongan persalinan oleh tenaga kesehatan terlatih menjadi sangat penting dalam upaya penurunan angka kematian ibu karena dapat membantu mengenali kegawatan medis dan membantu keluarga untuk mencari perawatan darurat. Pada tahun 2011 Kementerian Kesehatan telah menetapkan kebijakan bahwa semua persalinan harus dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan terlatih dan memulai program Jampersal (Jaminan Persalinan), yaitu suatu paket program yang mencakup pelayanan antenatal, persalinan, posnatal dan Keluarga Berencana. Rendahnya cakupan pertolongan persalinan oleh tenaga kesehatan mejadi salah satu faktor yang berhubungan dengan angka kematian ibu. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan Ibu Hamil tentang penolong persalinan dengan pemilihan tenaga penolong persalinan di jorong koto baru wilayah kerja Puskesmas Koto Baru Kabupaten Dharmasraya Tahun 2021. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu metode ceramah dan diskusi. Dalam tahap pelaksanaannya terbagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu tahap persiapan penyuluhan yang meliputi mengumpulkan data ibu hamil trimester sebanyak 38 orang dan melakukan sosialisasi dengan petugas Kesehatan puskesmas koto baru. Kemudian tahap pelaksanaan penyuluhan yang terbagi menjadi dua yaitu pra proses penyuluhan dan proses penyuluhan. Tahap terakhir adalah tahap evaluasi. Adapun hasil penyuluhan pada pengandian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dari 38 peserta didapatkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat pengetahuan ibu hamil trimester III sebelum dan setelah diberikan penyuluhan dengan nilai p value 0,00.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still not optimal use of learning media in science learning, especially material on plant reproduction. So, this research developed an interactive wordwall game media for science learning to overcome this problem. The purpose of this research is to develop an interactive wordwall game media for science learning, as well as to produce valid, practical and effective media. The type of research used in this research is research and development (R&D). This development procedure refers to the development of the ADDIE model, which consists of several stages, namely (1) Analysis Phase, (2) Design Stage, (3) Development Stage; after going through the development stage a validation test is carried out by 3 validators with 80% results (4) Implementation Stage, at this stage practicality tests were carried out by practitioners (teachers) and (students) with 82% results after that a video media trial was carried out with an effectiveness sheet to get 76% results by obtaining student learning outcomes, (5) Evaluation Stage (Evaluation). Based on the ADDIE procedure used in the research above, it can be concluded that the Wordwall interactive game researchers developed is feasible because it meets the minimum valid, practical and effective criteria.
