Abstract

Accidents can occur due to several factor such as road, environmental and human factors. Jelutung peak red light intersection is a place that is prone to accidents due to conflicts between vehicles and other vehicles or between vehicles and pedestrians. The four-peak Jelutung intersection has a fairly large input and output capacity, and a fairly high density alternately in each lane during peak hours. This study aim to analyze traffic conflicts and examine the problems or damage that occurred at the intersection of Jl. Hayam Wuruk – Jl. D.I Panjaitan – Jl. Dr. Sumbiyono – Jl. Gajah Mada using the Traffict Conflict Technique (TCT) method which caused an accident. The method used in collecting data in this research is a field survey at 07:00-09:00 WIB. The result obtained are 8 types of conflicts that occur at the highest peak hour at 07:45-08:45 WIB, with the highest traffic violations occurring in type 7 conflict, namely with 87 cases of violations which are potential Serious Conflicts, in the shortest Time To Accident (TA) 0.18 seconds and the longest time is 0.53 seconds. Conflicts that occur are caused by vehicle factors, damaged road conditions, lack of complementary road facilities such as road marking and traffic signs, and lack of awareness of road users in obeying traffic regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine traffic performance at intersections using the 2014 PKJI guidelines, so as to determine the capacity value at the intersection and the Degree of Saturation value to continue research by providing solutions to the problems that occur. This research method uses PKJI 2014 guidelines to obtain vehicle volume and road width values at the research location for further analysis. it is known that the peak hour with a total volume value (Q) of 2010.8 cur/hour, a capacity value (C) of 2203 cur/hour, degree of saturation (Dj) = 0.91, delay (T) = 15.96 sec/ cur and the value of the Queue Opportunity (PA) (65.53% - 33.22%). Judging from the results of the degree of saturation, the location of this study did not meet the requirements in the 2014 PKJI, where if the value of the degree of saturation was ≥ 0.85, a design change was required. The service level in this study was C (15.1 – 25.0) in the medium category. After re-calculation by redesigning the width of the minor road approach, moving the market, installing prohibited parking signs along the intersection approach and recommending the placement of bus routes at this research location, assuming the bus passengers are full. Then the resulting value of Capacity (C) is 2319.7 cur/hour, with a Degree of Saturation (Dj) value of 0.84. Where the Dj value meets the requirements of the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014).

Abstract

From data from BPS (Central Statistics Agency) Jambi City, the population of Jambi City in 2022 is 619,553 people with an area of 205.38 km2, has 11 sub-districts. Safira Housing is one of the housing complexes located in Talang Bakung Village, Paal Merah District, Jambi City. Population Safira housing ± 455 people. The increase in trips made by a number of Safira housing communities will cause traffic jams during peak hours such as when leaving and returning from work. This research method uses multiple linear regression with independent variables consisting of the number of family members X1, the number of family members who work X2, number of family members attending school x3, with trip generation as variable Y and then analyzed using the SPSS application. The variable that has a dominant influence on the dependent (dependent) variable is based on the standardized coefficient beta value, namely the variable number of family members attending school/college (X3), number of family members (X1), and number of working family members (X2). The trip generation analysis model at Safira Housing is: Y 2.257 + 0.275 X1 + 0.227 X2 + 0.528 From this model, the factors that influence the generation of Safira Housing trips are obtained, namely the number of family members (X1), the number of family members who work (X2), the number of family members who go to school/college (X3). Based on the R Square value of 0.621, this means that 62.1% of trip generation at Safira Housing is explained by the independent variables in the form of number of family members, number of family members working, number of family members attending school/university.

Abstract

The rainy season, which has a fairly high frequency over a long period of time, results in the need for drainage so that the amount of rainwater can be channeled into water bodies and some of it can be used for purposes in daily life. This is so as not to cause inundation and flooding problems. This research aims to analyze the condition of the existing drainage network, calculate runoff discharge, plan infiltration wells for utilizing rainwater in the Villa Delima Mayang housing complex, Jambi City. The method used in this planning uses hydrological analysis calculations including mononobe, pearson III and rational log methods. In planning infiltration wells, it refers to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) No. 03-2453-2002. The result of the 10 year return period design rainfall is 112.17 mm. the results of the analysis of the carrying capacity show that 9 out of 14 channels are unable to accommodate the 10 year return period design discharge. Next, an absorption well with a diameter of 0.8 meters and a depth of 1.5 meters is planned and placed in a drainage channel that cannot accommodate runoff. The absorption capacity of 1 well is 0.7536 m3.

Abstract

The Palembang - Jambi highway is a very busy route. Along the road at the entrance to Jambi City, Paal 10 - Simpang 4 Paal 10, Jambi City is passed by many vehicles because this road is one of the roads that is open to pass through heavy vehicles carrying loads. This is also one of the causes of rapid damage to flexible road pavement. The aim of this research is to determine the average daily traffic volume of vehicles passing through the asphalt pavement at the entrance gate of Jambi City, Paal 10 - intersection 4 Paal 10, Jambi City, to find out the effect of vehicle load on the level of road damage on the entrance gate of Jambi City. Paal 10 – Simpang 4 Paal 10 Jambi City. This research method uses guidelines from Bina Marga Pd T-14-2003. Average daily traffic data (LHR) on the entrance road to the city of Jambi Paal 10 – intersection 4 Paal 10 Jambi City on Saturday is 6,702 vehicles, on Sunday it is 6650 vehicles and on Monday it is 6719 vehicles. From this data, the total LHR from the vehicle analysis results is 1115 vehicles/hour. and the results of the Truck Factor calculation are 3.775 > 1, where this value shows that the condition of the damage to the road at the entrance to the city of Jambi Paal 10 - intersection 4 Paal 10 Jambi city is due to the excessive load of vehicles passing through it. The excessive load factor that occurs causes 2 types of damage, namely groove distortion with a high level of damage and alligator cracks.

Abstract

The increasing population in Jambi city every year has an impact on the increasing need for clean water. As a regional drinking water company, PERUMDA Tirta Mayang needs to plan clean water needs and calculate reservoir capacity to meet customer water needs. The purpose of this study is to determine the effective reservoir volume at IPA Aurduri as one of the IPAs with the largest processing capacity, project clean water needs, and calculate the effective reservoir volume for the next 10 years. The projection formula is used to project the needs for the next 10 years. The projection formula used is geometric, arithmetic which will then be selected the best for the projection calculation. IPA Aurduri has a processing capacity of 270 l/s and a total reservoir capacity of 2,500 m3. The projection results for the next 10 years, customer clean water demand is 189,095 lt/sec, and the average daily water requirement is 249,605 lt/sec. The required reservoir volume is 5,400 m3. So PERUMDA needs to increase its capacity by 2,900 m3.
