Abstract

Peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat bukan tanggung jawab pemerintah semata, akan tetapidiperlukan partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat khususnya kalangan akademisi. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakandengan tujuan untuk membantu mencari alternatif tambahan penghasilan warga kampung Palangpang, yang mayoritas penduduknya berprofesi sebagai nelayan dan petani. Meskipun kampung ini berada didekat pantai dan perekonomian masyarakatnya tergantung dari hasil laut, akan tetapi sebagai masyarakatada yang tertarik untuk mempelajari budi daya ikan air tawar seperti lele sebagai usaha mencaritambahan pendapatan keluarga. Pemanfaatan pekarangan penduduk untuk membudidayakan lele dengan menggunakan kolamterpal bulat, pemberian pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang pengaturan air kolam, pemilihan benih lele,pemilihan pakan, pengelolaan air, dan pemasaran walaupun belum signifikan tetapi telah membantuperekonomian sebagian masyarakat di kampung Palangpang. Panen dilakukan setelah masa pemeliharaan3 bulan, dan berdasarkan perhitungan rata-rata pendapatan sehari-hari menunjukkan peningkatan dari yang asalnya Rp.30.000,- menjadi Rp. 35.000,-. Kesimpulannya, bahwa budidaya ikan lele dapat menjadisalah satu alternatif peningkatan kesejahteraan warga melalui pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan.

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the representation that refers to students' learning styles of Grasha Model-Reichmann in vocational subjects of 10th Grade of Vocational High School (VHS), Competency of Architecture Engineering. The study lasted from April to May 2015.This research is using a descriptive quantitative survey approach. The population in this study were all 10th students of 26 and 52 VHS of Jakarta with a total of 122 people. The sampling method is using the saturated sampling techniques with a total of 122 people. The techniques used for data collection are communication techniques and documentation. The instrument for students that are used in the form of a questionnaire from a total of 60 statements refers to Grasha-Reichmann Student Learning Style (GRSLS). The result is that there are 49 number of valid statement with very high reliability of (r11) = 0.96.Based on the research that has been done, the students' learning styles that is mainly used to the Subject of Building Construction is the collaborative learning style (78.93%), collaborative learning style (80.00%) for the Measure Soil Science Subjects, collaborative learning style (78.50%) for the Engineering Mechanics Subject, and participant learning styles (75.66%) for the Subject of engineering drawings.Results of interviews with teachers indicate that the Subject Building Construction, Measure Soil Science and Engineering Mechanics during the learning process using lecture while teaching style to the Subject engineering drawings using peer tutors. The difference between the student's learning style with teachers teaching style shows the results obtained by each student also had differences.

Abstract

This study evaluated the effectiveness of Grindal Worm (Enchytraeus buchholzi) and Bloodworm (Tubifex sp.) as live feeds on the growth performance of eel (Anguilla spp.) during the glass eel stage. As a high-value aquaculture commodity with increasing global demand, eel production requires effective feeding strategies to enhance growth and survival during early development. A quantitative descriptive method with an experimental approach was applied. A total of 5,862 glass eels were reared in six aquariums, each containing 977 individuals. Two feeding treatments were tested: Grindal Worm and Bloodworm. Growth performance was assessed based on weight gain, length increment, and survival rate (SR), while data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results demonstrated that glass eels fed with Grindal Worm achieved significantly higher weight gain and length growth than those fed with Bloodworm. Survival rates were also slightly higher in the Grindal Worm treatment. Water quality remained within optimal ranges throughout the experiment, with pH values of 7.6–8.16, dissolved oxygen of 4.9–6.3 mg/L, and temperatures of 21.4–23.3°C, ensuring suitable environmental conditions. Statistical analysis indicated a significant effect of feed type on growth performance (p < 0.05). Therefore, Grindal Worm is recommended as a more effective live feed than Bloodworm for improving the growth and survival of glass eels in aquaculture.
